  1. @Buffalo Barbarian gets my vote . He is the premier identifier of QB talent so he must be good at other positional evaluations too
  2. You should feel happy. If not for anything but for the fact that @Kirby Jackson cracked a joke 😃
  3. However there is something to be said for dressing and behaving in a manner appropriate for your job. If a coach has certain minor quirks (clapping, incessantly chewing gum) then it doesn't matters. But McDaniels' acting and talking style resembles a stoned college guy on a Saturday afternoon . Which I argue is not appropriate. To use a rather extreme example, I work in a professional engineering environment and often have to face customers. I cannot show up for work in shorts, cut sleeved t shirts with tattoo showing while expecting my boss to say "I am fine with his dressing as long as he is selling".
  4. That's the coolest thing I have seen in ages. Bass' days as a Bill are numbered.
  5. Yeah but in reverse, if the Bills thought any of them can play competently for a year, then their hand is less forced during the draft. I am not looking for long term solutions, just a 1 year rental. Also allows us to groom any DB drafted this year.
  6. I have been wondering why he hasn't been picked up by any team yet. And while we are talking of DBs, Asante Samuel Jr and Gilmore are still available too.
  7. Daddy Josh doesn't discriminate between his kids. All three are equally second
  8. So can the niners simply cut him to avoid the bonus? At which point he would become a FA and hence more affordable? I am clearly not a cap expert so asking this for my own education. Given what has been said in this thread - his injury, risk of him not being able to play well post-injury and high cost, there will be no suitors for a trade.
  9. Maybe he hasn't and that's why he signed such a cheap deal 🙂
  10. I just realized his initials are CB also. No one has ever accused me of being fast on the take
  11. The topic of this thread was about his FaceTime when at an army base. Instead of appreciating what the kid is doing and the fun of him video calling with Josh, most of the posters are yet again taking the opportunity to bash Coleman. There are tens of other threads to do that without totally hijacking and destroying the fun of the original post.
  12. Finding it may be a challenge unto itself
  13. I would absolutely dislike Diggs the team mate coming back with that sour attitude. I would not mind Diggs the player coming in to play on a snap count and to give us that threat again. Unfortunately, I dont think we can separate the player from the personality.
  14. Five ex-Bills on that list !!
  15. I don't understand this entire saga with Elam. The coaches do not have a track record of being unduly harsh on any player. To think that they essentially tortured Elam, the fan base and themselves by holding on to him seems out of character. Something doesn't add up for me. Perhaps you see more than I do?
  16. Which is what we spent on Benford. So at least we got one starting CB that year though the values on-field were flipped. Getting rid of Elam was not a surprise at all. I was expecting him to be cut due to lack of interest but I had forgotten about teams like the Cowboys
  17. That reads like a Fibonacci series /nerdmodeoff
  18. That contract was signed on Monday and hand delivered by Coleman.
  19. Samuel hasn't shown much. Injuries are part of the game and I dont think we should bank on the hope that he will be injury free and contribute in any big fashion. Also, too early to tell if Coleman can show progress. Coleman is seemingly putting in the offseason work, which is good, but whether it translates to on-field success remains to be seen. In short, we have two proven WRs and two who are questionable in their ability to contribute significantly. We need at least one, maybe two more additions.
  20. For Pickens? Please let's not
  21. Pickens' attitude bothers me. I dont think he puts in the effort on every down and may pout if not given the targets. Loads of talent though.
  22. Ty made some excellent plays in the receiving department but that highlighted the lack of talent at that position If we get 2 good WRs (trade + draft) then the need of a Ty Johnson to be a receiving threat goes down. The primary back should be that option
