  1. I must say that with each passing season its become harder and harder to watch the team not want to win a game. Today has got to be the worse for me. After watching them march down the field showing a real good plan for the game shoot themselves in the foot when it came time to put it in for seven. That started their pathetic display for the rest of the game. It is Blatenly obvious that we do not have a QB on this team that can play nor do we have an offensive cordinator that can call a game. Stick with what works and avoid the obvious. It pains me to see us paing 15 mil to WRs who cannot get the Job done. I also hope that Josh reed will not be back next year he was painful to watch on the PRs and the critical plays he blew. It really pissed me off as it did EVERYONE when amybin was called offsides what a dope, but what pissed me off even more was not trying it again. We were not going to stop them anyone who thought differnetly dont know the Pats very well. It was nice to see that we finally held them to beating us by 8 points over 2 games in a season and that we were able to force them to punt balls but man WHY cany we stop the run the RBS are not that good. Finally, for thos calling to see what Brohm can do should show some patience and let him do it in the off season becuase two things are likely to happened based on totdays performance hes either going to get killed or shell shocked and neither will prove anything to us let the two dopes we already have at QBS finish up this train wreck with the most pathetic passing protection i have ever seen from an offensive linve. Thank god there is only two games left i cannot stand much more of this pathetic offense and rush defense display any longer. Hopefully we can say goodbye to: Trent Fitz Parrish Reed Kelsay TO I would put Evans on this list but the hit would be to huge And hello to A QB that can actually win Two tackles that can pass block as well as run a Center two WRs and a DE that can get to the Qb a DT that can plug up the middle
  2. You forgot the payback in Kind; 31-0 in the season Finale.
  3. Doug Flutie 1-1 RJ 0-2 Drew 1-5 Holcomb 0-1 Jp 0-4 Trent 0-4 Dougie was the last QB to play well against the Pats. Drew only won the game becuase we picked up Lawyer Malloy Before the game and knew what the defensive game plan would be and was succesful against it. Personally, I do not see Fitzy winning this game nor do I think Trent would do any better and I think the main reason Flutie was any good against them was becuase of two things one he had it in for the Pats and two he improvised more then anything. So remind me Why the Dolphins are our rivals and not the Patriots?
  4. Wrong Buffalo has not shot at the division. Buffalo will not win the tie breakers: 1. Head-to-Head- Tie 2. Division Record- Tie 3. Common Games -Tie 4. Conference Record-Tie 5. Strength of Victory- NE This is where we would lose it NE beat Titans 59-0 and Tampa bay 35-7 thats 94-7 in 2 games our wins have been narrow by14 or less 6. Strength of Schedule- We would also lose it here becuase Ne played DEN and Baltimore Compared to our KC and Cleveland. The only dream scenario that would work is if the 6th seed lost all three of their remaining games with the bills winning the remaing three and the Biggest problem of the whole scenario is winning three in a row. What ever delusions you had about the Bills winning the first game against the pats are not realistic for the scond game because we are always destroyed in the second game and if Indy is vying for perfection WE WILL NOT BEAT THE COLTS period. We will be lucky to win against Atlanta. finishing with a 6-10 record just one shy of our 7-9.
  5. I have been saying this for years. Glad to see someone else agrees.
  6. The only good numbers Evans has put up is with JP throwing him the long ball. But with no JP and TO the ball hog of the WR Evans isnt worth 9mil a year because his only skill is the deep ball. I said before if we were not keeping JP and we were not going to be a vertical team Lee should have been traded NOT RESIGNED and not for the amunt he got resigned for. Lee isnt and never will be a #1 receiever. He is a #2 vertical threat with a strong aremd QB who isnt afraid to look off TO.
  7. 45% + the taxes alredy taxed on the original money probaly around 30-40% so really the rich is getting taxed 70-85% of the money over the lifetime of it.
  8. I am not calling singeltary a failure by any means. I am using him as a comaprison example that it doesnt mean instant success next year where as an experienced coach may.
  9. Im saying that there situations are pretty identical and inxperience and emotion of intensity doesnt neccessarily equal success immeadately where as experience could.
  10. I do not want to dismiss Fewell and the energy he has brought to our team. However anything is better then the corpse that once was our HC. Its easy to get excited when your team is finally showing emotion. The same intensity that gave Mike Sngeltery a 5-4 record as in interim HC that won him the Job. However he is 5-6 this season. Not great by any means. Let me disect this by goal of the team. IT seams to me the goal is to win! A new inexperiend coach isnt going to do that for our team. IF a mediocre coach can have this team 7-9 the last three seasons imagine what a great coach could potentially do. I would put it this way if we are not getting a Cower/Shannahan/Gruden/Billick/Fassel/Sherman then and only then would I stick with Fewell. Point blank if you cannot get the guy who can potentially turn this around next season then you stick with the guy that has the team fired up. There isnt much that needs to be done to this team to be a legitimate playoff conteder next season and I believe Ralph see this as well. That IMHO why i believe he is looking to go big time with a HC/GM role. Fewell is not likely to get us to that level next season but he could do it the season after that witht he right assitant coaches.
  11. Buffalo is the best situation for any experienced HC/GM to come into. Why do I say that you might ask. First, let me point out what others on here have not. Our QB is easily replaceable no big hits to the salary and noone earning more then 2 mil a year. Which means that the new coach can bring in any QB that fits his style witout hurung the salary cap for years to come. Our OL is easily upgradeable with the exception of our 2 draft picks. Noone on the line is making more then 2 mil a year and could be released without any damage to our salary cap. So the new Coach could build the line he wants. OUr WR fir the most part is easily upgradeable. TO is gone but if the new coach feels he could utilize him better he may or maynot be able to come back. Josh is a free agent and doesnt have to come back. Parrish is the only exception trading him could net us a low draft pick but will take a hit to the salry cap maybe the new HC could actually utilize him. With the exception of Whitner/Schoebel/ Stroud and Maybin everyone on defense can be replaced with little hit to the salary cap. We are also sitting in a very good position with our salary cap next season making it very easy to upgrade the talent level of this team. Therefore the new head coach/GM can make any type of change to this team with little effect to the salary cap and build his team quicker than he could with any other team. Fianlly Raplh has beed quoted as stating he would be willing to pay 10 mil a year for the qualified candidate. I believe they are looking for the HC/GM not one or the other. Otherwise why would they be looking at Homgren/Gruden/Cower/ or Shannahan. But I believe the want Shannahan and based on the reading between the lines his close friend Adam Schefter Buffalo is a very appealing situaion for Shannahan especially because of the shape of our salary cap. If Shannahan somehow turns down the position expect the Bills to go for a gm and the GM will make the coaching decision. I firmly billieve that Shannahan will be the HC/GM but regardless if he is or not Buffalo is very appealling to a new GM.
  12. I think you are eluding the true point. Without Parcells NE would still be nothing he took a team that noone wanted to play for and brought them to where they are to day because if parcells wasnt in NE Belicheck wouldnt have benn in NE to get the NE job. He also turned the Jets around as well as the Cowboys. We would be intriquing to him because if he was able to get the Job with the Bills he would be the first coach in history to coach all the teams in the AFC east. If he is able to turn us around and make us into a consistent playof team I would be happy with that. Winning superbowls is the goal but you cant win it if your not in it. SO the first goal is to be in it and consistently.
  13. I posted the better stat not including the loss against the Dolphins or the three wins Buffalo has been either up by less then 6 or down by less then 6 in 6 games in those six games we have been outscore 74-0 which would mean in ther other 4 games we were not out scored but it was close us 40- them 35.
  14. Especially considering we almost had a 300 yd passer and an almost 200 yard receiver then again running game still absent.
  15. The 4th qtr woes continue. In 6 games this season being up or down by 6 points or less going into the 4th qtr only to be outscored 74-0 in those games losing all 6. Now that Jauron is gone and the same thing occurs who is to blame????? My guess now is AVP. Its more painful when you are in games by the score but cannot pull up enough in the end to win,
  16. First off Fewell was interviewed for the Postion and he is on the Field thru the end of the season with the opprotunity to have the Job. But with all things considered they can bring in anyone they feel will do the best job. The seem to be looking for a coach that will serve as a Hybrid GM/HC. There is no gauranty to Fewell.
  17. I would trade Trent Edwards and a Sceond round pick for Cutler. Cutler has nothing in Chicago. In Buffalo he has two running backs, Lee Evans and TO and other recievers who could make a name for. For thos who think Cutler Sucks. Look at Eddie Royal who flourished with cutler last season and how he has been almost absent this season. Then we should trade for his favorite TE and sign a T and the Offense would be Great.
  18. Under the right coaching Losman would have turned into a good player. Flame away all you want but I think JPs talen was under utilized and try to get him to do stuff he never has done. Give him a coach that utilizes his abilities and hones his skills he could turn into a Good QB. I know many of you look at the fact he was a first round pick he was second round talent that according to his scouting reports needed three to four years to develop. But because we have no patience we play yo-yo with our qbs and dont teach them right. The best thing about Shannahan is the running game succes which is needed in Buffalo.
  19. Pointless??? How could you be so nieve? First, Perry is getting a chance to prove whether or not hes capable of being a Head Coach after this season. The seaon is over anyway why not see if Fewell can do the Job. Second, We have 7 weeks to find a coaching replacement in a time where several top tier names are available well before ANY OTHER TEAM IN THE NFL. This gives us firs dibs on anycoach. Finally, If we are looking into a Cower, Shannahan or Holmgren as the Football guy/ Head Coach this gives the new guy we hire before the seasons out to Evaluate staff, Players etc before the end of the season. Given them an opprotunity to have a paln once the season ends. This is a great move for the future of the team. NOW is better then the end of the season. Now we can be evaluted and prepared for Next season so we are not behind and the New HC/GM wont be overloaded and undertime. This was a great thing for our teams future.
  20. Trent Would be a good Qb on another team preferably in the warmer environments or a dome. I have said this numerous of times he is not a BUFFALO QB and this team has not picked up anyone capble of bieng a BUFFALO QB since Bledsoe. You have to have a strong arms to throw balls in NOV/DEC/JAN in BUF is balls float way too much to be effective in this weather you cannot teach arm strength.
  21. That Means Trent Edwards will be the starting Qb go Captain Checkdown
  22. I wasnt on board for Jauron when he came I knew he was a bad idea and the worst one out of the options we had at the time. I am for a competitive coach one that can get this team over the hump. Hell I will even go as far as saying if Perry can pull off a 5-2 record with the remainder of the season that I would give him the opprotunity. The thing thats different this year then any other year we needed a head coach is that their our huge iconic names out there. Our mouths water at the fact of possibility in a coach of Cower, Shanahan, Gruden and holmgren stature with Billick also a possibility as well. Proven coaches coaches that have come in and turned teams around and made superbowls. To me COWER would be the best option but as I said as long as its someone with intesity and the capibility of putting together a competitve season I would support that coach until proven otherwise.
  23. Jauron Should have been fired befor the season even began To had nothing to do with his firing. Maybe the fact that we won 3 games lost one by a blowout and the other 5 games we were wither up by less then 3 or down by less then 3 going into the 4th qtr and was outscored 66-0 in the 4th qtr of those 5 games!!!!
  24. I agreee I got a very good vibe off of him and he just might be the spark we will see on sunday.
