I was saying that until I saw the way he was throwing the ball into the wind in Buffalo looked confident in the pocket decent scrambling ability and could be a back up punter as well.

A patriot player clearly touched before being recoevered in the endzone if the Patriot player did not touch the ball it would have been a safety but since they did it was a touchback.

I get so frustrated reading other post seeing people use the word "rebuild" if we fire Dick Jauron. In order to rebuild we would have to have an aging team with overpaid veterans on the decline and we are looking to rebuild it with youth and young talent. Since our team is already one of the youngest in the leaugue with less than a handful of aging veterans we are considered to still be building not already built. If we fired Dick Jaruon we would be reorganizing not rebuilding because our team is still a few peices away from being built. A new coach could be the piece that we need to conclude the building process and enter the winning process. The good news is that with a new coach we could be completely built quicker than we would if we stick with the dick. He is not going to beat the Pats It In stopping short of providing Jauron a vote of confidence, Wilson said he was impressed with how the players haven't given up on the coach. "I don't know why he hasn't had a better record," Wilson said. "He's a heck of a good guy. And the players, I haven't seen them not play hard for him. They have played hard in the wins and the losses. I'm optimistic about our future." would really piss me off if Ralph retained him after going 0-6 in our division. But Ralph's comments concerned meI "in stopping short of providing Jauron a vote of confidence, Wilson said he was impressed with how the players haven't given up on the coach. "I don't know why he hasn't had a better record," Wilson said. "He's a heck of a good guy. And the players, I haven't seen them not play hard for him. They have played hard in the wins and the losses. I'm optimistic about our future." The qupte he has in bold makes me beleive no matter what hes back next year because Ralph doesnt know waht a loser looks like and Jauron is the pure definition of one!

RJ left bufflo and got a superbowl ring( not on his own doing I know be he has one), Flutie left buffalo and went to the pats in hopes of a ring and fell short no pun intended. JP will do good in the right offensive system. He has the tools just needs some VETERAN guidance and EXPERIENCED coaching to improve. I know 60-80% will mostlikely disagree with me But over thae games he has played he has improved in alot of areas it just hasnt shown in the wins. Though we all seem to forget the Drew Bledsoes and Peyton Mannings first 16 starting EVERY SINGLE GAME STRAIGHT not in pieces had a record of 3-13 and these QBS were not truly handcuffed as JP was and allowed to make the mistakes and learn from them. I actually wish him well and hope that he proves all the naysayers on this board wrong unlike RJ and Flutie I actually believe he can.

The Sad State of the Bills and the NFL.
Poeticlaw replied to Justice's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am sorry to have a differnt opion than you But the salry cap is the shared revenue that each team receives it is not the NFLs fault that the BIlls will not spend the entire cap on its players and if I was the NFL I would pull back any of the money allocated to these team that are not used and deduct the amount for the next season for teams that go over the salary cap. If the Buffalo Bills want to mainitain the lowest $ per ticket in one of the NFL most seated stadiums that his is perogative. He Ralph wilson wants a self imposed coaches salary cap that again is his pererogotive. However, Its the Free agents the good coaches that sell out every stadium and play well enough to get to the playoffs and additional playoff games hopefully at home which in turn genreates more income. This is not the MLB where the ticket sales pays the players saleries its the shared revenue that pays the saleries so teams should be trying to put the best product on the field to produce sell-outs in their stadiums, increase corporate sponsorship and other team genreated sales such as merchandise. The bills biggest problem is they cannot move their merchandise like the days of the superbowl runs because nobody knows if this player is going to be on the team oe not the best selling Jersey since the kelly days was drew bledsoe. If anyone is to blame for the woes of the Buffalo Bills its the Owner of the Buffalo Bills. -
Poll: Bills Best Coach Since Marv Levy

Where is the none of the above button!!!! I vote for none of the above -
To me a #1 receiver is the receiver you count on to make the catches and plays especially in the clutch and move the chains. # 1 receiver doesnt neccessarily have to be the leader in Yards but should be a leader in receptions and moving the chains. A # 1 receiver should be ranked in the # 32 in receptions (becuase there is 32 Teams) Lee Evans is not a # 1 receiver hes a deep threat reciver but he cannot be counted on in a possesion game and is not worth 9 Mil a year Josh Reed who is really nothing more than a slot reciever and a very good one at that he proved that from year one on this team. He has been more of a #1 receiever than our official #1. Josh reed is ranked 46 in receptions with 54 Catches Lee Evans is ranked 36 in receptions with 58 Catches Since Josh averages 6 catches per game and and Lee averages 3 there is a good chance that Josh will have more receptions than lee evans and these are important catches first down catches moving the chain catches while 90% of Lees catches comes from a deep ball which is why he has more yards I dont think thats worth 9 Mil a year. I don want to hear about double teams I have seen plenty of recievers catch balls in double temas it seems that Lee cannot even catch the ball when hes in single coverage its only when he has no one areound him to interfere with his catching. Dont mean to bust up on our so called star player but hes not a fit for this offensive system and since he is not a fit for this offensive sytem he should not have been paid 9 mil a year we paid that to Eric moulds and he average more than 80 catches a year and was good for moving the chains no just the deep ball. I apologize if I offend anyone but this is the reality I see this team overpaying for talent that doesnt fit our system.

So lets get this right we got the big disappointment in James Hardy when we could have drafted Eddie Royal and had a true #2 receiver man this scouting department is great -

Now That We Pretty Much Know Zero Changes Coming
Poeticlaw replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The only signing that would get the fans exicited in the off season is Albert haynesworth i dont even think the rest of it would matter Just knowing that the middle of the defense would be able to get pressure up the middle would make the DE and CBS all that much better Just thinking about makes me feel a little bit better after all I have heard the coaches state waht makes the Tamp 2 work is pressure up the middle. -
Someone Tell me How can a coah keep his job if hes...
Poeticlaw replied to Poeticlaw's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah the one where they blame it on his concussion. -
This trade is not realistic Dallas signed him to a 5 year 45 million dollar contract you think they are going to eat the money the paid him and put a huge dent in their salary cap becasue of dead money. We should have traded with detroit first he would have been a good fit for edwards.

Regardless what the players think of him 0-6 in your divison in your third year as a head coach with the team should be a gimme firing what possible reasons could Ralph justify keeping someone who is 0-6 in the division when 4 of the losses came against teams that had a worse record than your team the previous year. Please someone tell me

Unlike 2003 the team built for a Superbowl run and had a Failure at OC in Gilbride and the Decision based on the guy who brought him in TD this year bears some of the seam resemblances to the end of the tenure of Williams... Both coaches had high expectations of a serious playoff run-GW failed Miserably by not even getting started and DJ faile miserably by getting of the the hot strat required to acheive the next step but failed to achieve it. Both coaches were loved by their players and played hard for their coaches. While GW players quit on him completely the final two games DJ appears to have had atleast one last game where people think they played hard personally I think trent was playing for his JOB. Both coaches were expected to be extended based on the fact they did not want to disrupt the organization or blow up the team based on new coaches- GW ultimate demise was that he wasnt willing to FIRE GILBRIDE. DJ will have to make changes to stay and is beleved to already have an extension unlike GW and is still players away form a serious push for the playoffs unlike GW - Therefore if DJ makes the changes required he will mostlikely be retained for another year but the offical announcenet of the 3 extenstion will be made but only Ralph and the front office will know about playoffs or bust for DJ Both coaches met with Ralph at season end we know how GW ended-DJ likes bing a head coach and politically correct and a yes man for ralph and wil do whatever raplh says he needs to do to keep his job. The biggest thing here is the PATS beat us 31-0 in the final game of the season in complete irony of the first game of the season score. The pats annilated us with revenge. This season the Pats look to annilate us in securing the rightfl spot in the Playoffs. We will Lose bigger than we did then because not only would we lose to the pats and go 0-6 in the division finsh dead last in our division who was beat out by teams like the jets who finished 4-12 last season and the Dolphins who finished 1-15 last season we stayed the course at 7-9 but going from 2 to last and worst of all retaing the same coach for atleast another year

Good question but all is correct with the exception of who will it be out of the AFC West and the AFC north could be based on Record or placement 4th place plays 4th placed team. http://www.billsdaily.com/schedule/opponents.shtml

Just curious on the thoughts here Personally I would Fire him- Ralph on the other hand will try and make him quit or set a goal for next season thats to be reached or hes fired!

So if Jauron is Here lets predict next season wins in bold I see 5-11 as well and FIRED at the end of the season
