  1. Would you take Thad over Brady? Do you give more credit to Thad than Brady? So tell me your pick, Thad or Brady? Those are your two choices and tell me why you are choosing one over the other.
  2. I really hope you are joking. See, here is the difference between you and me. I'm not discounting him because he is a minority. I'm discounting him because he has no OC experience. We just went down that road with Dorsey and look how that turned out. It's actually a disservice to Thad and somehow you can't see that and instead want to try to spin it into a feel good story. I don't know what else to say to people like you.
  3. First of all, I wasn't addressing you. That's exactly what they did. If you can't see that then I don't know what to tell you. For a woke guy you sure seem to be asleep to me. The guy has zero OC experience. You already answered your own question. You're the one that is doing the "go off about". Wake up man.
  4. You already mentioned someone that is more qualified. Do you really think that Thad is the most qualified minority candidate? C'mon man.
  5. I think it's 2024, not 1824.
  6. It's from wikipeida, so take it for what it's worth, but it states "Rooney himself contends that Tomlin's hiring did not result from the Rule".
  7. I also think it's disingenuous to minority candidates and a slap in the face to know you're only getting an interview based on the color of your skin.
  8. Yup, it was a horrible design. It still ended up being an end zone throw though. Not sure if that was the intent of the design, but either way it was two end zone throws on 2nd and 3rd down.
  9. I absolutely did. When I saw the 2nd down play I knew it was stupid. And then they did it AGAIN! I was watching the clock and just hoping at the very least they burned more clock and got closer for a better shot at a FG in the worst case scenario. It was like watching a slow trainwreck.
  10. If I'm the coach I tell them to play for the first down. At all costs. I'm more concerned with the clock. I tell my QB to not go for the kill shot in the endzone because there is too much time on the clock and I don't have faith in my defense and the Chiefs can score very quickly. I have to play the chess game there. If I can't get a first down in 4 tries with JA, we deserve to lose, but that's how I'm playing it. I already know what can happen in 13 seconds, and again the following year with only 12 seconds, so I'm looking to make a score with 5 seconds or less left on the clock. I want to win, but I would settle for the tie, but I also want to get more yards for my shaky kicker. I would go for a first down there on 4th down if I haven't picked it up. I only kick the field goal if we are at the 15 yard line on 4th down with low time on the clock.
  11. Oh, c'mon. You can do better than that? Are you serious? That's how you coach that? And, you would have lost just like McD did. What a piss poor answer. And you're blaming the players on top of it. Ridiculous!!!
  12. You're the coach. You've been running out the play clock. You're at the 25 yard line. You have a first down with 2:00 left on the clock. What do you do to win the game? How would you play that? Remember, you've been burning clock all drive to keep the ball out of the opponent's hands because you don't trust your defense. What do you do there coach?
  13. No, that's def correct.
  14. For anyone NOT seeing that this is all about coaching in this situational circumstance, it's a classic case of people NOT understanding coaching...
  15. Classic "drought brain". But, but, but...we still have up to 11 years to keep doing the same thing until hopefully it works. Think of how many AFCE championships we could win!
  16. I made a similar post right at the thread merge and it got deleted. I don't understand how you have a game plan for 58 minutes and then abandon it. At that point, you have 4 downs to get 10 yards, that's it. If you are bleeding the clock, you bleed the clock. I can't see JA going "rogue" for 2 plays in a row. It had to be by design. The HC and OC should have been on the same page and had their QB on board as well. Even with a TD there you are giving KC almost 2 minutes with TWO TO's who could move the ball pretty much at will to go for the go ahead score. They should have stuck with the game plan until there were 5 seconds or less on the clock. At that point, you either win or go to OT with a chip shot FG. It's mind boggling and agonizing. Why did McD change the philosophy at the end of the drive? It makes no sense. And, make no mistake about it, that is 100% on him. !00%!! Edited to add: That was a coaching DISASTER!
  17. I've already posted about the titles in a another thread, so I'm not going to reiterate it here. It's not the accomplishment you make it out to be. With how he played Klein, he clearly doesn't trust his young players. The only thing consistent is his D not coming through in the playoffs.
  18. Not sure on that one. I'm only using the computer here. Maybe a long press on his name??
  19. If on a computer, just hover the mouse cursor over his name near his trademark vomit smily and a popup box will appear with the option to ignore him.
  20. Pretty sure we can. That's a good idea. Going to figure that out now.
  21. Yup, was just going to say that it's him and DaBillsFan vomit troller. Although, I don't think anyone has ever seen them in the same place at the same time, so.... Vomit incoming from DaBillsFan in 3...2...1...
  22. Not only that, but with the Reid comparison, wouldn't that mean that McD needs to be fired and have a change of scenery? That Reid argument is so ridiculous.
  23. I forgot that we live in a participation trophy world now. It now makes sense why so many are fine with just winning the AFCE...
  24. A lot of fans have higher expectations than winning the AFC East. With Allen at QB the AFCE title should have been a gimme over the last few years. The pats and jest have been basement dwellers and Miami has only offered any real competition and that's only been over the last 2 years. So, I don't think winning the AFCE has been something to really hang a hat on over the last few years. Prior to Josh, they backed into the playoffs that year on a fluke play and then blew a huge lead in a typical Billsy fashion. But, hey, run it back if that's good enough for you. I don't see anything really changing (except maybe a step back) and a lot of fans have had enough of the same old, same old.
  25. Wait, so you're saying to fire McD?
