Funny...the only man in recent history to really FORCE CHANGE to how the the world works, did so in large part because the rest of the world thought that he had one hand in the jellybean jar and the other hand on "the button". Going back a little more, the last country that did launch a major attack on us even had reservations about "awaking the sleeping dragon". And they felt the dragon's breath not once, but twice.

I was thinking more of the whole "what comes around goes around" premise. There seems to be a lot of that coming from the DNC.

No it wasnt. I never checked a box saying "check here to be contacted by the Army" on any form I ever filled out. Much ado about nothing. And frankly..I have ZERO problem if the govt called every HS Senior in the land to try and recruit him or her. There are plenty of other countries where you have no choice than to serve, like it or not. So a few phone calls from Uncle Sam politely asking me if I would be interested in serving my country when I turn 18 isnt anything to get bent about.

Im so tired of this.............. A son of a man of power in this country got preferential treatment when he was a kid? Naw...that never happens. And further...I DEFY anyone to step into GHWB's shoes and say they wouldnt do the same for their children in the middle of a military action. Good Lord...this is a country where we dont want to use red markers anymore to grade our children's papers lest it "traumatize them" and we buy cars that double as TANKS to "protect" our little ones, and the word "legacy" will get a young man or woman everything from sex to a high paying job, but we are all flustered because a man with a record of service to the USA ten miles long pulled a few strings to keep his kid not even out of the military...but just out of 'Nam?
