I think we fall somewhere in the middle of the pack but I know we are considered one of the small market teams. Is Buffalo one of the teams voting against the new revenue share? As reported earlier this week by ESPN.com, there is a bloc of nine to 10 low-revenue franchises, very solid in their convictions, and prepared to veto any extension to the collective bargaining agreement that does not sufficiently address their own local needs. Owners of those teams view the internal revenue-sharing issue as critical to their financial viability in coming years. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2355190

We are going to resign our LS right?
buffaloboyinATL replied to Gotta Dream's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You're right, he's still got some football left in him. He shouldn't resign, we should just RE-SIGN him. -
the tight end has a HUGE part of the qb's play.

My bad, I actually thought Gates was 6'7" or 6'8". I guess I just made that assumption because of his basketball background and the way he plays. I stand corrected. -

I agree with that arguement and I know that Vernon Davis is very talented but is he the same kind of player as Gates? What I mean is, Gates is very tall and can pull down any pass that gets near him. I believe Davis has good hands but he is several inches shorter than Gates. His specialty seems to be playing similar to a WR by stretching the field etc... Would he be an easy outlet for JP the same way Gates is for Brees... Not sure. -
I'm not sure Chad Greenway should be in the top 15 anymore and I personally think DeAngelo Williams should slip a few spots.
-
I like his performance in Face-Off with him and John Travolta. I always say they they should do a prequel of that movie with his character Castor Troy. He played it way over the top but I enjoyed it.
-
you get to say, just kidding, pretend that never happened.... My guess is teams are cutting players that they would cut whether a new agreement is reached or not.
-
So if an agreement is reached, does that mean the start of Free Agency will be delayed again to allow teams time to adjust?
-
By not paying the bonus it voids the remaining 3 years of the deal. I've never heard of a $50 million roster bonus before though. I don't believe any team would/could ever pay that for any player.

Are you sure?

Holy Crap! I just went to the web site to check it out and I was right, they have us getting DE Parys Haralson with our first pick in the 3rd and Jason Allen with the second 3rd rounder! This would be the fantasy draft of all time. Must have been done by a Bills fan. http://www.nfldraftforecast.com/Mock/2006/round3.shtml

Hotter: Nick Lachey's ex-wife or new gf?
buffaloboyinATL replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For some reason the new girl looks like she would sound like Fran Drescher when she talks. Scary... -
No doubt. That would be awesome, almost best case scenario. Now just tell me Jason Allen from Tenn drops to us in the 3rd and I'm loving life.

Wow! 200 Players could be released today???
buffaloboyinATL replied to Mike32282's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I actually wish the CBA would get signed today because that would put the Bills somewhare between $25-$28 million below the new salary cap. Granted there would be other teams in even better shape but still, that is a lot of money to play with. -
Now that Adams is gone - Why do we take Ngata?
buffaloboyinATL replied to firstngoal's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I could see smaller quicker (high-motor?) guys at other positions on Defense but IMO you have to have big penetrating guy in the middle to disrupt the Offense and force plays outside of the tackles so that the faster D players can track them down. Ngata or someone like him in the middle would make a fast Defense more effective. -
If we're gonna draft a TE this year I say we

Kzoo, I found this bigboard list on Billszone, not sure who put it together but it had both of the Western Michigan boys listed as players the Bills should consider in the later rounds. Did you create the list? http://www.billszone.com/mtlog/archives/20...t_big_board.php -
Why don't you just cut........
buffaloboyinATL replied to sven233's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
agreed, you can't cut Fletcher, even in a strange cut everyone senario such as this one. -
Huh? From USA Today sports...

Some cap info on all teams and which
buffaloboyinATL replied to buffaloboyinATL's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can't believe the Titans are still that far over the cap after the blood letting that they had last season. -
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2349505 Below is the amount of money each team is under or over the $92 million salary cap as of March 1. The current list of cap numbers does not include the salaries of restricted and exclusive-rights players. When teams find out what the value of those tenders will be, the cap number is expected to be adjusted before Thursday, adding $1 million or $2 million to the total number for each team. Please note, this list will change rapidly as teams begin cutting players over the next day to get under the salary cap by Thursday's 4 ET deadline (4 ET is the end of the NFL's business day and no player can be cut after the close of business). Under the salary cap Team Cap status (under) Minnesota Vikings $24 million Arizona Cardinals $21.8 million Cleveland Browns $21.5 million Green Bay Packers $21 million San Francisco 49ers $17.4 million San Diego Chargers $17.1 million Jacksonville Jaguars $14.2 million Philadelphia Eagles $14.2 million Baltimore Ravens $11.9 million Detroit Lions $10.6 million St. Louis Rams $10.6 million Seattle Seahawks $9.5 million Cincinnati Bengals $9 million New Orleans Saints $8.2 million Chicago Bears $7.8 million Houston Texans $4 million New York Giants $3.3 million Buffalo Bills $2 million New England Patriots $1.5 million Over the salary cap Team Cap status (over) Oakland Raiders $26 million Miami Dolphins $21.9 million Kansas City Chiefs $20.7 million Tennessee Titans $18.7 million Washington Redskins $17 million Denver Broncos $16.4 million Carolina Panthers $12.7 million Atlanta Falcons $11.7 million New York Jets $11.1 million Indianapolis Colts $9.4 million Tampa Bay Buccaneers $8.7 million Pittsburgh Steelers $7 million Dallas Cowboys $1.2 million

Anyone see Jason Allen from Tenn. at
buffaloboyinATL replied to buffaloboyinATL's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Tennessee, do you think he will play corner or safety in the NFL? Did you see much of him while he played at Tenn? Aside from being flattened by Ronnie Brown a few times, how did he play? I noticed he was the leading tackler in '04.
