  1. Yes! Debate is healthy, though based on the thoughts Sect shared with me after seeking me out, I'm not sure conversing with me is good for him. He seems agitated, mostly, and a bit forgetful. I reserve the right to verbose the **** out of this motha.
  2. Frankish posted thoughts on an issue. I replied to Frankish. You took the time to read what I wrote, pressed the quote button to reply directly to me, and offered a soliloquy of sorts on how you felt. You can call it something else, but it seems awfully seeky to me. 🤷‍♂️ Thanks for the additional feedback though.
  3. You get a special Smiley face pin today, that's for sure. Here it is: 🤪 I am very, very proud of you.
  4. Sure, in a perfect world, that would be the goal. Justice would still be blind, though, and at least according to Frank, maybe this action would not have been forthcoming. You may benefit from a conversation with him. I would counsel against attempting to gain clarity from Tibsy, he's all over the page on this one. There's also the harsh reality that not everyone is treated equally in these political squabbles. The party in power often flexes its muscles on behalf of some (Eliot Spitzer comes to mind), while targeting others with extreme prejudice. We can pretend it doesn't happen, but it does, so it seems silly not to acknowledge it.
  5. It was Frankisheses comments about the political nature of the action that got all this started, Tibsy, not me. You went from real estate valuations to some crazy riff about Abraham Lincoln and slavery, then abandoned that craziness to land on someone doing 38 in a 35. As far as how the world works---yes, Hayseed, that's how things work in NYC! And yet..here you are, seeking me out.
  6. You may have an issue with Frankish and his perspective, that’s best directed to him, unless he is you, in which case you can tell yourself. As for status, the reputation of NYC as shining beacon of financial salvation simply doesn’t exist. That’s due in part to financial shenanigans by individuals, corporations, unions alike, but is exacerbated by insider deals, politicians on the take, and pay for play. Believe it, don’t, it’s just the way it is.
  7. I already knew where you stand, Tibsy. But kudos to you for having the audacity to comparing real estate valuations and rickety public officials to slavery. It’s crazy. It’s nutty. It’s completely preposterous, but it’s all you.
  8. See, again, there you go. The govt is supposed to wear the white hat Frank, and in many cases that’s not what happens. This is classic NYS political maneuvering, and one would argue playing around the edges is what passes for “…accepted business practices…” in that venue. In other words, people get paid to push things through, people look the other way, and that’s just NY. Consider the most recent long line of AGs and “Where are they now?”’ Cuomo Schneiderman Spitzer It’s ok to state you’re ok with this sort of politicking when you don’t like the defendant, but egregious if you do. ⚖️
  9. Come on John, he’s an incredibly wealthy guy who’s been a government lifer, with incredible wealth visited upon his immediate family members. He’s a guy who if he wasn’t in office is exactly the sort of fat cat using the tax code to duck his fair share. Remember John the hated folks these days are millionaires and billionaires.
  10. “No, Mr. President, we’re the UAW, and Jimmy Hoffa has been dead since 1975.”
  11. I just think we need to remember a rising tide lifts all boats. Let ‘em talk, they’re two of the biggest names in politics these days.
  12. I can help. Jacksonville. Sun. Dangerous. Hot af. Girls in bikinis. Then I got distracted.
  13. Welcome back Jim--and I am very sorry to hear about your loss. Here's to Mary!
  14. Tibsy with his bestie. Not certain who is whom, whom is who, or whom is whom.
  15. They need to keep chipping away against the Biden legacy, like Andy Dufrene is Shawshank. He is to blame.
  16. “Isn’t evidence of wrongdoing really just evidence…of doing?” Matthew McConaughey, Philosopher, Actor, Driver of Buicks
  17. I'm just providing facts here, and your mean and hurtful words only encourage me to enlighten and empower you with knowledge. Stay strong for Venezula. ✊
  18. Leisure time. Hoping to carve some time out in my shop, gotta help my son with some plumbing issues at a rental he owns, then maybe Olive Garden for a whole meal of food.
  19. Joe Biden has been one of the principal architects of our border policy for decades. That's not speculation, nor is it inflammatory, it's just a fact. But feel free to blurt out "Venezula" as necessary to add to the dialogue.
  20. Sadly, I think it's likely that you're in your living room, your hand way, way up, an empty bottle or two of Old Grand Dad at your feet as you look around to see who else has taken your imaginary poll. Let me know what the final tally is.
  21. Perpetual enablement of leaders like Biden by people like you is one major reason that people are victimized repeatedly approaching, crossing, and fleeing from the border. Btw, to get ahead of your silliness, I want to proactively declare you are wrong for suggesting Trump was responsible for the War of 1812, the 1918 Spanish Flu pandemic, the Great Depression, das Hindenburg and Teletubbies.
  22. I think it’s interesting how liberals are against aggressive police tactics, unreasonably harsh and punitive sentencing/incarceration, returning offenders to the street and generally support restorative justice, but cheer aggressive police tactics, harsh and punitive sentencing/incarceration and nary a word about restorative justice in sight. You’re a complicated bunch, to be sure.
