  1. Whats the difference between a Harley and a vacuum cleaner? vacuum cleaner only holds ONE dirtbag!
  2. Ya know, I seriously doubt a GM who drafted McGahee when we had a perpetual 1300 yard RB, would look at this pathetic output at QB and not favor the rookie who he drafted in the 1st round and traded up for! I think he is simply saying the right things to the press and the fans. TD doesnt wear rose collored glasses and the McGahee draft pick proves it.
  3. Its great to see our GM will back our staring QB, too bad he is backing the wrong one!
  4. Completely agree ICE. The guys stats this year as on par with Tim Rattays yet idiots here think he is the next Joe Montana! Tim Rattay 78.1 rating, Drew Bleedslow 78.7 rating. Ghee your right TD, Drew is such a stud! Nice try, start the rookie!
  5. I like it. They need a RB and QB, we have extra's at both. We need a young Moulds type, Boldin fits that Bill, And we replace our 1st rounder to be used on the o-line!
  6. Its fun to think about going to the playoffs. But it must be said that Im not happy until we avenge those 4 loses with a SB win. Unfortunately, I dont see this team getting it done with Drew at the helm. Thats why I look to our future and the draft. I want our team that gets there to get there as soon as possible. Yes, its fun though to be talking about the post season instead of the off season
  7. Sorry, but that infamous we must have 4 of the following 5 happen to be in, is just to negative the way I see it. Th easiest way for us to get in is if Den loses 2, Bal loses 2, and Jax lose 1. This is VERY possible! if any of those teams end up 9 and 7 its over for them. Jax will lose to Pitt and be out. Bal will definetely lose to Ind and most likely loses to Pitt. Denver is the one to worry about but the will lose to Ind, and only needs to lose against 1 of there rivals KC or Tenn to be out. If ANY of these teams ends up 10 and 6, they all beat us by the record in the AFC. But by no means is this a sure thing! Im not even looking at Cinn we own our destiny there, if we win they are out and of course if we lose we are out!
  8. The six postseason participants from each conference will be seeded as follows: 1. The division champion with the best record. 2. The division champion with the second-best record. 3. The division champion with the third-best record. 4. The division champion with the fourth-best record. 5. The Wild Card club with the best record. 6. The Wild Card club with the second-best record. The following procedures will be used to break standings ties for postseason playoffs and to determine regular-season schedules. NOTE: Tie games count as one-half win and one-half loss for both clubs. TO BREAK A TIE WITHIN A DIVISION If, at the end of the regular season, two or more clubs in the same division finish with identical won-lost-tied percentages, the following steps will be taken until a champion is determined. Two Clubs 1. Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs). 2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division. 3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games. 4. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference. 5. Strength of victory. 6. Strength of schedule. 7. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed. 8. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed. 9. Best net points in common games. 10. Best net points in all games. 11. Best net touchdowns in all games. Three or More Clubs (Note: If two clubs remain tied after third or other clubs are eliminated during any step, tie breaker reverts to step 1 of the two-club format). 1. Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games among the clubs). TO BREAK A TIE FOR THE WILD-CARD TEAM OR AMONG DIVISION WINNERS If it is necessary to break ties to determine the two Wild-Card clubs from each conference, the following steps will be taken. 1. If the tied clubs are from the same division, apply division tie breaker. 2. If the tied clubs are from different divisions, apply the following steps. Two Clubs 1. Head-to-head, if applicable. 2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference. 3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games, minimum of four. 4. Strength of victory. 5. Strength of schedule. 6. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed. 7. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed. 8. Best net points in conference games. 9. Best net points in all games. 10. Best net touchdowns in all games. 11. Coin toss. Three or More Clubs (Note: If two clubs remain tied after third or other clubs are eliminated, tie breaker reverts to step 1 of applicable two-club format.) 1. Apply division tie breaker to eliminate all but the highest ranked club in each division prior to proceeding to step 2. The original seeding within a division upon application of the division tie breaker remains the same for all subsequent applications of the procedure that are necessary to identify the two Wild-Card participants. 2. Head-to-head sweep. (Applicable only if one club has defeated each of the others or if one club has lost to each of the others.) 3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference. 4. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games, minimum of four. 5. Strength of victory. 6. Strength of schedule. 7. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed. 8. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed. 9. Best net points in conference games. 10. Best net points in all games. 11. Best net touchdowns in all games. 12. Coin toss When the first Wild-Card team has been identified, the procedure is repeated to name the second Wild-Card, i.e., eliminate all but the highest-ranked club in each division prior to proceeding to step 2. In situations where three or more teams from the same division are involved in the procedure, the original seeding of the teams remains the same for subsequent applications of the tie breaker if the top-ranked team in that division qualifies for a Wild-Card berth. OTHER TIE-BREAKING PROCEDURES 1. Only one club advances to the playoffs in any tie-breaking step. Remaining tied clubs revert to the first step of the applicable division or Wild-Card tie breakers. As an example, if two clubs remain tied in any tie-breaker step after all other clubs have been eliminated, the procedure reverts to step one of the two-club format to determine the winner. When one club wins the tie breaker, all other clubs revert to step 1 of the applicable two-club or three-club format. 2. In comparing division and conference records or records against common opponents among tied teams, the best won-lost-tied percentage is the deciding factor since teams may have played an unequal number of games. 3. To determine home-field priority among division titlists, apply Wild-Card tie breakers. 4. To determine home-field priority for Wild-Card qualifiers, apply division tie breakers (if teams are from the same division) or Wild-Card tie breakers (if teams are from different divisions). TIE-BREAKING PROCEDURE FOR DRAFT If two or more clubs are tied in the selection order, the strength-of-schedule tie breaker is applied, subject to the following exceptions for playoff clubs: 1. The Super Bowl winner is last and the Super Bowl loser next-to-last. 2. Any non-Super Bowl playoff club involved in a tie shall be assigned priority within its segment below that of non-playoff clubs and in the order that the playoff clubs exited from the playoffs. Thus, within a tied segment a playoff club that loses in the Wild-Card game will have priority over a playoff club that loses in the Divisional playoff game, which in turn will have priority over a club that loses in the Conference Championship game. If two tied clubs exited the playoffs in the same round, the tie is broken by strength of schedule. If any ties cannot be broken by strength of schedule, the divisional or conference tie breakers, whichever are applicable, are applied. Any ties that still exist are broken by a coin flip.
  9. Indy is a given win for Indy, they still have to play KC and Tenn both of which are rivals! The Bills learned today why they play the games! I by no means count those games as givens for the Broncos coming off a 4 INT game! BTW, the Fins may actually upset them too. I was VERY impressed with Felleys accuracy and command of the pocket against us today! Im telling ya, DEn could easily lose 2 and may lose 3 of these!
  10. A little more info: Bal has INDY AND PITT left! Jax has PITT and GB Cinn has us and NE plus Philly Den has INDY, Mia, Tenn, and KC Seriously, all the other contenders have it pretty rough. We have the easiest schedule out of all of them!
  11. Denver just lost to SD. That puts them at 7 and 5 with KC, IND, and TENN being the notables remaining. They EASILY could lose 1 (IND), and could lose 2 (KC or Tenn). Bal lost to Cinn. They have Pitt, IND being notables. they probably lose both Jax will most likely lose to Pitt, they are 6 and 6 at that point with IND still out there. Cinn won and actually has a shot to go to the playoffs, if we beat them, they are done. That game is there playoff game (and ours). So thats it, we really do have a shot. Cinn becomes a must win, we need some luck, and a BIG win with our playoffs on the line against PITT!!!!! Thank goodness our Defensive let down came against the 2 and 9 Fins!!! If we play our "standard" D, and our past 6 weeks offense the rest of the way, I think we are headed to the playoffs!
  12. Great game. I dont need that every week but a few times a year would be nice. Still a touch concerned about the sacks but we were the walking wounded. Great long throw to Evans, our best WR by the way, like Ive been saying for weeks now! At this rate, we could very well end up in the playoffs. I will absolutely be here eating crow and admitting I was wrong if that happens. I still dont want Drew to start in 2005 though!
  13. BTW, I never said that it was ALL Drews fault, but if you think he deserves NONE of it, or that we are going to EVER go to the playoffs with THAT type of production at the QB spot, you are smoking serious amounts of Stadiumwall!
  14. Lets set the record straight with the stats you left out: Jax game: Drew was 65% cmptl, 1 TD, 1 sack, 1 fumble. Total yards is 153. I would by NO means call that a good game! Oak: Drew was 54% comptl, 1 TD, 1 INT, 6 sacks, Total yards is 198. Passing yards is getting a little more like it but 6 sacks, only 1 td and 1 int? Again not a good game. NE: Drew was 60% cmplt, 1 TD, 1 INT, 7 sacks, 1 FUMBLE, Total yards is 247. Total yards is decent but 7 sacks? again as many TD's as ints? you cant win with that! Thats just the first three games. How many of those sacks does JP get out of with his legs? Should we expect one INT per game from JP, probably so youre not "winning" with Drew there. Can JP manage to average less that 200 yards through the air and 1 TD in those games? probably. Still waiting for the arguement that Drew should be our starting QB. Looks to me that chances are good we add another dimension to our O, get about the same yards/gm, ints/gm, and tds/gm with JP. JP, though cuts that sack total in half most likely and BTW may not have coughed up that critical fumble for a TD against NE! I see him running away from Seymour and getting the rest of the downs to try to score points! How quickly we forget that we play NE twice and the absolutely OWN Drew!
  15. Im glad you like a guy whos as much of a statue in his character as he is on the field! Me on the other hand has watched this team lose 4 SB's, lose the Music City Miracle, and have too many other critical things go for the OTHER team to believe that some non-chalant QB can win on THIS team! I think one of our greastest assets to going to those 4 straight was Kellys fiery hard ass attitude. Losmans CHARACTER is why I like HIM so much! If his play is even just as good as Bleed-slows, he still spanks Bledsoe in the ass like a Catholic kid because of his ATTITUDE! I have a sneaking suspicion that Losmans play is much much better than Drews..at least once he is up and running!
  16. Guys, the facts are all there. As many INTS as TD's. ANY QB in the league has that type of crappy year and you are most likely screwed for the playoffs or more. I say most likely because there is always some low percentage chance that we still go DESPITE Drew. But you just cant look at that crappy production, those crappy numbers, and pay the guy 6 mil next year as our starter. You guys want to dream, all pie in the sky about how even with his crappy play we get to and win a SB with him, fine. Theres a very very slim chance of that and our teams GM wont take that chance! He knows like the rest of us do that Drew is just about shot, his best years are behind him, and at least on THIS team, he will most likely get worse. TD cant justify to ANYONE paying Drew 6 mil next year to play that poorly. ESPECIALLY when he just drafted a QB who he believes is our future and costs us ALOT less! I fully expect more stupid comments like, "why cant we win with Drew" as we beat more of these clown teams and continue our life support for the next few weeks. The truth is, early in the season, we DIDNT win with Drew, in fact, we got SPANKED by our division rivals! Guys, enjoy the good games, enjoy the last hopes that we have, but place some of the blame on why we are here in the first place on our severly over paid QB, Drew Bleed-slow! Id rather lose with a bright future, than win but not go to the playoffs with a fading past!
  17. I dont know about you but im sick of all the college team whining about there BCS position. I sick of all the cry babies complaining about the system and why they arent in the (fill in the blank) bowl. The BCS IS by far, the best way to figure out who is best. Its the most comprehensive tool out there....FOR NOW. Got news for you Auburn or Utah, if you think your so great, get on the field in a playoff system and PROVE IT! Im saying take the top 8 teams and run a 4 game playoff, top prize is the top bowl and the national championship. We will still have whiners at say 9 or 10 but so what, they had control and could have won one more or added to there strength of schedule by scheduling a tougher team. These babies are done with there season like a month and a half before the pros, why? Leave that time for playoffs. BCS + playoffs = Most fair system!
  18. Bring it! Sure, your destroying me now, how quiet you were whne Det was tearing it up. You probably wanted us to take William Joseph instead of McGahee. You probably hate the trade for JP, even though I called it before it happened. You dont like my posts, bite me. Dont read. You sound to me like another heckler in the crowd who likes to yell and scream at people who stand up for what they believe in, but whne the crowd divides and leaves you all alone you pee yourself! I have been here for years, and will continue to be here for years. My calls on the draft are why people listen to me, I am often wrong as far as trades, etc... But I am the first guy to come here and say it. Im sure that something most of you clowns dont have the balls to do! Im not coming here telling you Im wrong about Detroit or JH because Im still not convinced that I am. Harrington is a fiery leader, thats what this team needs. They have built there o-line out of young quality guys. They didnt hesitate to draft a stud WR when they already had one. Guess what, Charles Rogers went down and Roy Williams is playing like a stud! I am internally battling on who the best WR taken was this year. Earlier I would say Roy Williams, as you recall, I wanted the Bills to move up and get him. Now I wonder if Lee Evans was the best pick, I love the speed and hands. Anyways, you dont like the posts, too bad. I have an opinion and am not afraid to state it. If you think the Bills are "all set" with Drew at the helm, I wish you luck with that!
  19. Not sure what the smile is for. Good game? Sure I'll smile to that. Drew taking us to the SB? dont hold your breath. If your a fan who has waited this long for the SB win and just watched us throw 3 INT's your not too happy about our prospects for the playoffs or more. Fun game, fun to watch, but so was Cleveland vs. Cincinatti!
  20. Well said an on the money! I said 6 weeks agao that Evans should be getting the ball a whole lot more. I said a few weeks ago that he's our BEST WR! Guess what, I aint backing down! Moulds continues to go down on the first hit and doesnt get quiet as open as he once did. Evans makes Moulds better! Anyone who thinks a QB who throws that poorly can win a SB for us is seriously smoking Stadium Wall. Aint gonna happen. Last week I took tons of flack for saying that Bledsoe was off the mark on every throw. Well today, the DB's turned around and caught the ball...3 times! Guess what, It aint gonna stop because he is only getting worse! We have just committed the ultimate fluke in winning a game when giving up 3 INT's! This is not our bright future but a desperate grasp at the sinking present!
  21. Yep, I agree...mostly. Too bad our starting QB isnt an up and comer but rather a has-been. Our SB QB hasnt had his first start yet. It will really fell ike 1987 when Losman is our starter!
  22. Im so sick of the low percentage kick to the sidelines where we have to catch it on the bounce. That was genius! Have your guys run ahead of the K after he lightly touches it to form the blocking so he can land on it...! awesome!
  23. very well said and on the money! I am liking Mularkey and staff more and more! The fake QB sneak/TD run by mcGahee...stellar play calling!
  24. If anyone thinks that our starting QB can throw as many TD's as picks and we are a good team is smoking serious Stadium Wall! If anyone thinks you can go and throw 3 int's and NOT lose 80% of those games your are injecting super stadium wall laced with Flutie lover! Nice try, Drew, all you did was prolong the painfull ending for the Bills and your non-effective career here. Furthermore, you managed to further stunt our future QB's growth and tied our fans hearts up for a few more weeks. (Sarcasm on hard core) Good job! Like I have said for weeks now, its Murphy's law again rearing its ugly head. Giving us fans hope that we can go to the playoffs and win. Killing even more playing time for our REAL future with some idiot that has as many TD's as INT's and just threw for 3!!!!! The writing is on the wall, I just hope the Bills end there pain for us and let us move on to something else.
