  1. I actually bought his cd on-line from a record store in Birmingham, one of those independent, sell at your shows kind of cd's. It is very good. A soulfull bluesy cd where almost every song is worth listening to. I would difinitely buy this kind of cd and go see him if he played a small enough venue, like the Tabernacle in Atlanta. I think his live shows would be very entertaining.
  2. That was very cool. Man I would love to try that if I didn't think I'd probably die.
  3. Gotta admit, that was damn funny. Is his name Dr. Irrelevant?
  4. I kept saying the same thing. Just play the tape for Karen Hayes at CTU so that she can make a recording. That way, the Persident is less likely to try and kill him because there is more than 1 copy. Also, with all of the effort that went into securing that recording, why do you send Chloe off by herself, unguarded, to get the tape "ready to be played".
  5. I find it a bit odd that Spikes said this about the new Defense: When asked what he thought of what he’s seen of the new defense, Spikes had an interesting response. “It’s hard to tell. I’m frustrated,” he said. “Hopefully we get everything together as far as understanding the concept (of the new defense).” But Donte Whitner said this: "The defense is pretty simple," Whitner said. "We're trying to fine-tune it, watch some film and talking to the coaches and, you know, just keep learning." Hopefully Spikes is just frustrated because he's not able to run the defense yet, not that he is confused by it.
  6. no way. Mid rounder at best. 8-8, 9-7, something like that.
  7. Damn, the Giants added Sir Henry Anderson from Oregon State. I think he'll make the team and become a player in a few years. He was the other guy I hoped we'd sign besides Anwar Phillips (who signed with New Orleans).
  8. I agree that is my prediction as well. The way I see it, is Taylor would not be a good American Idol but he does however have a future in music. I picture him as the next Jimmy Buffett. He may not have any hit cd's or success on the "charts" but he will be able to tour the county and have a large cult following ala Buffett, Phish, Widespread Panic etc... He already has his own "parrotheads" with the Soul Patrol and he is a fun entertainer to watch with all of his antics on stage. I believe he has the charisma to be very successful in this kind of role.

  10. Great statement. He's not just adding name players to make a splash in the headlines. Levy seems to have a consistant plan in mind with each of these additions. McNair was a very good player but adding him to our roster would be taking a step backwords. Just say no...
  11. Allen definitely has to be considered an injury risk until he proves otherwise.
  12. Amen, I loved her second performance. I had never heard the song before but I liked her version. I also liked the way she looked while she sang. I noticed that Simon apologized for dissing her last week, I thought she did better than they said. I think Paris is finally gone...
  13. He said we reached into the future for this pick.
  14. I like what Pat Kirwin said about Peter Warrick at number 4 to the Bengals. He is like Jerry Rice in his on-field performances. In the next few years, he and QB Akili Smith (last year's first-round pick) could team up like Peyton Manning and Marvin Harrison have. This is why I disregard what the "experts" say.
  15. Peter King gave us a B+. He loved the Corey Moore pick. 5th best in the league. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/inside_ga...4/16/king_mmqb/ 5. Buffalo. Pick 89 overall, Corey Moore, will be one of those classic Bills picks (they always get a very good player after the first round, every year), the kind of player GMs will regret passing on.
  16. I love this one: BUFFALO RB Travis Henry. He indeed has second-round talent, but is he really an upgrade over what the Bills already have? Sammy Morris and Shawn Bryson could keep Henry on the bench as a rookie. He proved 'em wrong for a little while.
  17. That's what I tend to believe as well. This board would have gone crazy, even more than it did, because a lot of the fans wanted Huff.
  18. Everyone is looking for the next Antonio Gates. This is such a copy cat league...
  19. "This is all a good story," Rams coach Scott Linehan said. "I hope he's a good running back." I'm glad they did their research before they signed him. Kinda sounds like a publicity stunt to me.
  20. if Huff had been on the board at #8. My initial guess is to say no but Whitner claims Buffalo told him they would take him if D'Brickashaw was off the board. We would have been second guessed even more if this would have happened.
