  1. Im thinking hes cheap Depth or possible starter if he can win a JoB Below is a search link that has some tidbits on him Basically hes 6-4 302lbs and played at RG and LT. http://www.nfl.com/info/search/index
  2. I think what makes Losman such and inspiration of hope is the fact that hes everything Bledsoe is not, Mobile which allows him to escape the pressure of rushing defenders, also it alows im to roll out and boot leg this alone makes are offense multidimensionall instead of Drewdemsional. OHHHH and as everyone else also knows he can throw the screen passes so yeah this is exciting and I personally hope all this pans out and we have the second second year rookie to win a superbowl.
  3. We dont want to read too much into it, but I will. Ty Law refernced that alot of players have called and asked him to come and play with him but he pointed out 1 name of all those players, Lawyer so they can do it all over again. Do what? Win with a second year QB, Win with one of it not the best Defenses in the leaugue. Finally bring a Champinship to a team that is longing for it after losing 4 straight. The point here is I think Law his hinting he might be reunited with Lawyer., but hes got to get healthy first. So we will see come May. Personally, I want Law it could be like the year the Ravens won it all. All on defense.
  4. I never blamed the line once last year I was always saying *&^^%#*@ Drew!!!! When you have a bcak that comes in and averages a 100yds per game the line isnt as bad as the qb he wouldnt hit the guy 2 feet to the left, right or infron of him. Drew hated i mean he HATED the passes that were less than 8 yards we would still look for the guy that was covered by 2 or 3 in the secondary in hopes of the big play. HIs stats all year long were fluffed think about it he averaged 1 play a game of atlest 50-80 yds usually in the last minute of the 4th qtr and he averaged 180 yds a game. There was also a game or 2 I remeber the backups came in( i mean the Back up RB and the Back up qb) and ran every down, downt the feild for a score. My point, How bad can the line actually be if we can run the ball better than half the leaugue throw in those short passes and see how much our offensive goes from one to a two dimensional offense.
  5. I agree, i think the line could be reshuffled But im I like tucker but his he capable of being the type fo center we need him to be?
  6. Ive been thinking about this since Drew was going to be released. We are getting a young QB under an old really not that great of a center. So The idea I have is this: Move Mike Williams to LT Move Trey Teaugue to RT SIGN a 4 YEAR VETERAN at CENTER Draft/sign 2 OT's for depth. I strongly believe that center is our need here guys, its best for our new QB rookie to get familiar with his center for atleast 4 years and Teaugue is not a center and is not going to last 4 years at the position. I think if Losman pans out the way I feel he will the offensive line is not going to be as big of an issue as Bledsoe made it appear to be. I rember Bledsoes last game against the Jets when he was in NE the announcers were stating this is the worse line in the NFL and they need to upgrade it. THis same offensive line that aided Tom Brady to his first of three Superbowl wins. Which tells me the line is only as good as the QB's decision making and escapability which Losman has a lot of escapability. Plus the bootlegs and the rollouts and the running of our RBS will make it easier on the line because lines like to block down field. So a List of my free agent draft needs in their priority and the reason why: 1. QB- we have an unproven QB who has already broken a bone before a season started so a qaulity Veteran QB would be my first need to be filled. 2. C- I would sign a center with in the next week because as i stated above i feel its neccessary for a c-qb to hav a long lasting relationship plus i think it would be a great upgrade. 3/4. RT/LG- I would like to upgrade the line with serviceable lineman at inexpensive price so which ever order i get the cheapest first is the order i get one. 4. Possesion 3 Wide Reciever- I think all our WR below evans are not that good with their hands or running their routes- THis would take pressure off of moulds and evans if we had a good hands/route runner not afraid to go over the middle. 5. TE-this could be a draft need but i do like a couple of TE in the FA market and with two of our TE coming off injury this is a true need. Rookie qbs need that outlet to throw to. 6. DT- I would Draft this number 2 pick and Edwards will not be the starter TIM will be. 7. RB- 3rd round pick- Everything I keep reading states there will be great depth at RB's this year we could draft a qulity back up right here- we did with Henry in the 2nd. 8. OL- 4th round pick and then the best available players for depth including a 3rd string QB rounds 5-7 plus any comp picks. The last thing I would note during my list of priorities I would be feeling out Ty Law because I feel Mcgee needs another year and the leadership of Law And Vincent would make our corners outstanding. Well im ready for the hits, but let me assure you I feel comfortable with our roster and I really dont feel we lost anything we couldnt upgrade at less of a price tag. For those of you who do have a cap mind dont forget we need to save cap room for Mcgahees incentive bonuses and others that might have them in the contract that come out of this years cap at the end of the season.
  7. RBs are not all good and cannot not all play well in other teams some RBs are pure products of the system example all rbs out of denver who were all drafted and one star rb int he 6th rd. Not to say there arent Marshall Faulks and Ricky Williams out there. BUt we can actually get away with drafting a RB in the Draft and be Just fine.
  8. I havent heard any Law rumors except for Law and KC, personally being in NE and watching Law play I would love to have him on the otherside of Clements and give Mcgee some time to grow in nickle and dime packages. Honestly, I thought he would have been released last year and we would have signed him. I was also thinking maybe we were going after him since we lost Williams we know Law needs to be paid.
  9. Im trying to understand your rationalization of a good deal. Yes we picked JP withour First round pick a year early. However, look at this we gave away our First round pick in 2002 for Bledsoe and our 2nd and 4th round pick to dallas and released Bledsoe so they could sign Bledsoe to even less then what we had him at so essentially we lose 2 picks and a (4 MIL AGAINST THE CAP) player for an entity not even proven yet. So remind me again wheres the good deal?????? Personally I would have traded down the first round pick for a number 1 and 2 rd pick up Losman trade up my 2 number 2's and got Rashaun Woods and still had my 4th (depth for the ol) round pick and still have my first round pick this year which i would draft a DT. TD is a moron not a genious. Not too mention how great shelton is another first round bust to go with our 9mil first round bust there intelligence for ya.
  10. Blaylock isnt going ot be a backup hes proven hes a starting RB in the NFL.
  11. Yeah Muarice Clarett should still be hanging around. Will get him some looks make him look good an trade him for a higher draft pick then we got him at.
  12. Wiley was with Dallas but was released last week and is now a free agent.
  13. i dont understand why everyone is so caught up on retaining Jennings hes not worth the money-let him go. Outside of that everyone is a little delusional right now because Bledsoe can make the best 5 OL guys in the world look like the worst unit after 16 games. I believe we will do just fine. Lets not concentrate on 2 positions please. We need a WR/TE/RB/QB/ as well as the LT/DT Not to mention DEPTH DEPTH DEPTH.
  14. I agree with that, I dont know why hes getting a sick amount of money that is really making it just as impractible to cut him as it is to keep him. I believe that all first round picks should have "PRO try out year" at leaugue mininmum and if the team feels they will pan out then sign them to lucrative deal. If he doesnt pan out he could then be released and another team could then sign him to a lucrative deal. That way these worthless rookies can stop taking money away from our valuable veterans.
  15. We would only need 2 Positions not 3 where did you learn how to count. Either a LT/RT or a C/RT and there are several serviceable rt/c on the F/A market.
  16. Hey I think i can give TD a suggestion of what do do with our LT Mike Willams BUST(which he is) Think about this for a second.....6'5 375lbs DT to replace Pat Williams.... HUH I think it could work...What do you think ***putting guard up to block all the blows and armor to protect from the cheap shots***
  17. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/football/...yers/99584.html Heres a little fiction(maybe fact) According to the link Mike used to play some DT Maybe since we are stuck with this guy for atleast 2 more years we put him over on the Defensive side of ball 6'5 375 and young maybe he will be a youthfull Big Ted, Then we shore up the offensive line side of the ball by moving Teaugue over to LT get a new quality center and a RT for our young qb and rb. Im waiting for the shots.... but let me know what you think of the idea?
  18. There is no need to panick if we gave a pick with Henry we are essentially giving him away and acquiring a player with a pick I wouldnt bite on it. I know I will get slack for this but here it goes... Personally I feel we could move Trey to left tackle acquire a center that will be there for many years, I feel this is essential for a new qb and a center to have a good repore for many years. Trade Henry for his value or another area of need. I have no feelings of loss to losing Jennings I do to losing Pat Williams.
  19. I cant see why anyone his high on Jennings hes an inury prone offensive lineman that can be easily replaced. I would definately not tag him because it would cost us way to much in return thats why we are being smarter and trading our RB henry of a former 1st round at less money than what we would waste on jennings. If only there was a way to get rid of the money we are wastin on williams we would be in good shape.
  20. Well if we take the good with the bad... Our offensive line is definately a HUGE drop off from the glory years. However, in my estimate I believe with the exception of NO Bruce Smith type of DE our defense is a level or two better than our defense of the superbowl years and MCgee's returning skills is alot like Taskers.
  21. I couldnt compare the offensive line to the glory years for one we have no KENT HULL at center end of that story.
  22. Think about this for a second.... Bledsoe goes down in injury after his second game of the season to lose his starting job to a second year QB drafted in the 6th round that has won 3 superbowls with a team that was said to need a lot of work when Bledsoe was leading them. Here it is 3 years later and Bledsoe again loses his starting job to second year QB JP Losman but with a team that is said to have a pathetic offense. Personally I have been a Bills fan since 1989. I have watched and rewatched the glory years that only had one thing missing a Superbowl championship. Looking at these tapes once again has reinforced what I already believed. We are not far From another superbowl run. Why? Mcgahee=Thomas Moulds=Reed Evans=Beebe The defens= The defense The special Teams = The special Teams Essentially the only things we need is a TE, And a strong Keith Mckellar type of Back up at RB. I think Losman is the right Choice many might agree and Many might disagree but let me point out Bledsoes flaws that many already knew... Bledsoe cannot do the dumpoff passes, Bledsoe cannot due the backfield screens, Bledsoe cannot elude a sack, Bledsoe only beeat the champions 1 in 6 tries and cannot be counted on in a big game, oh and hes a lock on passer Mould moulds moulds. What Losman brings us believe it or not is a multi dimensional offense. He has the abilty to run boot legs, Qb draws, dump off passes, and screen passes. This type of offense is getting me excited, because it keeps the defense on their heals. Plus I believe that Losman like Brady will be succesful because they are not Lockon QBS throw the ball to the open guy even if hes two feet infront of you, Ive seen Brady do that too many times for 20 plus yards. Plus if nothings open theirs always Losmans feet. Lets get a Back up QB a Good TE and a Third reciever and I think we go too the playoffs easily this year. Maybe I am overly optimistic but I havent been this excited since #7 Flutie took over the offense. Now its #7 Losman.
