  1. AGREED! I was surprised to hear how old lee will be in 2012, someone said 32? How old was he when he came out of college? Did he play all four years?? Well done Bills!
  2. I have not seen JP sulking. I have seen him giving some congrats to players when they make big plays. BUT, I do notice he does not seem to be around Trent like Hamdan is. In one game there was a shot of all three of them together, but I only saw that once. I do wish JP success where ever he ends up. But, I am SOLD on Trent, and I think it is clear now the coaces made the right decision. GO BILLS!
  3. That was GREAT!!!! I too jumped up and down, it really is a natural HIGH, this football thing. Go BILLS!
  4. Interesting, let's compile a list shall we? OJ Riddick Thomas Henry Lynch any others? Kinnebrew???
  5. Yes. Especially when compared to murderers and child molesters who routinely get much LESS. I don't care who sells, buys or uses drugs. I really don't care. I'm not saying I want MY kids doing drugs. But it is MY job to educate them about the harm drug use can cause. I don't need the government to take care of this for me. Now, if some dirt bag lays a hand on my kids, well, that is something I DO have an issue with. Please see the movie Deathwish. Things just seem out of whack.
  6. I've been through this argument many times, with lots of friends of mine, and I don't want to hijack the thread. BUT, if illegal drug use is the problem, then make it legal, or decriminalize it. And, I’m not just talking about weed, I am talking about ALL drugs. Legalize it and tax it. If terrorists are making money on illegal drugs then legalize it, another problem solved. The war on drugs is a JOKE. Alcohol is the most POWERFUL drug there is. Totally LEGAL. Buy it at ANY store. In FACT we have alcohol dispensing stations all over the country, they are called bars and restaurants. Put the money towards education and counseling. The truth is the war on drugs will never go away as law enforcement makes tons of money with unconstitional seizures of property and such. Again, just my opinion, but I think it’s RIGHT.
  7. IF he gets twenty years, something is VERY WRONG with the judicial/legal system, or basicly the drug laws in general. Just my opinion, but I am sure there are bigger problems law enforcement can be looking into. Really, do we need a DEA???? Again, just my two cents.
  8. I think the fact that we did not have another fullback on the roster did not help Barnes' cause. Unfortunately for him the Bills can not sit around and wait for him to get healthy. The harsh feality of pro football. Seems unfair at times, but clearly the interest of the team comes first.
  9. DAMN. Funny, cause I corrected a spelling error in the same word, and apparently missed that one, or delted once too many. GO BILLS!
  10. Thanks! I had the same problem as well. It was rather tedious reading posts that way. It was taking the ejoyment out of the site for me. Thanks again! GO BILLS!
  11. 118 No margin for error here. Get er done Lee. GO BILLS!
  12. God, I LOVE Marv Levy SO MUCH, he is a precious angel sent from heaven! No sarcasim. GO BILLS! p.s. I added myself an avatar.
  13. DITTO. As a side note, I work with Rivers' uncle. Nice guy. Word. GO BILLS!
  14. I wonder who blew chunks? IF it was a home game, I was gonna ask, who ralphed at THE RALPH? GO BILLS!
  15. Works for ME! Orlando is subject to the blackout. NOW, I get to watch it at home in full HDTV glory! I can't make it to the game this year ( I went last year...ARGHHH!!!)so this is the next best thing! J-ville is actually a pretty fun stadium, btw. GO BILLS! p.s. First post in a while after lurking for SOME time...
  16. Living in Orlando my teams are as follows: Bills Sabres Braves Magic I admit, I don't watch much regular season hockey, but I LOVE Playoff hockey, and will watch as many Sabres Play off games as possible. Also, I don't follow the Braves like I used to, I don't seem to have the patience for baseball so much anymore. BUT, I LOVE Spriing Training games, go and see the Astros in St.Cloud, and we have a blast, tailgating and what not. Also, go and see the Braves at Disney. But, really I am a BILLS fan, follow them year round. But, the Sabres and the Magic (if they make the play offs), should be a nice distraction leading up to the draft.
  17. I just got done reading Tasker's book. It really is a great quick read. Lots of stuff from the glory years. This would be a great book for the toilet, as it is broken down into small paragraphs, with thier own headings. Anyway, just a great book, and reminded me just how special those Super Bowl years/teams were, and just how many GREAT players we had. I watched all of those games back then, and when he retold some stories, it was 'hey, I remember that!, that was awesome!' Like 21 points or something in 77 seconds against Denver. I remember dancing around the sports bar when that happened. And, just a bunch more. Told how he got ejected from his last game, pro bowl mvp, Kelly's pregame ritual of puking. Ok, that is all. Just a big Tasker fan here. P.S. If Steve reads this please feel free to send me an autographed copy for the plug!
  18. I do hear ya, and I don't think I would take a chance on Bush either, but under this philosophy the Bills would have passed on Thurman Thomas............
  19. I don't miss Ruben's requisite one off sides call per game, ALWAYS at least one. Must admit, the O-line these days gets more than their fair share of penalties too. And, I agree his replacements are not stellar. But, those off sides penalties used to drive me nuts. I could never understand how our pro bowl lineman would always get that call EVERY SINGLE GAME. It made me think he had some kind of strange off sides birth defect or something. I recall he even mentioned this on the Eric Moulds show. Something like he hast to get it 'out of the way'. And, then he went on and talked about how players have to be more disciplined. How bout this Ruben? Just stay onsides. Hey, maybe Marv should go get him then?
  20. I for one do not miss Ruben Brown. But, if I was the GM, I would have kept Flutie. But, I think the Flutie/Johnson debate is covered ground on this board. I live in Orlando, and went up two years back and saw the Buffalo/Washington game. It was great when RJ came into the game, and we booed the crap out of him., and then kicked his a$$. I think he was cut the next day. That was a fun game! On a side note, at that Washington game, I was on the skins side of the field. I saw Bruce Smith, And, I yelled out 'we love you Bruce', I swear he looked right at me. I got goose bumps. Talley was put on the wall that night, and all of the glory years alum were there, Kelly/Thomas/Hull etc. Did I mention what a great game that was? Go Bills!
  21. I am a little surprised with all of the Riemersma bashing I have been reading. I liked him. I thought he made plays for us. Could get down field. Not sure how good of a blocker he was, but I think we asked him to be more of a reciever. People are saying he dropped a lot of passes. I could say the same for Moulds, I have watched him drop plenty.
  22. I just read an article (on two billsdrive) that was giving the Bills new D-line coach credit for making Bryce Fisher a decent D-lineman. This is the guy that Butler drafted who had the Air Force commitment right? Yet, another guy Donahoe let go. I recall ESPN's Tom Jackson stating during Williams' first season, that the Bills were not gonna win many games with guys like Bryce Fisher, almost laughed at his ability. Well, if this new d-line coach worked wonders with Fisher, maybe he can work 'Densay' into shape, and get more production from those two. Makes me think this was a good hire. Go Juaron! I am gonna give this guy (Juaron) a chance. And, how bout Fisher? Get's drafted, has to fulfill his two year commitment to the Air Force before he can play, and here he is in the league all these years later, playing for Seattle apparently, and going to the Super Bowl to boot. Good for him. I know this is not a question, but rather some observations and comments. But, so are most of my posts. Go Bills!
  23. Not overly impressed with Modrak. I hope he is better alone without Donahoe. I know Modrak is given a lot of credit for the Eagles success, and they went to a bunch of NFC Championships games. I don't know who would be a good replacement. And, it takes a while to truly judge a draft, but a lot of these Donahoe/Modrak drafts don't look so hot. But, we don't have anybody else, so I am rooting for his and the Bill's success. What kind of name is Modrak anyhow? Sounds like he is Spock's half brother or something. Live long and prosper, Modrak. Go Bills!
