  1. OK OK. sometimes it's tough to know if someone is sacarstic or not especially on the Irak issue...
  2. He bast.... you are the one that has started insulting me (and my country) so if you don't like my humor THIS IS YOUR PROBLEM, i did not bring the topic on this field YOU DID but as you put me there i have the right to answer don't you think?!!
  3. LOL You live in the People's Republic of Wisconsin don't you?!!
  4. You're funny! It's SOOOO easy to be a "die hard bills fan" when you live in WNY! Try to be a Bills fan in France, now that's "die hard". I've not seen a live Bills game since 1995, before around 1996-97 and internet, i had to drive 25 miles to pick up the USA today international version in a specialised book store each TUESDAY to have the result of the Sunday Bills game... and for other information than the box score i had "Sport Illustrated"... well with the mail it took only about 3 weeks to have the week's issue! Or i could try to hear a game (not the Bills game 95% of the times!) on the US Army's radio from Germany on my old short waves radio, the good nights i could have good reception for about half an hour!! So please i consider i have no "you're not a serious Bills fan " lesson to receive from anybody here!!
  5. Ha ha ha! you mean its his last paiement for the fake little toy missiles i sold him that the US Intelligence took for WMD?!!!
  6. You can not compare the world of european soccer with the NFL. The day soccer will have a salary cap, we'll see. And think what you want but the "they buy the refs" anti-Pats argument is nonsense. And Boond, if you find "disgusting "people having "seconde favorite teams" i wonder how you react to real problems in life, like i don't know any SERIOUS matter. We are talking football here, you know A GAME!! The same for Beerball comparing the Pats with Hitler!! He guys i'm the "euro" here but you are the ones sounding like euro soccer hooligans.
  7. Who are you talking about? Real men don't have "other priorities" when they are supposed to fight for their country...
  8. The kind of guy i'd like to vote for if i could (but well libertarians in France are about as rare as communists in the USA!)
  9. Yeah let's not forget him. I miss you Paul.
  10. Do you know me?!! so please don't include me in those fair weather fans i hate !! I've waited for decades for the Red sox to win till 2004, i'm still waiting for the Sabres and Bills... i'm a Celtics fan that has never seen anything good from this team (i've started following the NBA in 1989...) ... "My" rugby team has not won a title since 1954 and "my " soccer team since 1980. So yes i can enjoy without shame the best NFC year i could dream off, the best Saints team in history and the best Bears team i've ever followed (as i 've started following the NFL in 1988). And franckly the Dawgg arguments look a lot better than the ones i read from those "Bills fans" that are spitting their Pats hatred while all they dream of is a team that 'd play like them....
  11. Well it's when they talk again and again about those damned Colts that i feel they try to brainwash me and to sell me damaged goods. While I have not seen any media predicting yet an other good season for the Pats lest september and look where they are! In fact they're still underestimating the Pats after all they have done those last 5 years...
  12. LOL!! (and will you send me some royalties for your new signature?)
  13. It looks like JP AND Rivers will have fine NFL careers. They're still young. It was Rivers' first year as a starter and well he did OK... The one (of this class) that had a bad year is Manning the Minor...
  14. Something i will never understand about the "classical" Bills fan is that hatred toward the Pats. Maybe it's because i like Boston and New England in general, have enjoyed all my visits there, but well i actually like the Pats. They have substance, they have great coaching, they are hard working, they play in real football weather, they have classy players and tough fans. I'll never understand why a Bills fan 'd prefer to root for a sun belt or dome playing fan-less team like the Colts, Chargers or Jaguars than root for the Patriots. That is why I just hope they'll crush the overhyped overrated Colts circus next week end. And well i'll wait for the Superbowl to root vs them, as my 2 favorite teams in the NFC meet for the title in the other game Sunday. (and i'm not jumping on any bandwagon, i've rooted long enough for some Kramer or Orton leaded Bears teams and "Please give Delhomme the job" Saints teams to have earned the right to cheer for those suddenly fashionable franchises)
  15. We are talking here about 1 game out of 256 (not counting the playoffs). I'm sure the european fans of the NFL and what they give to the league represent a little more than 0.4% of the NFL revenue... Frankly i'd prefer they play 2 regular season games a year in Europe and fold the whole NFLE than see the NFLEurope continue and no NFL regular season games played here.
  16. well i personally know about 20 Bills fans here in France and 1 Giants fan so i dare to disagree with you. Don't forget the best Bills years took place when people in Europe have started to follow the NFL. For a lot of european football fans the Bills (and the Cowboys and 49ers) are their "first football love" ...
  17. the NFL Europe?? Come on how can you be interested (and travel to Germany and pay good money to watch) in teams that change 90% of their players each season! Preseason Games? Do you really even watch preseason games on TV? One quarter of starters trying to avoid injuries and three quarters of third string players? I'm an NFL fan for 20 years, i've bought lot of merchandise, paid lot of TV money to be able to watch games, spent thousands of dollars to travel to the USA to see (3 times) games there. I know hundreds of people who have done the same. I think we deserve a little more than the NFL Europe! One regular season game a year that's all we ask !!
  18. One thing that's sure is that i will root for the Ravens-Colts winner to lose in the AFC Championship game. Between the Media hyped Dolts and the Murderer leaded Ravens it's hard to know who i hate the most!
  19. Ever think we MAY know a thing or two about football in Europe??!! Is is really that hard to ask for a little respect?? In those "games in Europe" threads i'm really amazed by the selfishness and the arrogance of most posters... Europe is yet a major market for the NFL, it's about time we may receive something back from all the money we give them yet!!
  20. the flight time will be the same for the two teams (while when the Fish play on the west coast the other team is fresh!) ... and well the NFL will not make them travel in coach... First class by British Airways is not that tiring!!
  21. Reading you it's just like Europe was on an other planet... i don't know why travelling to London for Miami 'd be that much tougher than travelling to Seattle for exemple...
  22. If all the NFL send us is the Fish and the Giants, two teams that will be among the 5 worst NFL teams next year I'll be very upset!
  23. Beurk!! They really could not pick a worst matchup! Those two teams should suck next year!! I'm a huge NFL fan but i don't know if i'll pay top dollars to see that, especially in London where hotels and food prices and other costs are huge!
  24. Well that's how you (and the father of the kids) spin it.... Reading the story it looks they have been kicked off the bus simply because they took the wrong bus!
  25. You're not gonna win much money but before starting "real life" and get a real job any good football player from any NCAA team (div 3 included) can play for a team in Europe, spend the year there having fun and playing a little football. If you're really good you may get an invitation to an NFLE camp and if you're not that good, well what kind of young athletic american bachelor would not enjoy a year in Europe all costs paid?!! I can give you lot of contacts if your bro is interested...
