What on earth is this madness? If you have the receipts of a guilty verdict why are you holding back? As of today, Trump is not guilty of any crimes. As of today, the same holds true for Joe Biden. That situation may change in the future. Thereafter, it may change again depending on the trajectory of the court system. Be brave now— explain how he is guilty of crimes he is accused of, and why you’re comfortable with “guilty until proven innocent”? What’s funny about an investigation into criminal activity of a VP, based on information received from a source reportedly deemed credible by intelligence officials? What’s funny about 50+ intelligence officials providing a false narrative to influence the election? How would that be different than a foreign agency doing the same thing? Why are you anti-Russia when it comes to election meddling , but pro-meddling when it comes to American intelligence agencies and your guy doing it? Would you acknowledge the obvious hypocrisy in this position? As of today, neither has a criminal conviction, but let’s stay tuned. This is true. Until recently, it didn’t seem Joe Biden had much of anything to do with charities. Trump lost a civil suit, his victim leveraging a temporary change in the law during a time when common sense and reasonable standards were put on hold. We know this because the change in legislation was temporary. Trump may have sexually assaulted the plaintiff, the victim may have made the entire thing up. Who knows? Biden was accused of inappropriately touching women, and acknowledged doing it only after decades of similar behavior. Kamala Harris, his ultimate running mate, said she believed allegations of sexual assault against him, but it seems maybe you didn’t. His admission, and Harris deciding to partner with him, and folks like you supporting him prove one thing—-your system of values is pliable and malleable. In that regard, you’re like everyone else. Did Biden fondle women, and are you ok with him doing so? What about Kamala and her comments? Why would she partner with a guy she believes assaults women? If you judge another’s level of courage by their postings on an internet message board you sir are a lost soul. Next time you think you’re standing alone making a point, yelling at no one in particular “CULT! CULT! CULT!”, look around and see if you’re actually in a large crowd of true believers. Then, consider what the definition of a cult actually is.

I have no idea. There is a whole lifetime in politics before the nomination. I hate the run up, actually despise it because it represents a bunch of people typically lying about one another, a bunch of voters pretending to care about morality issues they clearly don’t care about. Two examples…Trump’s comments about McCain and his POW status were horrible. John McCain was as full of crap as, say Joe Biden, cut from the same cloth, and there was plenty to dislike him for as an R voter. Kamal Harris stated she believed Biden’s accuser who claimed he sexually assaulted her. That, coupled with his acknowledgement that he inappropriately touched a number of women should have disqualified him, but people liked what he offered and onward the process went. Additionally, it would be unwise not to consider the likelihood of a summer surprise, real, imagined or fraudulent. Over the past 8 years, we’ve proceeded to defcon 4, with accusations of fascism, overreach and tyranny, doors getting kicked in and evolving standards of justice, so who knows what comes next?

I’ll look into that aspect of the billion. Are you of the mind the transcript is bogus? Also, with regard to people in the room, that’s fair enough. On the other hand, with the proximity between his son, Ukraine and aid, there is a reason people recuse themselves from such things.

I appreciate your approach and started responding to your comments re: classified material and your time in the Air Force. A quick thought— a review of the transcript of the call between Trump and Zelensky reveals nothing nefarious. In fact, when Trump raises concerns about the former ambassador and the billion-dollar prosecutor, Zelensky seems to be of the same mind and certainly does not push back with the narrative that “everyone agreed he wasn’t good enough”. In retrospect, of course, given the whistleblower allegations it’s certainly plausible that Trump viewed Biden’s actions as sketchy and they probably were. I am always skeptical when “Everyone!” is used in connection with this sort of thing. It’s overly simplistic and begs the question—well, what actions did all those other concerned countries do to force the Uke’s hand and have the guy lose his job? Did they withhold aid, support, or even write a quick message on a post it pad? If the guy was worth freezing the Ukrainian people out of a billion, surely there must be a substantial paper trail detailing allegations of wrongdoing. It’s odd, too, that Joe didn’t mention all that when posturing about the billion. He sure made it sound like it was his call in that video clip. Anyway, I guess it’s probably true that when there is smoke, there is only fire in Republican states. Seriously, nice to have you here.

A buddy of mine was coaching my son’s little league team and decided to try the hard-a$$ approach. He told the kids that if there were any errors in practice, the player who made the error was going to the bench. As luck would have it, a few minutes in my son had a hot shot at shortstop, made a nice play on the ball but his throw to first was down and low and 1st baseman didn’t snag it. “Skin-nerd, hit the bench you redneck son-of-a-b&tch!” and off my son went, devastated and feeling he let the team and his coach down. As assistant coach, in the dugout, my tough little lad tearing up, I whispered rather forcefully “Stop crying, pull it together, it will be fine.” as Dads tend to do. Couple play later, his replacement, probably the best athlete on the team, now in at short, Es on a routine grounder. I watch the coach, he shakes his head and turns away, practice continues, no visit to the bench for the lad. Later on, couple days later, we get talking and the coach says “Lehn, you Gimme Back My Bullets mo’fo, you seemed pretty angry when I pulled your son.”. My response was “No, I wasn’t upset you pulled my son, he’ll be fine and it’s a good life lesson. You’re the head coach and while I thought your plan was extreme, it’s your call. I was angry when Steve bobbled the play and you pretended it didn’t happen. That was poor leadership and bad coaching. You make your bones when the rules apply to every player, especially the leaders.” His response was “You’re absolutely right. I’ll talk to Junior Lehn.” I told him it wasn’t necessary, that it was a great life lesson anyway you sliced it. I did suggest that in the future, maybe the $&@&ing first $&@&ing baseman could get his &&@&ing head out of his $&@& ass and stop worrying about impressing the $&@&ing girls and staring at the $&@&ing clouds in he’d have scooped the $@@&ing ball like a g-d first baseman gets paid to do! Anyway, launching a crusade against people extremely unlikely to slice your head off in retaliation follows the same life lesson imo. It’s pretty soft in the big picture, as those people tend to be. While I have taken some creative liberty with my story, the essence is 100% accurate.

The wild card—Trump had access to our nation’s secrets. What comes next?

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again. This was an unforced error on Trump’s part. Taking Gov Huckabee’s comments into consideration, it was completely predictable that the Biden DOJ would act exactly as it did. It was largely irrelevant that other presidents, senators and members of Congress take classified documents when they leave office. What mattered is the decisions this DOJ would make, what supporters of this Administration would support, and the lengths they would go to eliminate the threat Trump poses to the status quo. It seems he thought the fact that the system allowed for and encouraged presidents to maintain classified information was reason enough to proceed, but he was mistaken. Now that we’re here, it’s time to get out the popcorn and see what comes next.

All I can tell you is what I’ve heard and has been reported…a reliable source used by the FBI reported malfeasance by Biden and ironically, that story pay never saw the light of day until today, with the FBI really, really hesitant to share it as required by law. Let’s see where it goes, but certainly let’s not pretend this is a figment of one’s imagination. Either way is fine with me.

Zelensky agreed with him about the prosecutor Biden had removed under threat of aid being withheld, agreed the former ambassador was corrupt, and agreed to work toward better relations and reduced corruption. It was cordial and respectful. To be blunt, it's preposterous and laughable that you would cite treatment of a "political opponent" as some sort of moral benchmark. Your people accused Trump of treason, illegitimacy, and so much more, you ran a Gossip Girls takedown of Brett Kavanaugh and sincerely, you should consider cleaning up your own house before you worry about someone else's. As it stands now, I'd think similar calls are made during high stakes elections, and there is a difference between asking for a review/recount and suggesting voted be fraudulently created. In fact, Al Gore back in the day asking for a reinterpretation of votes that were cast seems much more in line with what happened in Georgia. A recap of the call clearly indicated Trump viewed something nefarious going on there. Right now, I'd say it's a maybe that he broke a law, though probably unintentionally and only when viewed through a hostile lens. An old adage occurs to me here...Physician, heal thyself. I, of course, would have no idea what other presidents may/may not have done. I’m an end user, like you, and know only what is reported, leaked or insinuated. We both know, generally, that blind trust in government/media is a very bad idea. The only disagreement comes when your team is in power, or my team holds the upper hand, and which media outlets we prefer. Here’s the liberal response in order: It was only Trump who did this obviously. No President never did nothing like this. It was only Trump and DOJ personnel literally had to go and find the documents because he wasn’t responsive. Oh, yeah, I mean, sure maybe it wasn’t only Trump but Biden didn’t know he had material secreted away in his office because someone else did it, and they’re not at fault either. Oh, sure, the problem was discovered before the midterms and news not released until after all the voting was in. These are confusing times and Biden in his zeal to make things right probably just forgot about the election cycle. Oh yeah, well sure it turns out Biden had classified documents in multiple places, he was victimized by multiple individuals over multiple years including probably 3 or 4 Penske drivers. Plus he told the DOJ about the material he held in secrecy for many, many years and they came and got it…end of story. Well, sure, yeah the DOJ actually found more documents that he and his team had turned over, in a separate location, that he and his team hadn’t found first. That happens when you don’t know where documents are—who would have thought they would be in the freaking garage??? That’s not on him, or anyone really.

In fairness, the other day I quoted directly from Mueller and the response seemed imply that he didn’t mean what he said, that he only said it because he couldn’t say anything else, and that when you’re trying to reach a predetermined conclusion sometimes the facts don’t cooperate.

Of course it makes very little sense that Biden is a victim of a series of unfortunate events spanning his various roles in government, likely with a multitude of different personnel involved, and classified documents held at multiple locations. That he spoke about this very sort of instance prior to the documents being discovered implies it was top of mind, and certainly his feigned ignorance of wrongdoing is laughable. It’s fun though to watch true Biden acolytes thread the needle, especially where the garage/corvette is concerned. The image of a pretentious narcissist who cared more about his dopey car than national secrets says an awful lot about his state of mind. Anyway, that said, the key to finding the truth here is for the SC to investigate, find out who the people are that Biden and his legal team suggests are responsible for this critical lapse, consider charges against them and see what shakes out. Someone, somewhere f@cked up, and the list of people responsible has to be very short given the nature of the job and the people they worked for. Sadly, that won’t happen because as it has been suggested, just about every President from Reagan on—and likely every high ranking Senator or Congressman—would be similarly exposed by a deep dive into this.
