Bills vs. Ravens All-22 Coaches Film Reviews
GG replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
First time I'm seeing this replay. Yup, total cheap shot by Judon. Hopefully there was a call from the league -

Then it was irresponsible to hold off until fall. He should have declassified in mid-August -

The longer they wait, the more opportunities for Trump to undermine the message. Who's the moron that made the hurricane an even bigger story? -
Sadly, McDermott is the wrong guy to develop his own guys

Agreed on how Bridgewater ended up. But considering there was only 1 team willing to take a very low risk on him indicates there were still concerns about his health in March. In RETROSPECT he would clearly been the best option. -

I guess we have different interpretations on the flexibility that Beane had in March. For a team that currently has $7 million in cap space, allocating $20 million to a bridge QB would be more reckless because that would mean cutting the roster much more. -

You can't ignore Bills' looming cap situation in how they approached FA. That's why they settled for Bodine & Newhouse. Keenum wasn't really a bridge, but a heavy 2-yr commitment. Bills could not afford $15 million in '18. McCown signed for $10 million McCarron was the safe choice based on Beane swinging for the fences to move up in the draft. The real risk is now that they didn't replace McCarron -

Realistically they didn't have too many choices in FA. It was clear that they were looking for a bridge QB, so Keenum and Cousins were out. They weren't trading for Smith. That left Bradford who went for a crazy number given his injury history. McCarron was the remaining safe choice. Jets were in a totally different spot because they already had McCown and they knew they were picking a good prospect high up. Bills were still sitting with the 12th & 22nd picks. -

Out of all those options, I think the last one is the most realistic. McCown wasn't leaving the Jets. We don't know how much the Bills were in the bidding in the first stage of QB FA, but looking at the contracts those guys signed, it was clear that the Bills were out of the running soon. I had no problem with going into camp with McCarron as the back up. I do have a problem with only Peterman in that role now. -

If it's going to happen then time is running very short for him. -
As is usually the case involving Trump, both claims are true. He's wrong about the deaths, but he's right about Dems' effort to make him look bad.

People need to focus on the replays. It's similar to last year when everyone was calling for Miller to start ahead of Ducasse, yet film proved that Miller player worse than Ducasse. Sometimes there's a reason to the madness.

Reason for some optimism. Receivers open.

What's not really discussed in the BR analysis is that KB is usually the No. 1 option, and the results were in line with his awful play. Wondering if Daboll puts in a plan where Kerley or Zay will be the first reads on Sunday? -
