Bingo. It's a 50-50 deal. I love my Bills, but this is a bad team right now. I am holding out hope that something will click inJ.P.s head, and that the D will start to live up to all of the hype, but my rose colored glasses are fading fast. This D was supposed to dominate. WE cannot expect them to win every game, but right now they are the worst run D in the league, and we can expect better than that Takeo Spikes or not...Oh, I forgot Vick's rushing yards don't count. MM called out WM and he produced. He needs a press conference this week with a laundry list of names, and yes, JP tops the list.

I would have thought Eli Manning was years away last year, but the game I'm watching right now tells a different story. I agree, the playoffs do not look likely, but I'm not ready to kick J.P. to the curb yet. I'm still holding out hope for the game where it clicks. I am as concerned about the "best defense in history" as I am the offense. Fat Pat is missed badly. I wanted to puke when Spikes got injured.

I just voted, and the Ralph is down by two. C'mon, we can do it. I noticed both college matchups are 70-30 with the first team in each at 70%. That sounds like a big who gives a crap, I'll just click on the first one to me. I know that's what I was thinking

It doesn't matter what happens with the hurricane. IMO the oil industry is pushing the limits just to see what they can get away with. The "Oil Industry Experts" have predicted an increase, so an increase we will get. At least they use their media stooges to give us a few days of warning, so we can run quickly and buy more of their product. There is no reason that gas prices should not have already returned to pre-Katrina levels. The only remedy is for Americans to stop buying gas at the rate that we do, but nothing seems to slow us down. Maybe we could go dump a tanker of oil in the Boston harbour. The Boston Oil Party.

I haven't seen a Cleveland game, but the numbers last week were good. Romeo Crenell seems high on the kid. He is available as a FA in my league. I have Joe Horn, Laverneus Coles, Lee Evans, Chris Chambers. Should I go for Edwards? I'm a Bills fan, and I want to keep Evans, but I started him over Horn last week and am still a little ticked!

Actually, they are probably beside themselves with discouragement that the most knowledgeable Bills fan in history has been exiled. I think before we question MM's methods, we need to watch the game Sunday and see how they work. Raise your hand if you were happy with WM. I don't see many hands up. If he handled everything behind the scenes we might get the idea that he is not handling these issues at all. Maybe it's his way of letting the fans know, it's not good enough, and by golly, we're gonna make it better.

This logic never sits well with me. Homerun throwback was a trick play, so it shouldn't count. Vick gets alot of his rushing yardage on plays designed as pass plays, so they don't count. Last I checked there is no rule against trick plays...so they count. Bledsoe is off to an o.k. start, but I dont see the Cowboys as a real contender for the long haul. I try to get Drew out of my head and you just keep pulling him back in.

I like the fact that when others try to sugar coat it and help him out with the "young qb" excuse he pushes it aside and basically says, "No, I dont want to be that guy!" He is very driven, and I think that will lead to great sucess in the long run, but in the short term I think it is part of the problem. His side line tosses were uncatchable out of bounds IMO probably trying too hard to throw it where the defender can't get to it, unfortunately the receiver can't either. He has spent alot of time studying film, working on his mechanics, and I think he has overloaded his head and is thinking too much. He needs to go out there and just play.

Despite my glaring lack of attention to detail, they weren't great in week 1, and they are coming off a loss. Certainly enough to give them some motivation.

Swap a charging Buffalo for a grazing Buffalo, and the throwbacks are the perfect uniform for my viewing pleasure. It would have left me thinking today, "man that game sucked, but they sure looked nice in those unis."

I'm ticked too, but geez, don't slit your wrists or anything. The offense gave me pretty much what I expected today, with the exception of Willis. I thought he would get his yards. The defense just plain hurt my feelings. Maybe instead of being the best defense in the universe they will just settle for playing with some passion each game. They certainly underestimated "Caddilac". No turnovers, no real pressure on Greasy (mis-spelled on purpose). Maybe it was the heat, but Buffalo just wasn't hitting as hard as they have been. Too many easy catches for Tampa's wide receivers.

They played o.k. in the 1st half, but compared to the hype and potential, they did not impress. They looked flat. If you talk big you have to play big, and they talk big. No real pressure, no turnovers. They laid an egg. We knew going in that there would be times they would have to flat out carry the game. I don't know if it was the dreaded Forida heat or what, but todays D couldn't carry guano.
