Bills fan since 1964, born and raised in Buffalo and still have family there. Have lived all over the country, following work/career. Married over 40 years and have 4 sons and 9 grandchildren. I'm an Independent politically and tend to be conservative on most issues. Rabid Bills fan and am a lurker on TBD and had come down to PPP a few times. I semi retired a year ago and stumbled on a DR post that got me hooked and the rest is history.

It's baffling to me why some here would like PPP taken down. Why not just leave? Seems like common sense?

I would argue that we need sites like this as sounding boards for free thinkers to exchange thoughts regardless of whether they agree with them or each other now more than ever.

SDS, DR was extremely patient and always offered legitimate retorts to those that would ask with some civility. The others wore him down and used his passion against him. I would argue that you have made a grave mistake banning anyone, especially DR. We all come here of our own free will and if we can't take the heat, we should leave. When you start listening to the fans in the seats as Marv once said, you'll soon be sitting with them. You have created a beautiful place to exchange thoughts and opinions the way it should be, free from censorship. Thanks for taking the time to formally respond to the outrage regarding DR . DR lives by his own rules and we all have to respect that. I will miss his perspective and passion, but there are many others who contribute interesting insightful comments. Unfortunately for those people, the board has attracted an element of empty suits whose sole purpose seems to be to disrupt and antagonize.

Why don't you worry about your own opinion and not the image of this board. We're not coming here to make somebody else happy. We post and read what interests us.

I feel the mods owe us an explanation for removing someone from the board. It would help us all to know what can cause a user to be banned. It's disappointing to come to a political forum in a free country and then find censorship defies logic.
