I think you are missing the bigger issue of the fans distate for last years 7-9 so we can now rephase your question as the following: Which is worse going 0-16 or starting the season 6-2 and finsihing 1-7 and going 0-6 in the division to boot? Sorry But i will go with the going 1-7 and finsihing 0-6 in the division after a promising 6-2 start!!!!!!!!!!

First let me say i can not understand how you would even think Trent would throw the ball to guy whos not even open, Trent throws safe passes only. Owens will always be the primary target becuase he IS the #1 receiver on this team when Trent is in his check down and finds Lee open he will recieve the ball otherwise looke for the usual suspects REED/RBS recieving the ball from Trent.

Buffalo would not take a chance on Vick. HE has negative publicitiy unlike TO who is more of a positive because he does not have any off the field issues only issues directly relating to a team but instantly makes any team better. Vick on the other hand will instantly make a team worse becuase of all the negative publicity not to mention the teammates that might not have any respect for him and would not listen to him or follow his leadership.

The team will never go 16-0 again. They will be lucky to go 13-3 again.

With three very good running backs my question is what do you think of the possibility of utilizing rhodes as a FB or in the FB slot as a Dual RB option? I am not saying he is to be used as a blocker. But more as an option of trickery where he could be the one running the ball instead of ML or Jackson or as another receiveing option in the back field? Just wanted to get some feelers on this.

The more i think about and believe me I am being as realistic as possible I do see another 7-9 season but reading the hype on some of the players we are getting and who they are replacing is leaving me somewhat optimistic but still skeptical. How can we not get excited about hangartenr who filled in nicely for the panthers as a starter for 8 games mostly at center. Any center has to be better than waht we had honestly. How can we not get excited about Wood playing LG at worse hes an equal to dockery but the potential to be soo much better. Butler should be over at RT his natural psotion I think he will excel there Anyone on our OL can essentially play RG not really worried about who plays their. Then comes the skeptism can Walker play LT for 16 games and atleast play eqaul to what JP did last season? I dunno The Addition of TO both excites me and worries me in the same breath-I like that he instantly makes Evans and Reed better just for being there. I like that hes going to bring a winning/fighting attitude to this team its been lacking. However, I am worried about the mentality of Trent if this doesnt turn out well. He seemed pretty feeble minded the last half of the season last year how will he do with a player of TO's status getting up in his grill? I like the RB situation I feel pretty confident in this are of our team. Shawn Nelson has the hype to be a great pass catching TE that we have not had since remeirsna(sp) which if utilized correctly could make this offense once of the most powerfull offenses we have had since the early 90's. Yet I am skeptical because of the coaching staff. THE OC its going to out think himself not knowing what to do with all the potential talent he has on offense and DJ loves to play not to lose which means that if this offense is considered an 8 cyl engine he will be playing in on 4 cly to keep it close. The schedule keeps me skeptical of them achieving more than 7 wins but the hype of the young players mixed with some veterans and possibly the best offense we have had since the early 90's on the field I feel optimistic about their chances to break the bubble.

But after rereading the date of MAy 11 he was signed and hes scheduled for a visit Wed May 13 I am leaning towards it being false as well. There is abslutley nothing Dick could do to get fired mid season. He is in the beginning of a three year extenstion and will be able to finish out the year and if he finsihes 7-9 yet again he will be retained for contunutiy for another season and Ralph Wilson will be noted as stating that The line was revamped and this team is only a few players away from breaking the bubble which is another way for him to say I am not paying a coach not to coach and he has two more years on the dumb extension I though I got at a real good price on when he was 6-1.

TD did us worse He had the ability and talent in place to succeed he picked the wrong coach his first two years gave us an 11-21 record with a team ready to make a playoff push out of 20 picks his first two years only 6 were contributors and of the 6 ony 4 were starters which means TDs crew was totally inept of drating any type of contributor or Starter he had less than 20% success rate. Marv levy took on what we all knew was a sinking ship too many holes and no real answers his coach brought us 14-18 over two years. He had 16 draft picks and 11 are contributors of those 11 and amazing 8 are/were starters which means that Levys crew were more adept to pick thier picks to be immeadate contributors or starters. MArvs crew had les than 60% success rate with drafting. So based on expectations: TD stated playoffs, Levy stated moderate rebuilding. Based on draft picks: TD 20% succes rate, Levy 50-60% succes rate Based on standings: TD 8-8, 3-13, overall 11-21 Levy 7-9,7-9 overall 14-18 Levys draft were mre succesful in producing more consitent standings in the overall 2 seasons putting this team in the position to break the bubble without breaking the bank. OVERALL= MARV was better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I disagree CHAMPIONSHIPS DO NOT DEFINE THE QB!!!!!!! The patriots have been SOLID in all three aspects of the team DEFENSE/OFFENSE and Special Teams You need all three to win and if you would like to be technical it was the FOOT of Adam Vinatarie (sp) that won the superbowls. THey havent won one with out Adam he could not pull of the same miracle he pulled off in the previous three. Peyton is the BEST QB and will go down as the BEST QB when his career is over holding every record in passing, completions and TDS.

I Didnt like him Just I dont like Brady or Elway or Aikman all over rated QBS in my opinion and its my list of Qbs and noone is going to agree with my placement as I am most likely not going to agree with theirs.

Not Factual- Drew is not a system QB as you can see in buffalo and Dallas but the proof is in the pudding- Brady went down and the team didn lose a beat with the QB who did not throw a pss since high school- That is a system QB sorry but thats a fact. The sytem was not built around him it was the system that Belicheat had installed but drew could not run becuase Drew was hard headed Brady/ Cassel and Montana are the Listening QBS they do what their coaches ask them to so purely system. Unlike Montana who did well in KC Brady would not do well on another team. Thats why Montana is listed higher than him on my list.

Peyton Manning is my choice any Qb who can make all the audible read defenses and put up as manny yards passing and TDs as he has with is consitent win ratio deserve to be at the top of the list in my opinion. Lets now play rank your choices: I do not base this Ranking on the ability to Win superbowls since its a TEAM SPORT but on their ability to be the contributor to their team and their team would not do well without them. 1. Other- Warren Moon- The most underated QB in the leaugue with a great arm 4. Steve Young- Played with a chip on his shoulder and not afraid of anything too many concusions or he would have been higher on my list 5. Bret Farve- The guy played for the horrible greenbay packers and brought them from the Lions type of spotlight to the spotlight 6. Joe Montana- A systems QB who made smart decsions but was afraid of the game so he got rid of the ball quickly 7. Tom Brady- A system QB who also makes smart play but is not afraid of the pressure in his face when he has it few more years of his consitent play moves him up the list. 8. John Elway- Personally never liked him but his team was always in the super bowl losing until TD got there and helped him win two straight and made me dislike hiom even more because Jimbo had to interview him and aske him how he felt after losing 4 to finally win one trully pissed me off 9. Its the same reason everyones is infatuated with the President, Madonna, Tiger Woods etc, etc, etc People love to talk about the most popular people then they like to dig up the most dirt on the most popular people to knock them off of thier pedicel that we put them on in the first place becuase as much as we want someone on a pedicel it reminds us of how deficient we are and we dont want to me reminded so we need to show them they are no different then us. I would say with the exception of Tiger Woods in the modern era of popularity everyone that has rsien to fame will be in some way shape or form attempted to be risen to shame as well.

Have you ever played the game of football and played it with a seperated shoulder as Donte Whitner did last season?????????? The guy was playing hurt and was trying to get an angle on him to avoid further injury which happened anyway. THe guy has been the teams #2 2006 and #3 2007 in tackles on this team when he is 100% healthy. I unlike some here do not think he sucks and understand his problem last season was the seperated shoulder and if he comes back 100% healthy this season then we will see. How can you guys be so quick to defend the brittle regressing skills of TRent and use the concusion as an excuse for him but dont us a seperated shoulder as an exuces for a person who needs to health shoulders to make hits and tackle?????
