It is kind of fitting that their dynasty began on a questionable call (tuck rule) and ended on a questionable call (pass interference after the fumble, they were a different team after that).
I'll help the brother out with two reasons.
1. How about with the exception of the Katrina season he only posted one losing record (7-9) in 5 seasons.
2. He actually was the HC of a team that won a playoff game.
Personally I have no gripe with Haslett. Guy did a good job with the Saints but lost a power struggle and his been in a bad place for the past couple of years.
He led the Saints to the playoffs his first season as head coach and with the exception of this season, only posted a losing record once (7-9) in five years. Nahhhh, he stinks.
Some members of the media have to get a grip. With all of the head coach vacancies this season left to be filled I'm sure GMs are climbing over themselves to get Big Mike on the horn now that he is available.....I'll be willing to bet he doesn't even get an interview. Some folks are acting like Lombardi just left after we won the Superbowl or something. WTF.
D&C has had a leg up on other local Bills media outlets for a couple years now. They get the scoop before anybody else. I should actually rephrase that, the get the CORRECT scoop before anybody else. None of the Clayton BS.
