  1. I'd like to keep 6 receivers if possible but no way that Everett gets cut. He started to show some of his upside in pre-season and we are not going to have 2 TE's in this offense.
  2. My guess right now would be Reed. He looks as though he may finally turn the corner and become the slot receiver we have been hoping he'd become. As far Parrish goes, he looks good at times but I almost feel as though I'm missing something. Every keeps talking about his big play ability and how he "makes things happen" when he has the ball, but I haven't seen much of that yet. Even when he has worked as the punt returner I keep expecting more from him. Based on his college reputation he should be more like McGee is on the kick-off returns but I don't believe he is. I want to be impressed by Parrish but it seems like he has not broken out yet. edit: Coach Tuesday, I just read your response, I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that way.
  3. ROTFL = rolling on the floor laughing
  4. I agree on Cowart. He was one of my favorite Bills when he was here and it was sad to see him go. What could have been...
  5. I was under the impression that with the NFL ticket superfan package, most if not all of the games will be available in HD. Does anyone know if this is the case? Fez?
  6. They are doing the no huddle show tonight as well so we should be able to catch some highlights.
  7. Yeah, I disagree that it was a sham. Holcomb could have easily done a great job when he came in as a back-up in the second game but he did not. They gave Losman an opportunity to sink or swim and he swam. Anyone paying attention to this QB battle has to agree that Losman looked better in almost every aspect of the game, accuracy, mobility, play making ability etc.. Mort went by what he heard others say, not by what he observed.
  8. I knew that, my point is that we would not be looking at a veteran if we were happy with Holcomb.
  9. Out of curiosity, who sent you the e-mail. That may speak to the accuracy of this report. I see no mention of it anywhere on-line.
  10. He "confirmed" that Buffalo was one of several teams talking to Collins but that Collins felt that his best chance to start was in Tennessee. I don't put too much faith in what he says but if true that means Holcomb is on thin ice, as many of us suspect. He also said that the Vikings are showing interest in Deion Branch. I found an article backing that claim. http://www.startribune.com/510/story/636989.html
  11. But Joe Theisman said he detected some odd glitch in how Big Ben looked last week and he felt as though he would have a bad year. Theisman said it so it must be true.
  12. Awesome! I am happy that has been handled.
  13. Animal Kingdom was pretty cool, I went there with the wife and kids and we all enjoyed seeing the animals right outside the window. I agree with a few of the people who said Grand Floridian, Yacht Club or one of the more luxury resorts might be better for the Honeymoon, but you can't go wrong with Animal Kingdom Lodge either. One this to consider is which parks you plan to go to and their proximity to the resorts, could save you a good amount of time on shuttles, etc. Congratulations and have a great time.
  14. I was going to say she look a bit more curvy.
  15. Maybe the opposing teams fans were thinking more positively than we were.
  16. Bills, I'm a way bigger football fan than hockey. I enjoy the Sabres games but I LOVE football.
  17. So you are angling for the all Louisianna College QB team eh?
  18. That's how I see it too. It's kind of like, "if I'd of had another week or two to evaluate Nall you might not be the starter, so, good luck and go get 'em."
  19. I say yes. Someone made a comment earlier that if we wait until next week to make the call it looks as though he won the position by default. Yes, he may be motivated by competition but he may also be motivated by winning the competition. Says the Bills are JP's team, let the veterans rally around him and get ready for week 1.
  20. At least this makes me happy: Losman had the best pass of the day a 50-yard bomb to Evans right on his fingertips in stride for a touchdown to beat Clements and Vincent over the top. It wasn't that Clements didn't have good coverage, it's just that the ball was put in a perfect spot.
  21. I agree completely. The formation penalty took away a great rushing touchdown by JP. We need to work together as a team and get some disipline very quickly or this will be a long season. The good news is hopefully these are just growing pains in a new system and they will decrease over the next couple of games.
