    Sounds like he has a lot of faith in Dennison. Really glad to hear they were talking and getting to know one another during his rehab. That can only be a positive for us in terms of them getting on the same page (and for Tyrod's position as a leader; players will respect his familiarity and relationship with Dennison)...

    Per Vic Carucci (who's on Sirius now), the reason Ty took the restructure because after talking with the Jets, Browns, 49ers they didn't put any numbers out there that made the restructure unpalatable. The Bills wanted Ty back, but not at the cost of the original extension...

    Vic Carucci (from Sirius) - Talked to people at top of Bills org for over a year, Gilmore made it clear he wanted no less than $14MM - Felt he backed it up with a 5 pick season - The Bills were closer to $12MM, but not going up to $14MM - didn't seem him at the top of his position - Deal with Pats is un-Patriot like, but you don't question BB

    Interesting convo - Rodack made his argument and Tucker and Greg McElroy disagreed saying they're not sure who else the Bills would have signed. None of the 17 QBs in the draft are a sure thing, this year's FA crop was not great. They're argument was that TT is not an elite franchise guy, but is MORE than serviceable...

    Programming Alert: Rodack is going to be on Sirius to talk Buffalo. He's not a fan of the Tyrod deal but both Ross Tucker and, well, whoever else is hosting thing resigning Tyrod is a complete NO BRAINER! Should be a fun conversation...

    I'm a little surprised that Bills fans are surprised that we didn't pay 14MM+ for Gilmore! Did people really think we were going to sign him now that he hit FA after trying unsuccessfully to extend him in the off-season? Great QB, but can't tackle for **** - I'll miss his coverage skills, but not his "throw the body at the Offensive player and bounce off" tackle style...
