  1. I don't know why. One of the knocks on him last year was he did not prepare like a starter and thus was not prepared when called upon. Not a great quality for a back up Don't think he looked great as a starter either. Go BILLS!!!
  2. Id have to look it up but that sounds right as i believe that's what got me saying it. I would say it to my Miami buddies and living in Orlando I have a few of them. It's fun tho. I could be misremembering..
  3. I always call it a perfect season when we beat Miami twice a year. GO BILLS!!!
  4. That's great! Love it! GO BILLS! GET LOUD BUFFALO!!!!
  5. Great post! I admit I was getting sucked into the negativity. I'm relieved we signed Orton. I'm looking forward to stuffing the run, it's been a long time since we've been good at that or even respectable. I want to see if Rivers can make things happen. I used to work with his uncle so I've always rooted for him. I know that rookie year was tough on him. Looking forward to some red zone touchdowns by land and air! OK I'm getting stoked! GO BILLS!!!
  6. Hope no one else has this one (avatar), but don't blame them if they do. BEST GET WELL WISHES Jim Kelly and sincere positive thoughts!
  7. Rest in peace Mr Wilson. One of my favorite Ralph Wilson memories has to do with an Andre Reed contract negotiation. Reed and Wilson met over the matter and Andre told Ralph that he bled Buffalo red white and blue. After hearing that Mr Wilson relented and said ok Reed ok. And gave Reed the contract. That story painted a picture in my mind and made me a bigger fan of both men. RIP Ralph Wilson and condolences to the Wilson family.
  8. Reed is still my all time favorite Bill. Too many to list but I remember I would always say/yell 'learn to REED!!!' when ever he made a big play. Thought I was pretty clever w that one lol. Just loved to watch him play, total stud, big time player for us and a well deserved Hall of Famer. Congrats Andre!!! Go Bills!
  9. I prefer to take the points. Just my preference. Goiing for it on 4th in the situation in quesiton and not making it is equilivant to taking three points off the board and/or giving the opponent 3 points. Also, getting STUFFED on that play was a big momentum changer. Come off the fileld with the field goal, and we still have some bounce in our step! Additionally, in my eyes, Marv Levy can do no wriong, ever! Love Marv and his book! I mean, where else would you rather be!?!?!?! GO BILLS!!!!! One more thing in reference to Bilicheat, when he went for it on 4th down on us in the season opener and we stopped them, I was going NUTS!!!!! LOVED IT! GO BILLS!!!!!
  10. I voted for other, as I am going with Kiko Alonso! In 6 games, he is better than all on that list! Though, I do love myself some Fred Jackson! GO BILLS!!!!!
  11. A little late on this, BUT, Marv Levy would kick the field goal and take the points, every single time. Just sayin. GO BILLS!!!!!
  12. Sweet! Thanks again! Getting ready for my flight GO BILLS!!!
  13. Holy crap!!!! It would be pretty spectacular if I could pull this off! Thanks for the great suggestion!!! Anybody else?
  14. Hi all, I will be heading to training camp some time this week or next. I am going with my 23 year old younger sister and my 12 year old son, Iam 43. I was hoping someone could tell me if there was ANYTHING else cool and fun to do in the area?? My son and I are coming up from Orlando and my sister lives in Holland NY. Any fun tips or suggestions that we could ALL enjoy is greatly appreciatted!!! Thanks in advance and GO BILLS!!!! Marc
  15. I was perplexed when Williams was named as a starter. I never saw anything from him lat year that made me think he was anything special. I prefer McKelvin. McKelvin is always THERE, just never seems to make the play, but he is always there step for step, he just needs to FINISH. I say start McKelvin over Williams. GO BILLS!
  16. I do agree that is the main point of the article. But as I read it I could not help but compare Dale Sr's injury, 'basilar skull fracture, an injury that occurs when the head tries to separate itself from the body' to former Bill, Kevin Everett's injury, 'a fracture and dislocation of the cervical spine'. Now it seems NASCAR has the answer with their head restraint. It made me wonder what the NFL can come up with equipment wise that could have prevented Kevin's injury. Otherwise it is the speed of the return game that was the issue with Kevin's injury. With regards to multiple concussions and the effects on NFL players. I do agree it is a problem. If there is a better helmet that prevents concusions and players refuse to wear them out of some sort of pride or old school traditions, that is just down right silly. If anyone is in the football equipment design industry, message me I think I have a great idea for a equipment improvement!...DISREGARD, I just googled it and it seems there is already a patent filed in 1997: http://www.google.com/patents/USRE36691 A football helmet and shoulder pad combination are designed to prevent head and neck injuries. An outer helmet is connected to a neck assembly which permits but limits head turning mobility as well as up-down and left and right head tilt. The neck mechanism which is mounted about the neck comprises substantially circular inner and -outer spherical guides and a concentric movable inner element therebetween with an upwardly extending member on each side of the neck. The guides contain stops to limit the motion permitted by the helmet and the lower portion of the mechanism is mounted on the shoulder pads to distribute the load during impact. The helmet portion with a resilient coupling joining the portions. The upwardly extending members on the inner element are mounted to respective sides of the outer helmet. The helmet may also be retrofitted to existing equipment.
