  1. Without an offensive line that can protect does it really matter who our QB is?
  2. I don't understand why a HC would really tamper with MM to get him to be their OC. Did they see the Bills O this year? Yikes.
  3. Miami can have that quitter. I couldn't be happier that MM is not part of this organization, he take his clever 2% QB advantage to Miami and help them lose all of their close games.
  4. JSP, couldn't agree with you more. I live in Bengals territory and there are Squeeler fans all over the place and I can't stand any of them. However, I do hope Buffalo can put together an o-line like the Squeelers have someday.
  5. Come on Denver, make a game of it for crying out loud!! I always cheer for the AFC rep in the superbowl but not this year I can't stand either team. Go Panthers if you make it
  6. Actually, I believe the Bills had very good sucess when they ran plays from that formation. I wish he would have used the bunch instead of passes to Shelton, we probably would have scored a few more TD and conveted a few more 3rd downs.
  7. As a fan, I'd rather see my team in the playoffs regardless of the outcome. Joke or not it beats watching these other teams I really don't give a **** about.
  8. If he was forced to resign, I'll have to recant the post, but everything I'v read makes it appear he decided to walk away from a difficult situation.
  9. If it took MM a week to figure out to walk away from a NFL HC job, is there any wonder why the guy looked lost on the sidelines during a game. A game where you have to make split second decisions in a high pressure environment, he was truly in over is head and I'm glad his gone. I can not for the life of believe we had a coach that was a quitter, it sickens me as a man, and guess what, that quitter gene he has translated on to the field with blown 4 quarter leads and close loses, he wasn't tough enough to win and bring that attitude to the team, freaking skirt. I'm glad he is gone, I am pissed we wasted two years with a spineless coach who walked away from a mess he helped create, what leadership. Nice message to your kids Mike, when the going gets tough, just get going. The absolute opposite of Marv "When it's too tough for them, it's just right for us"
  10. It would be difficult to glean what his reason(s) for leaving are since he never was upfront for the two years he was the Bills HC. I'm glad he is moving on, he may be good person, but in my mind he was the capt of the ship and he quit. He actually walked away from his footbal team. It is no wonder this team had no heart late in games, they collectively took the queue from the HC who is quitter. What a fine leader he turned out out to be. Good bye meathead and good luck, I hope someone in the AFC East hires you as a HC someday, we will be able to count on a couple of wins per year if they do. If there is one thing I can't stand in life is spineless quitter, when the going gets tough, I get going, and this dude was the HC of my favorite sports team. BTW meathead, nice message you sent to your kids.
  11. Marv actually discussed the Smerlas situation in his book, he wanted to keep Fred if I remember, but he was going to have to share time with Wright? Fred couldn't accept the reduced role so he was shown the door. I'm not sure what Marv will do, but I think he will be a good a GM, I believe he knows talent, I think he has a handle on the problems this team has, and I think he will address them. He was a good GM/coach in the CFL I'm glad he is back in the Bills organization.
  12. Hard to say what will happen to these guys. In Marv's book he had the same approach to vets as one of his coaching mentors George Allen did, which is they don't trust rookies and they love vets. If I remember correctly, Marv didn't play EM much at all as a rookie. I think with Marv on board as GM, Moulds, Adams, London and Milloy have a very good chance to be on this roster for the 06 season.
  13. I agree, to me it shows he really cares and he appears to want a winner as bad as we do.
  14. WM caught a couple balls yesterday and looked good when doing it. Where was that all year. I guess he comes out on third down because he can't block?
  15. I have nothing to base it on, I'd like to see him as the Bills HC. He may be disorganized etc. I don't know that either, but somehow that approach was better than what the Bills offered when we the two teams played each other this year.
  16. The bottomline is this is Ralph's team, he put up the money to get the franchise, he brought Buffalo the Bills, if he wants to sit in the War Room on draft day he has every right to do that. My guess is all he wants is to be informed, and TD was to arrogant to do that. TD probably was acting like he owned the Bills and made all decsions w/o taking to the man that writes the checks. If I was the owner I would get tired of that behavior as well, especially in light of the on field performance. In Levy's book, he talks about when he was hired as HC, Ralph's wife called and asked Marv to be sure to talk to Ralph about the team and game and he did, my guess is TD thought he was to good to even report to the owner, he sealed his own fate. I'm also encouraged the owner seems to be as pissed off as the fan base, because the GM/President and HC don't appear to care. I hope Ralph gets a superbowl trophy some day
  17. What is the deal with Haslett, I keep reading posts that are saying he is passionate about the Bills and wants to be the head coach of this team. Where are these rumors coming from? As a fan I would love to see him as our HC or DC, he has a history with the team, knows the area and fan base, which is a huge plus to me as a fan and light years ahead of the last two fools we had HC. I hope he is announced as our HC soon.
