More of a rant than anything! Everyones upset we cannot land big names in Buffalo. Why should they come here? Not the city but the orginazation? Do we have a coach that Free agents want to play for? Do we have a coach who knows how to win games? Have we had more than 1 winning season in the last 10 years? Do we retain our star players or do we let them go? Are we willing to pay the money they deserve to play here? This is the reason we dont get better and the reson why we get worse than our divisional Rivals: NE constantly attracts players becuase they are committed to winning CHAMPIONSHIPS MIA-attracts players because of tradition and warm weather NY Jets- other than the fact they pay their players I dont know why they would go there. Buff- Winning philosphy-concedes division to the PATS and hopes they can make it in thru the wild card each and every season!!!Releases, trades or refuses to resign any of their top teir players. Plus its cold. What does it leave us with 2nd and third tier players getting paid top teir dollar because we are desperate. Sorry i sound so dismal. But the reality is this team doesnt attract free agents unles they are backups who are looking for starting jobs or starters who are being pushed by compettion and might lose their starting job. The only thing we can hope for his lightning in a bottle- grab some players that have some upside to them, fires in thier bellys and hope for a winning season. Otherwise we are going to be the Bengals and Browns and Detroits of the NFL and that would suck for a team that broke out of mediocracy into a being the 2nd best winning record in the NFL of the 90's with 4 straight superbowl teams and everyone wanting to join us. THe more I think about it the MORE I HATED THE TD signing he open Ralphs eyes to the term CAP JAIL and got rid of everyone and refused to "mortgage the future". Because of this we over paying players that shouldnt be paid top dollar and underbid for the players that should be paid top dollar. Would I be upset with any of the possible signings. No cant say I would becasue its the best they are going to do this season because of their inability to attract star players. The only thing I am upset about is we are only this free agency away from being good- Seriously a quality TE, C, G, 2nd possession WR and a LB in Free agency and Draft the rest and I say this team provide the coaches can learn to coach to win would have a solid chance this season. We are not that far off 7-9 with 2nd teir players is pretty good learn how to win half the games against winning teams and this team is 10-6 playoffs or not 10-6 souds really good and will help attract evan better players next season. Sorry for the long post feel free to agree or disagree with my observations.

I understand a majority here dont like him because hes a gunslinging QB whos alwasy looking for the big play. He can be a quality starter in this leaugue in the right system. Buffalo didnt have the right system for him since we are looking for a dink and dunk QB/ a game manager so to speak. Jp wants to make plays either with his arm or his feet. He has improved he just needs more improvement in how to hold the ball in pressure situations. Minnesota seems like a likely spot since they were mentioned as trade parteners last season. The jets could also be a good spot for him as well since they too like the gunslinger. I will go out on a limb here and say this is the one QB we are losing that will comeback and kick us in the butt.

Ok first point pot is illegal blah blah blah- He was parked on the side of a road in his Mercedez that smelled of Pot so the police used the Drug smell to Search the entire car and "charged with three weapons misdemeanors after a loaded 9mm semiautomatic weapon was found in the trunk of his Mercedes-Benz. " THE GUN WAS IN HIS TRUNK!!!!! No proof he was smoking the blunt even if he was Big freakin deal. He mostlikely had the gun in his TRUNK as protection not on his person nor was he portraying thug type behavior. I am white and this whole story sounds of pure racial profiling. Black Men SITTING in a PARKED Mercedez elicits the police to investigate the car SMELLS "POT" in the car and elicits a FULL CAR SEARCH which leads the police to go into a BAG thats in the TRUNK and finds the gun. To me there is no difference between drinking a beer or smoking a blunt except that the government says one is legal and the other is not. Which has been a debatable topic for the last decade or so. Lets me ask this, If it were white men sitting in a parked Mercedez benz do you think it would have elicited a response from the police???? I say no. As far as the hit and run goes I think sevarl things could be an issue with that one, to me it seems he was taking the fall for another driver of the vehichle who would have gotten in more trouble then him and he took the wrap, specualtion. But if we go on fact of his admission maybe he was under the influence of "pot" didnt realize he hit a person and didnt know what he should do when he found out he did. There is no differnce in my mind of being DUI of alchohol or pot but the creater of this post would like us to think less of him and get rid of him because hes in his early 20's and smokes pot. Sorry he has not done anything thug like to desrve to be booted of this team. HE is a freaking truck now if he was to do something a 3rd time then we can address it then until then theres nothing to discuss. Have some intervention and give him some mentorship and look forward to the beast next season. HE is not going to be suspended more than a game if any next season. He wasnt involved in CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR he was sitting in his car!!!

You know we should all write the Commisioner let him know that his team got it wrong becuase the AFL teams are celebrating their 50 th season prematurely. If founded in 1959 and we are not celebrating the 50th anniversary of its founding but the 50th season of its existence then Next year would be the 50th season since the first season was played in 1960. Someones got to make the correction here. Side note: I like the Raiders and Pats 50 th patches better than ours thus far.

I think it brings insurance for the running back position and I also think it brings in veteran leadership to the running game. I have also wondered how things would pan out. Would that lead to a trade of lynch? or are they really doing a way with the full back and start using to RB formations that can be either pass or run? Is it possible we might be losing Fast freddie? As far as i have heard and its pure specualtion I guarnetted nothing on what i am about to say but there is belief that Washington is better on special teeams then Jenkins but one could also specualte coming form the Pats maybe we could get some offense info to aid our defense. doubtful but possible.

As bad as the names are that you have mentioned are to the fan base. We would have to obtain the replacement talent first. For example Larry Tripplet was released on 2/29/08 as a precusor to the Marcus Stroud trade of 3/1/08. There still might be reason is the front office, the could be examing trades for players their own and other teams. Im quite sure they would like any type of compesation for a first round bust over out right release. The team has plenty of cap space that releases are not imminent. Some might be released after acquistion of Free agents or after acquistion of Draft Picks. As much as we detest the play and the salary of the aforementioned players they are still the best we have (with the exception of Mccargo who still has slight potential left) so therefore have pateince until the calvary arrives

Mine would be from the same superbowl but a differnt play we had a 13-6 lead and received the kick to start the second half the bal is handed off to Thurman thomas and he fumbles the ball and our chance of winning the superbowl and he was benched for the rest of the game.

Center, I have been saying for the last 9 years the biggest problem on that offense line is the general of that line. We have not gotten one yet. An intelligent center will make this line that much better. Im tired of seeing other teams like the pats have soo much time to pass the ball with out much of a running game.

I dont think you can look purely at stats. Didnt the defense improve greatly this season? Wasnt the opposing offense on the field less than in previous years? Didnt we have a better run defense where the safety doesnt need to make the tackle? Just a few things too look at.
