Under Jauron I see only see us winning the ones in bold. 4-12 Take Jauron out of the equation a couple of up grades 9-7 or 10-6

If you make a change like that your setting the team back years. You want someone to come in with knowledge of your sytem to maintian the continuity and make slow changes while bringing in an OC to spark the offensive side of the ball. Im not looking t rebuild and hopefully your not eihter bu by scratching and entire defensive system you set us back look what Greggo did when he got here he scratched our 3-4 and his first year we were 3-13 no thank you.

He is coaching a 3-4 in SD right now expaning his defensive base. MAybe he can play 4-3/3-4 like the Pats do.

How can you not be impressed with a def that gave up 788 points over 3 years 331 of those in the first leaving an average of 228.5 for his last 2. He has also done a good job with the turn around of the SD defense this season afte cottrell was fired.

The best our offense was was when jim kelly was there and it was a DEFENSIVE HEAD COACH I dont think it matters but Defensive head coaches have a tendact to better than Offensive cordinators the two best teams in the AFC the Colts and PATS have Defensive cordinators as head coaches and explosive offenses so I strongly disagree with your theory!

Missing the playoffs would suck but if we missed the playoffs at 11-5 you know we did our part to get in there were just 6 teams better than we were. I believe most of would be estactic with that record and let down we didnt make it in.

For those of you looking for some continuty he does run the tampa cover 2 system he has done an excellent Job in chicago and imprving the Defense in SD this year once cottrell got fired. I know, as well as most of us should Ralph is not going to spend the money we need to get a proven coach if he lets Jauron GO he maintains continuity on the defensivie side of the ball whcih showed staistical improvment bu Bringing in Rivera So all he has to do is replace the offensive cordinators Job and I think he might be our diamond in the rough. I only blame Jauron I don think he is HC material but when mentioned in the AP about a discussion with Ralph he was quoted as saying he didnt understand why he didnt have better record, his players play hard and doesnot see when they didnt play hard and that he was OPTIMISTIC about the future. Outside of that I dont know how anyone else feels about him but it was Adam schefter (sp) who reported not once but twice that Jauron signed an extenstion. To me personally thats like a law coming out of his mouth I have never known him to be wrong on anything he was reporting as a fact.

Lets look at this rationally now. All the NFL experts at this time of season are always talking up as much as possible coaches that are out, will be out or on their way out, They give us every tidbid of information they can dig up to keep us thinking and talikng about it. I watched the coaches hot seat this morning on MIKE and MIKE and of course Mort was their to talk about them all including Wade Phillips. There was not one single ioda mentioned in regards to Buffalo, Ralph wilson, JAuron or and upcoming meetings of the two to decide their future. I am really starting to believe there is the three year extensition. Jauron will be here next year and the will bring in an OC from outside the orgnization, Ralph believes in continuity and will also agree to adding some more talent to the team and he will give him another shot next season. Thats the bad news. The other bad news is next season based on the schedule it looks like 5-11 season and the good news will be Ralph will fire him then On the bright side maybe he only needs one more year a real OC and a few more players to put it together then agin what was I thinking their is no way to remain optimistic with him returning as HC next season

He signed a 3year extenstion. Ralph likes him doesnt understand why his record isnt better than it is, the players play hard for him, the team doesnt have the talent to win, Ralph is too checap to eat 3 years maybe 2 but not three. He is still goingt o be our head coach next season We will have a new OC next season and we should be able to get some "talented Players" then if we dont improve he will fire him. Ralph is good at getting people to quit but Jauron wont quit. Sorry... I hate this reality too

let em tell you I dont listen to your local announcers I live in NE. I have not been happy with the pick of Jauron since the beginning. I gave him a shot he had 3 years to prove himself. Yes his recortd is a model of consitnecy 7-9 boy love to keep that record going. But the facts are pain and simple he had a 5-1 start to the season, he is 0-6 in his division and he didnt beat a single team witha winning record at the end of the season. To me that is a major decline considering last year he was 4-2 in the division and got at least 1 win agains a team with a winning record. Dick is a yes amn and a softy. Buffalo is suppose to be hard nosed football the reason for me being a fan I loved the toughness of them, playing in all tyoes of weather conditions and usually coming out on the rights side of things. We need a coach that wil bring an idenity to this team. JAURON IS NOT IT PERIOD

JUST SAY NO!!!! Mangini has proven to be a whiner and a baby calling out the mentor for beating his but by stealing plays wah wah. Mangini cannot get along with his QBs he was so quick to get rid of pennington the AFC EAST CHAMP QB to bring in a falling star that didnt like him eihter. You think Jauron look sbad on the sidlines do you see his moping face on the sidelines it looks like he wants to cry. Outside of that he has even more issues with game managemnt then Jauron does and maybe you are trying to fool your self but the JEst have better talent than we do so his record is a reflection of that not his ability to coach because if it was based on his coahcing ability the Jets would have won the division and he would still have a job.

I will watch with no expecations, no desires of this is our year, knowing that we will lose to the good teams and beat 90% of the bad teams but looking at the upcoming schedule I know if Jauron is the coach we will be 5-11 so my expectaion of a 7-9 season will be gone but my expectaitions of him being fired by the end of the season increase dramatically!!!!

I am tired of reading comment s hearing comments about the division belonging to the Pats and ouronly way in his the Wildcard. THAT is the mentality of a loser becuase you have to win your division, you HAVE to beat the PATS if you ever plan on getting to another superbowl with any chance of winning it. Get back to the basic goals of a sucsessful football team. First Goall WIN ALL of your home games 8-0 Second goal Win all of your divsional games (3 home 3 Away) Third goal win .500 or better on the road. 4-4 That is a 12-4 record every season with 11-5 being the very least that with the exception of the pats this year gets you in. The problem with this team is that they have a playoff goal and no map to get their because they conceede to the Pats and any dont know how to win against teams that are consistently good like the Colts. Dont know how to win at home and certainly dont know how to win on the road. In order to achieve an overall goal you have to have minor achivable goals as well.

\ The line is in a desperat need for a center the center is the one who calls all the shifts and line audibles. The center is what helps create thos holes. The line with out a true center is 14th in rushing. That measn this line is possibly better than 18 other teams in the leaugue. Get a center and maybe it wil be the top 10. The only thing I was thinking yesterday was how nice would it have been if lynch played. We ran the ball effectively imagime the bruiser/sppedser combo we would have ran all overe them

The NFL format has and always will be WIN YOUR DIVISION AND YOUR IN. They didnt when their division so they are out. the record bares no significance unless you go to a AFC only format play ever team in the AFC twice and the top 12 go Again under this format you could still have a winning team that doesnt make it. They should not change things around for a few anomolys here and there. THere is a reason why you have a division to play in. THey whould be lucky that there is even a wild card spot. the phrase i hate the most: IT IS WHAT IT IS!!!!

1. The team is 0-6 in the division 2. Thanks to Denver losing today the team did not beat ateam with a winning record on the season 3. The cluster F@#* at the end of the first half. 4. Not knowing his players strengths case in point Lindell history over the 40 why didnt we try harder to get in a closer field goal range or better yet get the first down instead of looking like we were setting up field goal range-Happen too many times this season!!!! 5. Doesnt know how to give a BUffalo team a Buffalo weather Identity-We should not be losing at home in DECEMBER PERIOD!!!!! 6/ a 1-15 team last year is the AfC East champs and #3 seed a team we beat twice last year and were beatable twice this year but failed to do so and because Ralph hates the dolphins 7 the Jets were 4-12 last year and finshed 9-7 this year and looked beatable twice this season but failed 8- The patriots were bradyless this season which meant our goal should have been the division champs that we concede every year to the pats and they were beatable in both games this season 9-Third straight year of being 7-9 only and only winning against teams that are .500 and below 10. I dont believe in the play not to lose philosphy- how absurd is that we play to win the damn games period!!!!! I dont beleive in the bend dont break defense. Dicatate the damn tempo of the games put their offense in the position to make mistakes we puts our defense in the postion to make plays. We dont need continuity we need a coach that motivates players to win. Knows how to make adjustments during the game. Understands the importance of winning. We need someone who can set a fire under these guys what took place at the end of the first half was by far the most pathetic display i have ever seen by this team. Sorry but I saw nothing impressive of him for him to remai a starter after this season if this was his audition for next season he has relegated himself as back up only. NOW Lets get us a TRUE center no more of these converted lineman

The best thing is that Preston and Fowler are both Free agents So the Bills will have to finally address the Center position

Waht makes pats offense that much better than ours they got randy moss we have lee evans bothe deepr threat receivers they have wes welker we have josh reed The have maroney we have lynch they have faulk we have Jackson they might have the edge on TE and Center but other than that comparable the onlly thin in my mind that made theor offense so dangerous was Brady hes not there I now think he would be a better fit for us than Trent especailly because he has had three years of watching and learning from the so called gread brady and seems to be a better fit for a cold weather QB than our current one. Im just putting it out there that he actaully might be worth the look.

Talking to a buddy ( i live in NE) he stated that he was sacked alot in the beginning so I looke it up the first 6 games he was sacked 28 times in 136 pass ateempts or every 4.85 attempt since then he was sacked 19 times in 380 attempts or every 20 pass attempts or boy Tren t was sacked 23 times on 374 attempts or every 16.8 attempts 7tds 6 ints in the first 6 games 14 tds and 5 ints in the final games compared to our 11 tds and 10 ints for our QB. System or not Cassel improved in his second half of his first year starting while Trent regressed in his seconf half of his first/second year starting At this point I think cassel is worth the look in contrast to my original view much like yours.
