I was watching the Sabres vs Atlanta last night on the North American Sport Network and is it me or was Atlanta's rink really filled with Sabres fans? It looked like more than half the people in the stands were rooting for our team... What a great hockey town Atlanta is!! Just wish they could move those teams in real hockey towns...

he Meazza, as you probably know italian soccer much better than i do ... i was wondering: what about all those southern teams? 4 or 5 years ago there was not even one team south of Rome... once in a while the Reggina or Napoli 'd spent a couple of years in the first division but now there's about 5 or 6 of them, including the two sicilians involved in last week's tragedy. Where did they find the money, who are the bosses of those teams? Any mafias or money laundering in the mix?

This Melissa-Mania (number 46) on the internet is amazing! I hear about her almost everyday on american internet sites while she's an unknown for most frenchmen as she has only host marginal shows or shows on marginal cable channels. It's sure she'll be a french TV star one day (she's a lot more visible now that she has a show on broadcast TV even if it's a late night one) but for now she's a lot more admired overseas than in France. Well at least she's doing very well for the image of our country in the world!!

I agree, i've never understood why they put teams in Carolina, Nashville, Tampa, Atlanta or a second one in LA... Quebec City and Winnipeg should have kept their teams and with the economy in Canada a lot better than it was 10 years ago i hope they'll find a way to have teams back there. If the NHL want a good business plan and make their business grow they'd better make an european division (Stockholm, Prague, Helsinki, Moskow, a german team) than try to sell hockey in the Sun Belt!
