  1. When I first read this I thought it said Fonz. Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I was like wtf does the Fonz have to do with down and distance.
  2. Just saw the highlight on NBC, Wild Bill sitting next to Ralph in his box, friggin classic. Clinton is the man, always liked that guy....now I love him.
  3. True, but he didn't choke last week when the pressure was on, quite the opposite. I think that says a lot. Seattle has a pretty solid D, it will be interesting tonight.
  4. Sounds like some of you might have lost something over the years....time to get it back.
  5. You do know that you are voted to the probowl by the guys you play against right?
  6. I was always very middle of the road when it came to Clinton. I didn't vote for him the first time around vs Bush Sr, but did think he did a pretty good job and voted for him the second time around. In hindsight, after 6 years of the current admin, I now love Clinton.
  7. How can people get pissed about this? It is actually ranked higher by the general public if you look at the list on the right. The Bills LOST 4 BOWLS in a row. That is a momumental f-up in the biggest sense of the word. Any Bill on those teams would have traded 1 win for 4 appearances...one of the biggest chokes in the history of sports, it was a bitter pill to swallow but sometimes the truth hurts.
  8. It his pick column against the spread. Would you bet on Kyle Boller?
  9. I would hazzard a guess, that whatever they do, the talent level is not going to exacty be top notch. Teeth optional, stretch marks required.....
  10. I hope Ralph lives well into his 100s, but I have a feeling if anything did happen, the Bills would be making a trip up the Queen E.
  11. HA!! My question is how long do we have to wait according to JP's dad (JSP) before something is actaully JP's fault? One of these days, the kiddie gloves will have to come off. IMHO, a third year player with 11 starts under his belt, not counting the preseason, should be able to shoulder some of the blame for that loss. You have four rookies on defense who sucked it up and almost shut out the Dolphins the week before. With this team right now, in order to win, different aspects of our team will need to step up every week. Last week, it was four rookies on D who picked up their game and shined. This week it was JP's opportunity and he blew it. It's sad, but it's the truth. The good news is there is no doubt in my mind he'll get another shot to be a hero, I just hope he learns from his mistakes.
  12. Yeah, neighbors who take care of their property and landscape on a regular basis must be a real pain in the ass.
  13. If the Lions went 1-1 by beating the Dolphins by 10 points, would you expect the national media to jerk off all over Detroit?
  14. Holy sh-t. Would you like to join my fantasy league next year?
  15. If you didn't already have Gore, I would have liked it. Living and dieing by the 49ers isn't a step I'd be willing to take yet.
  16. That was from Kimmel's prime time special about a month ago. It was staged, and pretty damn funny.
  17. Couldn't agree more. I like JP and think he could possibly develop into a solid quarterback in this league. He is the hometown guy, if you don't have hope, you don't have anything. With that said, if he was the starter for the Jets right now, I would agree 110% that he sucks.
  18. Can't you guys just agree to disagree? There is plenty of ammo on both sides of the fence based off of yesterdays game. The JP haters can point to the fact that he only completed short high percentage throws and nearly made the game a lot closer on a ball that was almost picked in the beginning of the fourth on a pass to Price. Then on the very next play he chews Gandy a new ass for a false start.....The JP ball washers can point to the fact the kid had zero turnovers and had no need to air it out as the game plan seemed to focus around grounding it out against a seemingly soft Miami run D. He made the passes that mattered, and played a safe, ball control game.
  19. I remember the days, when as a Bills fan, I could look past at least 8 games of the season, knowing they would be easy wins. Good times back then....
  20. Tiki is the safe bet but to be honest, there are about 5 or 6 running backs in the second tier who could go. In my fantasy draft yesterday Edge went 4, Tiki went 5, Steven Jackson went 6.
  21. Pardon my french, but what a sad sack of sh*t you must be. You want to know who Trooper Longobardo was? He was the same cop who comes to your kid's school to talk about drugs. He is the same cop who's balls you might bust when you see him at Tim Hortons. He is the same cop who arrives at the scene of a car accident and calms your wife down because she is hysterical. He is the same cop who is a first responder and will give everything he has when you father is dying of a heart attack and then cry afterwards when it wasn't enough. He is the same cop who will risk his life, and the well being of his own family, to protect sad sacks of sh*t like yourself. There might be some scared people on this board, but the folks who can relate to the tragedy of losing Trooper Longobardo aren't among them.
