And, finally, you're wrong, the majority of Americans feel exactly the way I do, as evidenced by the posters on this board. You've painted yourself into a corner, but you don't have to stay there. You don't have to agree with the policies of the current admin and politicians whether or not they are blue or red. It's okay to be critical of polices even if they are from a political party that you vote for. It is our duty as Americans to be critical of our leaders and to question them, regardless if they told us that they represent a party that we have endorsed.

Totally agree. I've worked on jobs with "people not from this country" (I'll just say it that way). They send the majority of their money back home as the USD is stronger than their home currency. Most don't start businesses and basically export their tax dollars to their home country essentially not contributing to the US economy. I understand why they do it, and I don't blame them, but they are not contributing to this country. It's just the way it is, and it's fact.

I completely understand your premise. The healthcare system in this country is completely f'up. It's too focused on profits and disregards the individual, which is bad for the people of this country. The bolded part is, what I think, makes most people upset. We need to be able to take care of ourselves first before we offer those benefits to non-citizens. I don't think it's fair to offer those benefits to non-Americans when Americans like you and me may be struggling. When literally millions of people are getting benefits at our expense while there are over 600,000 homeless Americans in this country not getting the same level of benefits, it's going to rub people the wrong way. Let alone the neglect of the veterans of this county. It's like the old analogy of being on an airplane and something bad happens, you have to put on your oxygen mask before you can help other people, otherwise, you won't be able to help other people. You have to have the capacity to take care of your own first before you can take care of others.

I'm apolitical, but, to answer your question, because it's wrong. I believe that any truly elected politician that are true to their constituents know that hard working people aren't down with that kind of thing. To break it down, it's simply not fair. Not only that, they know that the constituent base realizes that they will have to work harder in order to pay for those programs and pay for those freebies. It's just not right. This is how the middle class is being dismantled and they are not happy about it. An example would be, I don't think it 's right for you to pay for someone else's kid to go to college. It's not fair to you and people are getting fed up, especially when it's taking food off of their table when times are getting tough.

First off, not all of the illegal migrants are Hispanic. Secondly, they haven't been here long enough, nor are they citizens, to see the corruption and see that they are being used to someone else's gain before they are discarded once the are of no use or catch on to being preyed upon. They are also being bribed by being given thousands of dollars, free health care, free travel, and free passes. They probably feel like they owe a vote (which they have no right to do) as a thank you for all of the freebies they receive. Plus, if they keep voting for the politicians that let them commit crimes and get away with it and released within hours, well, why wouldn't they. No accountability, free money, free lodging in luxury hotels, free health care, free to drive, free to commit crime...AND get PAID for it??? Do you really have to ask??

Saw a clip of an interview today from (I think CNN). I forget who was on the segment, but he said that they have rings and steal in NY and then go to FL to sell the goods. When he was asked by the "news anchors" of the show why they don't stay in FL his answer was: because if they steal in FL and get caught they will go to jail. In NY they are released without any repercussions. So they go back to NY, rinse and repeat. Also, those guys that physically attacked those NY cops were released, flipped the cameras the bird, and fled to CA. So they got away with assault and battery against two NY police officers.
