  1. I still miss the odes to Kamil Loud. Gamedays just aren't the same
  2. No problem. I figured in your tirade you missed the outcome
  3. We are in the playoff hunt and just won at Arrowhead
  4. First- I get that the outside run is a very unpopular call. However, when you're up by more than three and have the ball with a bit over two minutes to play, it's a tough call to make. If you have a line that will get you tough yards up the middle when the other team knows that's what you're going to do, you'll win a lot of games. It tried to exploit the expectation that it was likely we'd run up the gut. It also kept the clock going. Second- As far as Dennison being ultra conservative, that's what McDermott wants. And I agree with that philosophy. We don't have enough talent on either side of the ball to get after people without exposing major weaknesses. If the front office is as desperate to draft a QB as the people on this board, we never will be good. We need to get better on both lines and at linebacker. Tyrod Taylor is at least as good as Case Keenum and no I won't compare stats as they are different players.
  5. I'm sure we will make plenty of moves after the season. I will however go back to the "He's the same guy" comment. While he hasn't made a dramatic shift, I think he has shown some improvement in the short passing game this season. Tyrod was overly reliant on the long pass in his first two seasons. I think he has shown more efficiency this year, which is surprising since his Watkins and Woods are gone
  6. And that same guy has proven to be better than our other options. I find that preferable to the lesser optons
  7. If that's the way it works, we have little hope. Regardless of who we get
  8. Things like that are easily soothed. Especially if we upgrade the talent he has to work with
  9. I don't let Tyrod leave until I'm sure we have something better. He's been very solid on a team that really isn't very good. We need a lot of help on both lines and at linebacker. Not to mention that Shady is closer to the end of his career than the beginning and we need playmakers at WR.
  10. Which one comes with the team they built? Because that's where the success comes from
  11. Keep both until accumulation of talent pushes them off the roster. Peterman dropped as far as he did for a reason. He may turn out to be a decent backup down the road. Tyrod has proven he can play at a high level under the right circumstances.
  12. That line of thinking just baffles me. Why not keep Taylor until we have something better? This mentality is why we've been spinning our wheels so long and haven't made the playoffs
  13. I won't say that Taylor is the next coming of John Elway, but we were down by a lot at the time and they could pretty much come after him
  14. Maybe its time to take a look at Taylor as the future and get some talent around him. The offense improved dramatically when he went in
  15. Taylor. He elevates the talent of a pretty bad offensive unit to the point that it can be competitive. I think we've seen that
  16. In addition, call me crazy on this if you want. I see a lot of potential in O'Leary at TE. Fumble aside, he is becoming one of my favorite offensive players of late
  17. He's our starter until we find someone better, AND you are always looking to get better. I'd extend his contract, as he has a lot of trade value right now. If we don't find someone better, he is our starter next season and I'm comfortable with that
  18. While I agree with this, it's over and done with. We aren't getting him now. Hopefully our new scouts will identify a good one.
  19. Tyrod is the guy until we have something better. PERIOD. Any other thoughts are absurd.
  20. Watson is playing well. He will struggle as teams adjust to him and then we will see how he bounces back. A few good games doesn't put him in the hall of fame. A few bad games doesn't break a guy either
