  1. Again its almost like your smart, almost. So somehow we are to believe that by playing the game you dont learn? Somehow holding a clipboard teaches you how to use proper throwing mechanics? Its all the stuff you didnt mention that is even more important. Field presence, Look off, Throwing into coverage, leading your Receivers, play fakes, clock management, leadership, winners attitude that makes a QB great. You just cant teach that stuff, thats best learned on the field against opponents. Your bad habit comment makes no sense either because a bad habit can be formed at any time not just if a player is put in before hes ready. How many QB's suck in practice but are great on the field? How about vice versa? You know better. Why do I think you secretly want Shane Matthews to become the next Kurt Warner? Get over it man, we aint gonna get the next Kurt Warner, EVER!!
  2. Fact is, if we hadnt, we couldnt even TALK about starting our future QB right now!!!! We got our future QB on the field, ang got hin playing time in week 10 of THIS year. If you believe that JP will need some amount of growing time, praise be to TD for starting that clock THIS YEAR!!!! Our future QB plays THIS YEAR, not 12 months from now, because we traded up for JP!!!
  3. HELL NO! I want JP to start and us to slam the door shut on this latest chapter of "lets prove why the Bills are going nowhere". My point is that the Bills will still start Drew as long as they are mathematically in it. I dont see TD or MM letting JP start when Drew may "still be our best chance to win". That crappy thinking is what Im bitching about! I want JP the starter vs. Rams.
  4. a 9 and 7 record COULD get us a playoff berth, isnt that right? I know nothing about the head to heads or afc records, etc.... Is it really true that we are now officially out? If its simply record and we COULD go in iwth a 9 and 7 record, we will suffer through maybe even 4 more weeks of Drew. It wont be until we lose our 8th that we are officially out. Thats at least 2 more. If we beat the Rams at home, thats 3 weeks that JP doesnt start. I see no way in hell TD or MM starts JP when we still are mathmatically in it.
  5. He had no practice with the first team. He had no real notion that he may play. He was listed as the 3rd QB. He was thrown in with no real notice against the world champs. I dont count this game as anything for JP. I did see him scramble and get us yards and kill a few sacks, something Drew cant manage to do! Basically this action for JP is like the scrimmage with the Browns was for Drew. It takes time for the QB to jell with his squad. Moulds, Evans, McGahee, the o-line need to learn about what JP will do in what situation, and vice versa. They havent played together at all. Give him a full week practicing with the 1st team and gameplanning with them, play him a whole game and lets see what he does.
  6. Im permanently done with this sh+t ass squad! Only a sh+thead would have Edwards and Bannan in at the same time versus the Pats yet Ive seen it twice so far. Only a sh+thead would run over and over when its obviously not working and they are destroyed in the secondary by injuries. Bledsoe frikkin blows monsterous donkey crank! Start Losman NOW!!!!
  7. They know their best chance of holding McGahee under 100 is forcing him to run up the gut. They add the extra pressure to the edges and hope for the sacks with Williams out. I hope Mularkey came with a good gameplan. I still think we win, and I bet McGahee gets 100+ even though the Pats defend against it! This game would be his breakout game!
  8. McGahee goes for another 100+ and we win watch it happen! By the way, Kelsay gets at least 1 sack on Brady today!
  9. Please go ahead and blast me if Im way off on this but has anyone noticed an appreciable drop off when Marcus Price is in? On the other hand Jennings just schooled the NFL sack leader, Abraham!!! How can we not want to keep this guy based on just that? Hell, do we franchise a LT who can own Abraham? Im completely torn on this, what do we do?
  10. If he goes 100+ against the Jests and there big front 4, Ill be permanently convinced!!!!
  11. Does anyone else out there have a feeling, in your gut, that McGahee may not be the answer? Sure, I love what he has done and I love the potential. But, he doesnt have his full speed back; will he ever? He doesnt have Henrys ability to seem to bowl through defenders; dont we need that? And, my biggest question is can he be trusted not to cough it up yet? Henry developed a problem in year 2 Do we know yet if he is injury prone? Henry has been pretty injury free and yet other comparable backs to McGahee are injury prone like Fred Taylor. He may be great on the field but what if he rarely see it due to injuries? There is something to be said for a known quantity in Henry. We know hes durable, we know he will break tackles every game, we know he is productive for whole seasons not just some games. When you have a stud back, dont you want to hang on to him like hes gold? Do we really have 2 studs? a PROVEN 2 stud RB's? My opinion still is that McGahee should be our guy and Travis should be traded but I recently have been posing these questions in my head. There is some truth in keeping what works. McGahee still wins as far as im concerned because of potential but the word implies that the potential is unrealized and the unrealization is where we should have some question marks still. What if next year McGahee is a flop and Henry is gone, what then? My gut still tells me McGahee is the real deal and to be fair he does things Travis cant, but I feel we should be a touch conservative here and not be willing to toss away a proven stud before we know that the replacement is truly better.
  12. I have never been one who would critize TD for picking skill position players in the 1st even when he has other needs. Detroit picked Roy Williams even though they had Charles Rogers, how bad did that work out for them? Can you imagine the Bills fans blasting TD for picking Roy when they had Charles already and needed (insert position here)? Fact is, you can never have enough playmakers! I loved the Bills for grabbing a top 4 player at 20-whatever. I wish they did that every year. Skill positions cost too much in FA to get the studs, you need to draft them early and often O-lineman take too long to develop and dont cost that much, you need to use your cap cash on them, and get the studs! That plan has worked great for me on Madden! And hey, the NFL is just like Madden!
  13. Yet again you waste your breath with hopelessly ignorant posts. "Bills can even win going away with mediocre production from Bledsoe if we have other factors like: 1. We were at home (THE 12TH MAN RULES!!!!!!!!!!) 2. AZ really sucks 3. The OL was pretty good and the blitz-pick-up was great. 4. The running game used WMs run and the blocking with authority. 5. The wind took away the passing game so rather than depend upon Bledsoe to win it for us, his job which he performed successfully (with the help of some lucky bounces on one Keystone cops fumble) was to not make mistakes, deliver a few timely plays and be a threat." Gee, with that situation every weekend we probably COULD win with some no talent clown like Jeff Blake (who does he start for?), or Dilfer (who does he start for?), or AVP (what NFL team is he even on at this point?). Thanks again for making my arguement and poin ting out the painfully obvious. THis team needs a stud QB to win games, period! OK, the next part of your sillyness: The Bills can win even with mediocre play at QB consistently (as opposed to today's episode which will not happen all the time) if: 1. MM and TC become at least good if not great coaches. Parcells and BB have already shown that it is possible to win consistently or in must win games with Bledsoe at QB if the coaching is great Umm, coaching is great hasn been in the Bills equation umm ever! Probably nto even when we went to 4 straight! I give Kellys fiery never die QB sttitude just as much kudos for the Bills win as Marvs little poetic catch phrases! 2. They do not get pass-happy and depend on Bledsoe to win games for us. Umm, again you clearly havent been watching this team in the last decade. If any team in the league screams of needing a tough minded stud at QB its this one! This is a team that does everything it can to lose games not win them. 3. The OL and the blitz pick-up have to work hard to override his limitations. Again, welcome to planet Buffalo Bills, you may find things very different here than on your home planet. Id love to have all the things you list, guess what we dont, and if the past 10 years means anything, we would run in the other direction when someone like you stood at the podium spouting this crap. This team needs to make every single possible move in every single aspect of the game to add every single possible advantage to this team. Maybe, and I mean maybe, we can then finally win a SB. Sorry, way too much Bills data makes you look really dumb at this point to even listen. Losman or whoever represents the next Manning on this team cant start soon enough for anyone who truly wants a SB ring for this team! Lay back, dont think to much, youve been painfully (for you) wrong for too many years now. Brady, your 6th round wonder boy, is the savior to any team by many on this board. Too bad he would look like Rob Johnson if he started on THIS squad! Hes nothing special, NE's coaches and scheme make him look good. You keep telling yourself that we can have coaching, etc... like NE and then a clown QB would be good enough. Hey, hold your breath while your at it! Ill arrange your funeral.
  14. Enjoy eating that crow next year, we'll have to wait to serve it to you!
  15. Euhus throw was his best in probably 4 games. Moulds TD was all Moulds, any other WR and it probably would have been an INT. Bledsoe has to go! sounds like a rally cry! Losman starts in the Rams game. We lose the next 2, and are out of the playoffs, mark my words! We start heading to our 1st SB win when Losman starts! Get him inthe game, dont let a statue who has lost his game fool you into thinking hes good enough!
  16. Obviously you already are smokin it, pass it around dont be stingy!
  17. McGahee gave his 1st rushing TD ball to Damion Shelton because he felt he sprung the block for him. This after proclaiming that he gives his entire credit for the Fins game to the o-line. He continues to impress with not just his stats! I still feel hes missing the complete game though. I want to see that 4.3 speed. He has yet to comeback to full speed. I dont know much about kneee injuries, do they permanently change your speed? Henry is so gone after this year, he will get a 1st round pick no doubt in my mind! Look what Ricky was grabbed for when he had comparable stats. Ricky was traded for 2 1st rounders. Henry isnt Rikcy but is one of the leagues best rushers. He will get a 1st rounder, no doubt. Now if we can just get our stud QB on the field we are all set!
  18. Waaaa, you hurt my unregistered blleding heart democrat feelings! Your not worth the response. You want to bend over to the world and terrorists, go waste your vote on Kerry, its your right.
  19. ....And a post game press conference comment that syas something like, " We just need to stop all the mental mistakes that continue to kill us." and, "I was throwing into triple coverage to get the pass interference call, the refs didnt see it, ohh well, it wasnt my fault that they ran back 99 yards for a TD, Im still the QB of this team." and "Willis had a great game for us today, to bad we didnt get in the end zone but me, and Sam, and Mike, and Bob, and Tom, and Frank, and Rusty, and Diesheeky, and Q-bert, and Bell will be working on that in the weeks to come. With any luck, I will not only run out of first names to call people by, but this team will finally get in the endzone by week 16. We just have to play mentaly sound football, thats what I kept saying to myslef while I was laying on my back with the fumbled ball just past my finger tips."
  20. I was in the military for 8 years and know first hand about the few fairyish wimps that can claim they were in active duty. Big deal, stomp through a whole country to take down a murderous dictator, that take nuts!
  21. As sick and tired and putrid you may feel about this squad just hang in there until about the Rams game or so. I think it will become strikingly obvious how much of an impact having Losman start will be! I believe that theres very few positions on the field that can change a team night and day with a player change. QB is the main one! I cant wait to watch Losman scramble away from the rush and throw to a now wide open Moulds in the flat! I cant wait to watch Losman blow by Zack Thomas for a first down. I cant wait to watch Losman simply side step the rush and connect with Evans on a 40 yard TD strike. I cant wait until the first controversy, the first bad Losman game, or better yet the first good Losman game but Bills loss. I cant wait to here the sounds of a fiery leader again. Most of all, I cant wait to see Bills players as one of the top in their perspective categories on the todays stats leaders thingy at the bottom of the TV screen during TV coverage If Losman ends up with Manning type stats in a year or two, describe the load that you will blow (keep it clean). Im going with right whale wad which averages 45 gallons
  22. Id take Bruce Smith in his hay day. I just cant really remember how good he was. It seems like he could get to the QB on any given play but I cant remember what that was like. Yeah, Id love to watch Barry Sanders again, But the Bruce thing is more intriguing. I want to know how far away the DE's these days are.
  23. Sorry, I think he is an unsavory ice troll, a sniveling weiner! If hes elected America can expect to be bending over for Chirac and the French for years! We will not attack a single person on anyone elses soil under the Kerry admin. We will endlessly talk to the UN. Sorry, sometimes theres a need for force! I watched a show on him. Ever since the Vietnam war he has voted against war each and every time. Hes gun-shy with Vietnam on the brain. He wants to sit down over a nice cup of tea with Saddam and use his nice voice to ask him why he slaughtered millions of his own people. Make a statement like, "If it isnt too much bother, we really would prefer that you didnt fire your missles at us or your neighboors anymore. I dont want to hurt your feelings but, its not nice to attack others." Give me a fuggin break! If we simply give up and go home now, the terrorists and dictatorships know that they won, they still are pissed at us, and we make the problem 10 times worse!!! God Bless Bush. The first leader in my time who says what he does and does what he says. Kill the barbarian bastards and build voting booths on their corpses! I can picture it now, Chirac and Kerry in a swanky motel room watching pron covered in Heinz ketchup!
  24. My solution is easy. Its called a salary cap! The NFL used on and learned that any team now can win the SB any year. Dynasties and true competition return, revenue throughout the league goes up even at poorly attended rinks because every team could be in it at the start of the season. Everyone is happy, even the players a few years after they suck it up and play for 500K a season instead of 1-2mil waaaaa! The problem is the players will hold out and can get paid to play elsewhere. The league cant hold them to the fire like the NFL can. This will be a LONG hold out I promise!
  25. Shoots huge hole in my theory that its based on your zip. The thing I dont get is that the NFL owns the games when you buy NFL Sunday Ticket, not the local stations with coverage. They have the ownership so how doesthe coverage areas have anything to do with it? Stupid, Ithaca is at least 2.5 hours away! Im headed to the sports bar!
