  1. Interestingly, in another thread, you went out of your way to point out that not all Palestinians were Hamas. Last night, Biden reminded Americans to be mindful of Islamophobia. Yet here we are, a few short minutes later, making broad characterization about millions of Americans on basis of an anonymous calls that could be from Trump supporters, Biden supporters, high school kids or maybe even Russians. The fact is this could be anyone from The most fervent Trumper to Jussie Smollette to Boris Badenov.
  2. So, it was ok to have an election denier and misinformation specialist with a d next to his name, but it’s a national crisis if the next guy has an r next to his? Gee, I wonder why confidence in congress is at historic lows.
  3. I think you’re right here, on hot button issues, you have to consider the agenda of those telling the story. This is one of the reasons we should acknowledge relying on the notion of a free and independent press brings with it certain…obstacles. I never liked the “…enemy of the people” word track, but certainly believe at times the press is the enemy of truth. Welcome back, Mr. Kottierrrrre… Glad you’re ok.
  4. I’ll tackle this. I’ll go out on a limb and predict that you do not go around in life using the King’s English, precise with words and meanings, taking care to ensure that each and every word limits interpretation to whatever dictionary you choose to site. I’m going to take it one step further and tell you I have used the phrase “Hey, do me a favor….” and what follows does not actually reflect a favor in any way, shape or form. It’s actually pretty common at work, and I have used that expression when directing an employee to complete employment related tasks. I’d bet Joe Biden has used it, and doesn’t always actually mean “come on, man” to signify his demand that a person (male or female) physically reduce the distance between he and thee. I believe the word used to describe a word or phrase used informal is “colloquialism”. As for asking for dirt on a political adversary, do me a favor and come on, man! That’s an everyday thing and you know it.
  5. Perhaps he should consider offering his services and expertise to Israel, or the Palestinians. Common sense suggests there should a path to peaceful coexistence, but we’re talking about hostilities dating back to the beginning of time. And for whatever it matters, one of the common complaints from conservatives, liberals and independents alike is that there isn’t any significant pushback and oversight mechanism in government generally.
  6. We have reached the point where an allegedly homely lawyer in the big city and a stunningly handsome, charismatic and handsome (it should be said, twice) board member meet at the intersection of Truth and Reality.
  7. I think all voices should be heard, but he’s not offering anything with respect to solutions.
  8. Seems fair enough, though most of the conversations on this board involve someone jumping to conclusions one way or the other.
  9. I agreed with that perspective on 1/6, and every day since. I do think all pretense of restorative justice with an eye toward rehabilitation has gone out the window and been replaced with good old fashioned skull thumping punitive justice, but that’s a different subject. That’s not what I was referring to, I was referring to the assault on law enforcement officers by protestors, which is most assuredly different than passing through security, to the best of their knowledge of course.
  10. The quote from Rust Prpductions is that all this is “Burdensome”? What a tone deaf statement. The movie set sounds as if it was a complete clusterf&ck, live ammunition and all, with not rhyme of reason as to who pointed what at whom. “Burdensome” seems appropriate when the catering company takes a wrong turn and lunch is late. Or when the union calls for a 2 hour shut down for procedural matters. When a lady gets shot dead during a staged production of fictional events, it seems way past that.
  11. Physically assaulting officers is acceptable if one passes through security, to the best of their knowledge of course? Is that called slippage, too? What a strange land we live in.
  12. I bet the citizens of Ukraine who have been victimized by the war on Biden’s watch would love to revisit the old days of Trump, when Putin, interestingly stayed home. On the other hand lots and lots of money changing hands on the Biden watch, so there are winners too.
  13. No, I don’t think I’ll do that. I will add that in the dem version of 1/6, while Tibs and John would be outside wandering the halls looking for the speaker office to take selfies, I think you would go full Shaaman or worse.
  14. He helped convince a whole generation of numbnuts that Trump was a Russian plant, and to blindly support the politicization that followed. Here’s the truth-you’re MAGA minded but you just don’t know it.
  15. Has Hakeem Jeffries acknowledged misleading the country on his absurd claims that Trump was an illegitimate President? Who cares? The dems took election denialism mainstream in a way not seen since Joseph McCarthy. Trump went from there. Completely predictable.
  16. Sir, I get it completely. You are completely and demonstrably in favor of election misinformation, election interference, allegations of treason and persecution as long as the outcome suits your world view. In that regard, you're MAGA by another name, but if it helps you to get through the day completely ignoring the reality of Trump's time in office, do what you must. What came in 2020 followed the pattern set by Jeffries and the democrats in 2016-2019. It's nothing new, really.
  17. No, he spread election disinformation, cast doubt upon free and fair elections long before Trump ever thought of it. But, he’s your guy, so….
  18. Election denier Jeffries, Tibsy. Pay attention… https://www.foxnews.com/politics/rnc-blasts-election-denier-hakeem-jeffries-moments-he-wins-democrat-leadership
  19. Again with the testicles. What’s that all about? Anyway, no need to be dishonest here, I responded to your initial inquiry about Kushner, the Saudi’s and our US government’s deep and abiding partnership with the Saudis. What else is there to say? https://www.state.gov/united-states-saudi-arabia-relationship-eight-decades-of-partnership/ When you’re all busted up and protesting JKush, are you upset about 3M, IBM, Boeing and the Holiday Inn? https://www.the-saudi.net/business-center/links-usa.htm
  20. Yes, you’re closed minded. Thank you. If some day, you decide to look beyond the end of your own nose, there’s a whole lot out there for you to see.
  21. You need to look in a mirror, Tibsy. I know you thought it was hunky dory when you voted for people who claimed our ejections were not free, nor fair, nor legitimate, but what followed was near political certainty. In the end, one party of illegitimate elections was swapped for the other. You and the rest of the far left just got the party started.
  22. Someone always feels this way, Tibs. If he makes it, let it settle for a bit. Maybe you’ll be presently surprised and he’ll lead from the middle, even if slightly to the right.
