  1. So they all supported or joked about a violent felony assault perpetrated against the husband of the former Speaker of the House?
  2. Also, how do you know that college students pay more attention to faculty than they do to, say, online videos and podcasts? Because you know you'd land on the previous question. It's nice to have a boogeyman. But it's hard to ignore that Kirk had reach, that he had schlock, and that he might have done the same thing that you're accusing the "lib" professors to have done.
  3. All I did was ask a question. There's nothing partisan about that. Care to answer it?
  4. Same with Kirk. We're cancelling people about that. But why not Pelosi? Is it because he didn't die? Or is it because his viewpoint doesn't align with yours?
  5. Again, you undermine it. And it's interesting that the guy who searches a message board to find quotes about and from Internet randos chastises someone else for an obsession.
  6. Did they get the same from schlock (prove me wrong, based on the assumption that I'm right) from people like Charlie Kirk?
  7. There we go. That's how it works.
  8. Applying JD's logic with respect to the Kirk murder to the Pelosi assault, the answer obviously is yes. What say you?
  9. Likewise in your biased opinion. We agree to disagree. See how this works?
  10. I'm not arguing about the fatties. It's a problem.
  11. They tried to undo 200+ years of law and order. That's pretty bad, too. Which one is worse? From an historical perspective, easily and obviously J6 insurrectionists.
  12. That's the thread. So much for knocking down inflation.
  13. And so you undermine J6. A sitting president tried to overturn the result of a fair election, you feel like it was a nothing burger, and then contend that this problem of political violence that we have in this country now has nothing to do with the fact that the most significant political violence against the Constitution in the history of the republic was whitewashed. You are part of the problem. And is this a bigger problem than some dumb comments about this horrific murder? Indeed it is.
  14. Some of these comments are bad, for sure. Now you can settle down. And practice the same things. Something bad happens, call it out. Like J6.
  15. Who is cheering it here? And, are you cheering on the thought police?
  16. So what is Kilmeade? He suggested killing people. What does that make him? And what about those who want to round up Democrats, or, without evidence, pin this on them? No one is suggesting that the people cheering murder are not entirely, grossly, and deeply in the wrong. But it does seem like there's a little selective outrage, and some selective thought policing, going on here.
  17. So now you're the speech and thought police?
  18. Again, who cares? We're at the thought police stage here. People are getting fired for saying crass and horrible things. Seems like she wasn't supposed to do what she did, and her employer is making her pay the price for it. Such is life. This death seems to be more related to MAGA parents and some pretty crappy parenting than it is to anything to do with the Democratic Party. Of course, it's more related to a lunatic who, at this point, still appears to have acted alone. So save the "commie" nonsense for people who care.
  19. Why is the title relevant? Why isn't it son of gun culture MAGA parents? Are the parents to blame for raising a child who could be so easily manipulated? Or was he just a bad kid? And perhaps should the parents have recognized that such a troubled youth should not be near firearms?
  20. Should the people who celebrated Charlie Kirk's murder be fired from their jobs? If you believe the answer to that is yes, then I have a hard time understanding how this comment can be condoned. Looks like we have a lawyer in our midst here. What, exactly, is the law with respect to that issue? I don't know Brian Kilmeade, and I don't care for his comment. It's dumb. But aren't we getting to a thought police stage here? He said something stupid. He didn't act on it. As far as I know, it's an isolated thing for him. Honestly, who friggin cares. But it's an issue because there are many MAGA who are out to punish anyone who said something stupid, crass, and horrible about the murder of Charlie Kirk.
  21. Always an excuse from you about misbehavior on the right wing. I’m not excusing any of the disgusting reaction to the Kirk assassination. Your selective outrage lead you to gloss over the (admittedly far less pervasive but still toxic) overreaction that seems to have come the modern right. Then why pardon all J6ers?
  22. In turn you whitewash it. Both things can be wrong. Why can’t you just admit as much?
  23. What about the calls to round up Democrats in the immediate aftermath of the murder?
