  1. Absolutely awesome game, studly play by everyone (except Moulds, but hey hes questioning his future with us...at this poitn so are WE). Fine, were up 3 possessions, theres 10+ min left. Give Losman the playing time. Sit Bledslow, he still wont be our future, the game is in the bag, and play Losman!!!
  2. no aka 4everbills an formerlyrj
  3. A damn fine post and no one touches it? (broken arm self back patting-OFF)
  4. still waiting for you to address how a "grumbling" Moulds affects a team trying to rally behind a very young QB with a fiery attitude. Losman needs to be our unquestioned leader and Moulds is....well....questioning everything at this point. How do you reconcile that? You seem to just think that chemistry and leadership is trivial. That you can simply add pro-bowl head cases to any team and they will be better. Why wont you address team chemistry with Losman at the helm and Moulds still here?
  5. because there are teams that are only about a Moulds away from the SB. What I didnt say is that with a productive offense, Moulds is still one of the best in the league. What he DOES do is get tough YAC, makes tough grabs, gets open, and battles for the ball. A team like Seattle would look at it and say paying a 1st rounder for one of the best in the league would put us over the top, is that worth a 1st? sure. This team is headed in a whole new direction and needs to have Evans, not Moulds become our WR stud. Again, Evans is at Losmans level (therefore doesnt have something on Losman to lend credence to him question JP), Evans has the best hands on the team, and is the fastest Bill. Moulds fits many teams equations at this point, just not ours!
  6. All of this talk about Moulds is all well and good but still doesnt address the MAIN issue I have. I cant see a "grumbling" Moulds playing for a rookie QB, letting the QB boss the team around as the new fiery leader, and not undermine him. Maybe Moulds has it in him, maybe after his 5th QB and 10th year, he can continue to keep quiet, be productive, and let his new QB become the leader. Based on him "questioning his future" I dont see him doing that. How could the Bills stand by and let Moulds kill the BEST quality about JP? His fiery leadership? Keeping vets on offense who wont listen to a young guy trying to lead the team and develop a tough mentality and winners attitude is counter-productive at this point. Why dont you answer THAT question? Answer that. What will happen to this team under that scenario?
  7. Im again doing the math here. TD has shown he obviously likes to bring in vets/young-vets to add experience to his team. Takeo, Milloy, Vincent, Fletcher, Villarial, Shaw, Adams, Bledsoe. We are in a critical semi-crisis on this team and TD is going to remove 3 skill players who are vets/young-vets to start 3 extremely green guys? Bledsoe, Moulds, Henry all gone to start Losman, Evans, McGahee? Who will our vets be? This just isnt TD's way of doing things, yet is exactly the right thing to do. Losman- needs to start and we all know it. Heres the comment I made a week or so back about when JP should start: "a 9 and 7 record COULD get us a playoff berth, isnt that right? I know nothing about the head to heads or afc records, etc.... Is it really true that we are now officially out? If its simply record and we COULD go in iwth a 9 and 7 record, we will suffer through maybe even 4 more weeks of Drew. It wont be until we lose our 8th that we are officially out. Thats at least 2 more. If we beat the Rams at home, thats 3 weeks that JP doesnt start. I see no way in hell TD or MM starts JP when we still are mathmatically in it" sure enough, check out the Buffalo Bills web page. All this crap about Bills arent ready to throw in the towel. So, JP will just sit on the sidelines and not start our future for the Bills for even longer. Moulds- I loveth the guy, dont get me wrong, and I dont blame him. He wants a ring. Moulds looks at it like...first it was Collins, then RJ, then Flutie, then RJ, then Bledsoe, and now a rookie in JP? If he wants to go the Terrel Owens route, so be it, I dont blame him. TD needs to let him go. If we can somehow keep him happy and not have him undermine JP becoming our fiery leader, and not pay him 8.5 mil next year, fine. I just dont see it. TD would have to let Moulds go and start a virtual rookie in Evans. Theres evidence that this is a safe bet with Evans's play. But he then has no #2, really. Bledsoe- JP needs to start to start our fture Bills as soon as possible, but in true Bills Murphy law fashion, they will start and play Bleed-slow as long as there is a 0.000001 percent chance that we could make the playoffs, so our future gets put on hold even longer. Next year, JP starts no doubt. So, Drew stays as our backup for 6 mil per? Thats just silly. TD gets to re-invest that 6 mil and draft or sign a cheap backup or hell, keep Mathews as our 2. That 6 mil may mean a Abraham or Walter Jones, yet we keep Drew as a backup? Even the dumbest GM wouldnt do that. So Bledsoe needs to be cut. So, TD, in all reality, is looking at letting 3 vets, at 3 skill positions, and 3 of our supposed stars go at the same time, when what he really wants is to ADD to our experience? He needs to look Ralph in the face and tell him that he just cut Drew after they rolled out the red carpet, traded a 1st rounder, held a party at the stadium? TD may be his own undoing on this one. He may be faced with this critical situation and error on the side of caution. He may very well keep Moulds and or Drew, tie up the cap cash, and have guys who are pretty verbal about their dismay with the team, back-biting our new young fiery leader, Losman, every time he tries to step up and build a tough minded, winners mentality. Maybe it works out and Moulds actually takes a pay cut, gives us cap cash to go shopping, settles for a #2 job, and doesnt ever question JP when he tries to lead. Maybe Drew takes a pay cut, settles for the #2 spot, and embraces a sideline mentor role for JP, but again gives him the lattitude to make mistakes, and try to be the fiery leader when Drew himslef isnt like that. Maybe TD looks at it and says, Im going to gut this team of its vets at skill positions and start my Bills version of the Colts trifecta. Maybe it works out, but with the Bills, its usually Murphy's law! Like I said, the next few months will define the Bills for the next DECADE! If ANY player stunts JP's growth for becoming our fiery leader a.l.a. Manning we can expect more years of pain. Im convinced that JP has all the skills and finally we have the QB with the right mentality for THIS team ( like the second coming of Kelly). Whether good or bad, there will be LOTS of drama folks!
  8. Lately its been the filter for rational thinking, truth, and clarity. No, Im becoming convinced that stadiumwall is the hottest drug out there. Every thing becomes better when your on stadiumwall. Suddenly the Bills are really the Pats and can start 22 mr. irrellevants and win a gazillion super bowls. Suddenly we believe that players who now have a single red bar on their morale window can actually be resigned (Madden 2005 analogy). Ever tried to resign a guy with 1 red bar? Cant be done for 100 mill over 4 years! Im LOL at the converting to islam comment. Im picturing Drew in a turban with a mask over his face, telling of the blood that will run in the streets when the Bills next play the Pats in Foxboro. (sick but kinda funny) Moulds is now a guy who detracts from what we are trying to do. He has now become a guy who question our future when we finally have one. What will he say when JP goes through his on the field learning pains? We need JP to be our fiery leader on O, and our best player is second guessing the team? that just doesnt seem to work for us building a winners mentality.
  9. almost intelligent. Just enough to provoke others to analyze whether its true or not. Whats true, isnt. And whats false, is now true. Have you been smoking some good stadium wall?
  10. huge fan of 2 that are not so heralded. Alyssa Milano Kimberly Williams- (Father of the bride and according to Jim)
  11. So, hes going to take a paycut to help the Bills when he wants out? Yeah that makes sense...Ya know, communism is really a good system too while were at it. Moulds wants out so he takes a pay cut and stays longer...hmm...their apparently is a new form of drug that is more potent than any other, it causes violent hallucinations, where all things that are true are now not and all things that are ludicrous now make sense. This new ultra-crack is called Stadium Wall. Man, you got any stadium wall? no man that sh_t is too expensive. I only get 10 dollars a pop for giving you know what to Eric Moulds. You guys are on serious stadium wall if you think Moulds will take a pay cut to stay when he wants out.
  12. the next Kelly at the helm! I believe thats JP. Seriously, I decided that nothing short of replacements of our studs from the SB years is worthy of being called a Bill. Bleed-slow is a Jill, he aint never gonna be a fiery leader and he aint never getting us a ring. JP/Evans/McGahee- still need to wait and see if they can be the next "Bills" Does JP=Kelly? Evans=Reed? McGahee=Thurman? We still dont have any Woolford, Ballard, or Hull. We need their TRUE replacements. We still dont have Bruce, could it be Abraham? OK, ive said this several times the past few days but not this way: Bledsoe- cut, cap savings ~6mil Moulds- traded, Bills get mid-late 1st, cap savings ~8mil Henry- traded, Bills get 2nd, cap savings ~1.5mil We end up with: 15.5 mil EXTRA cap cash a 1st, and 2nd rounder to go with our 2nd. TRade our 1, and both 2's for a move to top 5 and take Mike Williams WR Use the 15.5 to sign John Abraham (good luck he aint leaving NY) and Walter Jones, Shaun Alexander gets the tag which means Jones can leave.
  13. Obviously you havent been watching how terrible the Bills are with "passive" guys who supposedly prove it on the field. Umm...Todd Collins, RJ, to some degree Flutie, now Bledsoe. Hmm...last QB type to take us to the dance, Fiery type (Kelly); you do the math. JP can prove himself on the field AND in the huddle and locker room! Im sick of QB's who arent "rah rah" guys, who "just try to prove themselves with their play", who are "quiet" leaders. Hows that "quiet" leadership work when your WR just ran the wrong damn route or you got yet another holding penalty to back you out of field goal range with the game on the line? Get real. I have seen to much of this "quiet" leadership and it leads to very quiet fans at RWS. I want swagger, hard ass players who never say die and hold themselves and the rest of their teammates accountable for their play! JP has it, if you remember TD said that the part they like most about him was what you (the reporters) dont like about him. Remember the supposed knock? he was cocky? As much as I thought Jim Kelly was stupid for tell McGuire he was still better than 80% of the QB's in the league 2 years AFTER he retired, I know see how critical it is to have guys who are confident in their abilities and know how to win. Remember Thurman screwing up or Andre and getting blasted by Kelly? This team has NO blaster.
  14. Im sorry but I simply dont see where anything I said even remotely points to me being a moron! If your in love with Moulds, fine. So am I! I simply wont stand for ANY player getting paid 8.5 mil next year, supposedly is our best player, and our leader and yet is having "questions" about his future with this team. Would I love Moulds to stay here until he retires? hell yeah! But NOT if hes going to become a cancer when I believe we may finally have the right kind of players on this team! If Moulds becomes a "grumbler" and kills the hard ass, winners, mentality that Losman may bring to the table, Let him go!
  15. ICE where ya at brother...sound off! John the Hemet, where ya at brother...Im FINALLY asking for serious o-line playa's! Even Fake-Fat-Sunny should be onboard with forming the next Colts offense!
  16. I aint settling for a short term "in and out" of the playoffs, while Bledslow, Moulds, and Henry go out to pasture! I want the damn ring! I want redemption for the 4 losses! I am convinced that Bledsoe AINT gettingf us there, Moulds is headed for becoming the next Dillon, and Henry = Ricky Williams with a fumbling problem! I want a offense that actually scares people! Moulds may command attention but he is apparently changing the attention to OFF the field by his own doing! That AINT what we need. Do you want the next BUNGLES!!!!
  17. The part I LOVE about Losman is that he may in fact finally be the field LEADER that we so desperately need on this team. JP will be very hesitant to boss around Moulds. Moulds just flat out wont listen to him. Manning had the luxury of being able to slam whatever clown was screwing up at whatever moment. Edgerrin James, Tarik Glenn, Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, you name it, Peyton could step on the field and have just as much experience as the rest of them. He was at the same level and could step up and be the leader. JP will absolutely NOT have that luxury with an old timer like Moulds or Henry. They will simply laugh him off. It is absolutely HUGE that JP take the reigns of this offense and take control over himself and the rest of the starters on O. He NEEDS to be the undisputed field general who can kick the players in the ass to win when needed. He simply will never get the chance with Moulds as their number 1 still or Henry as their starter. Whether they actually trash him to his face or not, they will undoubtedly snicker, snear, or talk smack behind his back to anyone who questions JP. Starting fresh with Evans/McGahee will start our own trifecta a.l.a. INDY and allow Losman the lattitude to step up and be the true leader. If anyone out there thinks that Kelly's swagger didnt have a HUGE impact on keeping this team in line and forcing them to act like winners, you are seriously fooling yoursleves. I dont even want to hear silly crap about how other teams have managed to get to the dance without a true field general QB, they aint THIS team and THIS team absolutley needs it. I watched way too much Murphys law on this team to listen to crap about how some (insert clown QB name here) could actually win a SB for us. I have seen the worst happen over and over for far too long to hear garbage about (insert passive QB here) could really get us a ring, if blank, blank, blank, and blank just happened. Get real, get honest, and get onboard! JP has the ATTITUDE to be our SB QB. He may finally restore the tough minded, win at all costs, never say die, winners mentality that desapearred when Kelly left. That above all of his talent, above all of his potential, is the SINGLE GREATEST REASON why HE is THE QB for the Bills. Keeping a "grumbling" Moulds will only work against us. Trade him, get the cap cash back to build a stud o-line, and pick up a number 2 to complement Evans. I have yet to hear a single reason why Evans cant be our number 1. He is the fastest bill, and has the best hands of ALL the WR's! Umm.. put those 2 together and you have no reason why he cant be our #1 stud! My dream would be for us to score a #2 for Henry, and a #1 for Moulds and then trade both to move to the high 1st and grab a stud, big, tall, strong WR like Mike Williams! Evans and Mike Williams, Losman, McGahee, add in Alex Smith (Stanford) and Walter Jones who walks when Shaun gets the tag and Sea doesnt fess up the cash, and we are SICK!!! JP needs to start, Bledsoe needs to go, Moulds is old and holds a high round pick, Henry follows the train right out of here and we score TONS of cap cash and high picks to go shopping for bigtime studs!!!! Losman can start the all new and improved Bills trifecta that ranks right up there with Manning/Harrison/James....Losman/Evans/McGahee!!!!
  18. Your comment here is on the money, and has not been talked about yet. I will also start another post on this, so chime in...please. Get real, get honest, and get onboard! JP has the ATTITUDE to be our SB QB. That abopve all of his talent, above all of his potential, is the SINGLE GREATEST REASON why HE is THE QB for the Bills. Keeping a "grumbling" Moulds will only work against us. Trade him, get the cap cash back to build a stud o-line, and pick up a number 2 to complement Evans. I have yet to hear a single reason whyt Evans cant be our number 1. He is the fastest bill, an d has the best hands of ALL the WR's!
  19. Better than us being stuck with his huge cap hit and rapidly diminishing skills! I dont mind paying the guy if he starts stepping up in other areas like leadership and forcing the team to find a winners attitude. At this point he is headed the other way and becoming a potential problem. Add his cap hit, age, declining skills, and now attitude problem all together and I say ship him elsewhere or cut him!
  20. How hard will Moulds play when we are 1 and 5 with Losman as the starter if hes already "thinking" about his future with the team when he has Bledsoe at the helm? Sorry, he may be the best player on our squad (very debateable) but the LAST thing this team needs is a problem in the locker room. Especially from one of our supposed leaders! We truly WILL become the Bengals if Moulds starts pulling the Dillon routine!
  21. 6 mil for a backup? thats just poor management.
  22. Sorry, dont misunderstand my trade. It would be Moulds for a mid or late first or outright plus a second (Travis trade) all traded for a very high 1st. Then we grab Mike Williams. Even if this doesnt happen, I say we grab Grafonso Thorpe in the arly second!!!!! You heard it here first! Sick speed, hands, and size. Injury questions is why he has dropped.
  23. So let me get this straight, Moulds isnt beating speedy CB's with his legs anymore, has had the dropsies as of late, is thiry something, is set to make 8.5 mil next season, and is now questioning his future with the team? Umm, can you say gone? Trade him after the season for a youngster to go opposite Evans (yes I think Evans has the speed and the BEST hands on the team). How about to TItans for Calico or Dallas for Qunicy Morgan plus a 1st rounder. Yes, Moulds may be our best player, but he isnt getting any younger, is now costing a fortune, isnt a deep threat, and will command a kings ransom in trade. Get it done, get the picks plus a player with a bright future. Evans becomes our #1, and we add a young guy to compete. How about stealing a very high 1st for a second next year (that we get from trading Travis) and then taking Mike Williams!!!! So, Evans and Williams are our WR's...can you say SICK!! Next, Bledslow isnt worth 6 mil next year. We wont get jack for him in a trade so simply cut him and use the cap cash on the o-line. Hell, either sign Jennings or get one of the stud LT's in the league, if one happens to not be franchised next year. Losmans our future, do you think Moulds wont B word to holy high hell when Losman goes through his learning pains with losses on the field? Losman needs to start...umm...NOW to get through his learning and get into the playoffs again!!! Travis is gone, we all know that. I saw the comments on the stack of top notch RB's set to be available. Shaun Alexander is the best, you could argue he gets franchised which means Walter Jones is now available to us using the cap savings from Moulds an Bledsoe, or Seattle could very well sign him outright and franchise Jones again or vice versa, this will be the most interesting team to watch for us. I could very well end up that Jones is headed out of Sea. Holy crap would I crap my pants if he was ours next year! Anyways, the worst situation would be for Shaun to be in FA next year, Travis would instantly be worth squat. Add in the Ricky factor, does he actually come back in the league? if so yet another guy killing Travises value, and we might be in trouble. James wont leave INDY. Mark my words!!! So, I am not one to hold on to over the hill, has-beens who are on the down side of their careers. If the Moulds situation is what it is, and he doesnt want to play for us when Losman starts, trade his damn ass yesterday, Evans is one year from being an unquestionable starter. Why wait, start him now and deal with the questions. Get the high pick for Moulds move to early 1st and get Mike Williams. Cut Bledslow, use the cap cash on the o-line. Losman starts permanently, and we get the pick for Travis. Could be a fun offseason with a MAJOR changing of the guard, and a start at a new future that may yield our SB ring!!!
  24. Even talented players with talented coaches can lose with a losers mentality. Vincent admitted that the Bills do in fact have a losers mentality at this point. "We're just not used to winning much. That's what I've seen," Vincent said. It has been my biggest bone of contention with this squad. We havent had a hard-lined tough minded coach...umm...ever. And we havent had a QB with a winners mentality since Kelly. Losman may have very well of been the best QB for THIS team based on his attitude alone. WE desperatley need a QB and head coach who will kick these players in the ass when they need to step up and play like champions. I still believe that this teams biggest problem is that they dont maintain the attitude of winners who know how to ensure that they win. Again, thank god for Losman, lets get his experince to the level where his attitude is!
  25. Yeah, what you said....and more. Why again did camp fodder Justin Bannan and one hit wonder Ron Edwards play at the same time? Why cant Pat be with one, Sam with the other?
