  1. I am telling you , that game was awesome. LT played everywhere that day.
  2. Games I have attended in chronological order. 1) Dolphin Streak Breaker 2) Rams Conga Line 3) Giants-Bills Scab 6-3 OT win with 8k of my closest friends! And it was a 4 pm start! 4) 51-3 5) Pats 2011
  3. They all seem like "famous" beers..i know nothing about homebrewing but maybe those have the most reliable recipes? Tank 7 is my favorite on that list..but at 8.5% it is not in my best interest to keep a lot of them in my fridge
  4. My only point is 99% of us have not seen anything but highlights, but internet jockeys will get outraged cause some analyst had em all worked up.
  5. Can’t wait for the all the people who have never seen that Caulfield dude play complain JBotts blew it. Lets hope this dude is good!
  6. argh okay, it is not his handle..
  7. Dallas is, but hardly ever opened.. who is road sodas? I cant see in the retweet list
  8. Really interested to get your take on the hotel. I have not stayed there yet, but have always wanted to
  9. this is gunna get ugly.....a subjective, all over the field penalty..in the hands of a video judge ..that can decide a game.....wow...I predict tis rule lasts exactly 1 year..if not shorter
  10. Not to take this trhread completely off the rails..but there is an area in the district that used to be the "circuit" for cars to circle around the block and cruise for hookers. ..14rh an K street to M street...once the District decided to clean it up in the mid 90's, they put up "No Right Turn--11PM to 4AM signs..still there as far as I know, and still the law. Funny as hell. One night they did an old style "eviction" and walked the ladies into VA https://www.washingtonpost.com/archive/politics/1989/07/26/march-clears-out-prostitution-zone/e44018f8-47fb-4499-99d2-6b59c49c57eb/?utm_term=.e2e491cf2180
  11. Huh? Google up my street view..2012 Kalorama RD..take a look at Dupont Circle, Adams Morgan and 14th and U neighborhoods...WTF???
  12. As far from Disney as you can get..although keeps getting more and more gentrfied as we speak. Not the same District as when i first moved there late 80's. And lots o business here besides the Feds..i have made a good living selling software and have never sold to the feds..have no clue how to do it!
  13. Surrounding Areas, we agree! The District? Most awesomest urban area in the world. Shoot, we be a mile from the White House, beautiful tree lined street, 3 very distinct neighborhoods within a 8 minute walk, and truly hardly ever hear about politics. Love it
  14. well, to be fair would you want to move from the greatest city in the world(outside Buffalo) to live in to flyover country..so you could work for Sunny Perdue?? These people sound rational to me
  15. well..couple of things here 1) I remember late 60's or early 70's our Boy Scout troop made like $500 by bringing used punch cards to get recycled! 2) First time i touched a "computer" was in Pascal class at college, 81.. phone in the coupler in the computer lab. Funny thing was the professor would post grades by SS# .( wow, how crazy was that).your login was your SS#..lets just say I had some help on some my programs from some of the smarter folks in the class, unbeknownst to them!!!!!
  16. cant pay a hooker with em either...sooo
  17. Man, I never pulled the trigger on Bitcoin. Missed a great run this year. Do you see this Facebook stuff hurting Bitcoin at all @Foxx?
  18. Those were crazy expensive no? That was a real cell phone!
  19. yep, got the bag phone next. Thing took up the entire basket of the golf cart!
  20. Phone was about the same price as smartphones today..maybe $800? another $500 install. But holy moley a phone call was expensive. Seem to remember $4.00 for a 411 call, and proly close to $.50 a minute? And man, if you used that thing when you were out out of town and roaming...it was like $4.00 /minute.
  21. Prolly first used a Think Pad in like 92 or 93..work would have given it to me to use for demos and such. First computer I owned outright was a Gateway..prolly 95 or 96???? I did have one of these in 87 though!
  22. my point is exactly what you say..the NHL and baseball drafts are complete mysteries to guys like us..only way to see 98% of these guys plays is to be in the arena. At least with NFL and BB, so many games on TV and tape, we can form our own opinions is all i was saying Top 5 of the NHL draft might be the safest draft of all, even though drafting so young!
  23. what cracks me up about the NHL draft and all us board jockeys is realistically none have us have a clue about how these guys can play based on what we have seen.(outside @BillsFan4, that dude sounds like he knows his poop)..cause if anything we have seen some you tube highlights and maybe a few internationl trnys at best. All of this is just based Central Scouting, and what we have read, not what we have seen
