I think they would have helped but leaving our corners in man to man with no safeties to help and LBs not dropping deep in to coverage were the 2 biggest problems last night
but Rex didn't change anything. He should have played more zone to help the corners
we all WANT this team to do well but get very frustrated when they don't....I understand this is a different regime running things but as a fan since the '60s....this really sucks right now....16 seasons with no playoffs....that is a ridiculous record
I don't see how....When I used to go to the games there was usually close to 80,000 fans in the stands. No way they could get that number consistently again
Just things I read during the process. Also read a quote attributed to Jackson. I didn't fabricate anything. I read things and then formed my own opinion.
I think whomever decided to hire Rex Ryan is to blame and I do not believe it was Whaley. Why would he want to break up and start over after the defense he helped build with Schwartz? It doesn't make sense. A very good defense was in place.....The offense needed fixing. There were reports that Hue Jackson was going to be next Head Coach. Jackson himself said he expected to get the job. I believe Whaley was overruled by either Pegula or Brandon. And here we are......
no, but the fact this team does not look improved at all is the reason we're all pissed off....if you want to look at the positives, go ahead. I see nothing new here.
