  1. Good one! Here's another one... Chris Kelsay sucks so bad, Canada likes him.
  2. Love the creative mocking of Kelsay. I couldn't help but to be inspired. In the vein of "Chicuk Norris is so tough" jokes... Chris Kelsay sucks so bad, that when the Bills decided to trade him for nothing even the Lions thought they were getting robbed in the deal. Chris Kelsay sucks so bad, Hollywood's thinking of replacing Keanu Reeves with him. Chris Kelsay sucks so bad, that Paris Hilton has decided to sue for copyright infringement. Chris Kelsay sucks so bad, even the standing red Buffalo has better moves than him.
  3. The question was framed regarding how and when Trent would receive an extension. In order for him to get an extension he's going to have to put up some damn good numbers like 24 plus touchdowns. It was not weather he would be deemed as having a "good" season or not. I think the pass/fail stat line for Trent is 20 touchdowns. If he gets less then that (in a full 16 game season with him, TO and Evans) cut bait, equal or more then we can talk. Like it or not, there are some very real expectations by ownership, media and the fans regarding the head coach and the starting QB this year.
  4. If he can't throw at least 24 touchdowns this year with TO, Evans and co. then that's a big problem. There's a lot of question marks regarding Edwards being rugged enough both mentally and physically that I hope are answered one way or the other this season. I lean towards him not being the guy we thought he was going to be with his early success in his first season. The silver lining is if he does crap out then the Bills will no doubt be drafting very high in the 2010 draft. Prime real estate for getting a very good QB prospect.
  5. Trent's checklist for an extension... Throw for 24 plus touchdowns Beat a few good teams Go at least 3-3 vs the AFC east Don't look bad in bad weather Don't get injured
  6. I wonder if Ralph and Dick will leave the stage together. Didn't Ralph mention as much last season? It was probably said somewhat in jest, but I think there's the possibility that Ralph decides that what's best for all involved is after his fifty year run and a $25,000 investment, for the Bills to have brand new ownership. Is he really ready to go through the hiring/rebuilding process for the fifth time since the end of the Bills Superbowl teams era? However, there's no way Dick is fired during the season. No matter how bad it gets.
  7. "He has his faults" ranks right up there with "he's not the greatest coach" as the most laughable understatements ever to describe Dick Jauron. Amazingly enough, Dick is still employed and getting paid good money to be the head coach of the Bills, so if he or his supporters can't handle the truth, then that's just tough. It goes with the territory.
  8. Instead of calling him a smart mouth and a cancer, how about arguing with him why you think that Dick Jauron has the same skill set and capacity to successfully coach TO that Bill Belichick has. Jauron have proven to be a laughably bad head coach who coaches like he's afraid of his own freaking shadow. His only winning season in Chicago is widely considered the luckiest season in NFL history. Feel free to have all of the optimism in the world, but don't feel like you can disparage and name call the detractors and not get called out on it.
  9. Hey, amazingly Dick Jauron still has yet another season (what's this, season number 9 for Dick?) to prove all of the doubters wrong. Moulds' candor is so refreshing and was absolutely on point. I don't see the irony in TO's opinion then, and Moulds' opinion now. That's an apples to oranges comparison. Moulds is a retired player and a former Bill who thankfully had the balls to give a brutally honest opinion.
  10. Tipster19 = man in serious denial
  11. Are you kidding me? I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, Eric Moulds' comments!!!! It's about time this dog and pony show known as the "Dick Jauron Era" were taken to task by an actual former Buffalo Bill. I can only hope that Kelly and the rest can get religion, stop with the patronizing politically correct palp, stop pull punches and start calling things as they see it. Jauron is one of the worst head coaches in the history of the NFL. I would love to be proven wrong this year, but I think that Jauron and the Bills have a disaster 5 or 6 win season in 2009. It won't be because of the talent, it will be because once he loses this team (I'm sure their faith in him is hanging on by a thread) this team will stop playing for him. If I were a local Buffalo sports radio station, I'd hire Eric in a split-second! Every time I hear Jim Miller and Vic Carruci tell Sirius radio listeners about how great the "continuity" is in Buffalo because Dick Jauron is here, I want to puke. The only ones that are making any sense are Eric Moulds and the growing group of intelligent Bills fans who are basically calling Dick Jauron a village idiot. Who knew that Moulds was such a big Bills fan! That was an awesome comment! Thank you Eric!
  12. Either he's dumb or he's being insincere by misrepresenting what's wrong with this team in fear of burning his lifelong bridges with the organization.
  13. Sorry, but Vic Carucci is a clown too. The guy has been such a big Dick Jauron apologist on Sirius NFL radio that I lost ALL respect for that guy. Last year he'd never fail to get me angry while giving his moronic and backward opinions about the Bills. He can shove his "continuity" and "it's the player's fault" arguments you know where.
  14. I wasn't laughing at the Patriots.
  15. This isn't about Brett Favre as much as it's about the era of the 24 hour sports cable channels, 24 hour sports radio and 24 hour internet websites dedicated to the biggest sport in America. Favre is a guy that had a very good career and who may or may not still want to try to play in the twilight of his career. Is that a big deal because all of these media outlets say it is? Or are we really just being played by the media and not by Brett Favre as they love to suggest over and over and over again. I'll be kind of glad if he's coming back if only to show how these big "scoops" and countless articles regarding Brett's retirement were all a waste of time to anyone who cared to write or read them. I mean, how many years has this been a story???? Unless it's my team their talking about, I frankly don't give a rats ass. I'm not fascinated by these stories, just because they tell us these are really big stories.
  16. Hey, let's take a look at the wonderful accomplishments of the Patriots' 2nd round 2008 pick, shall we.... http://www.nfl.com/players/shawncrable/gamelogs?id=CRA050645
  17. I'm not saying he would or ever did show up out of shape. I was merely trying to argue with someone who thought he was too fat a load to handle the fast-paced no huddle offense. That if his size were ever an issue, that it shouldn't be the determining factor of whether or not to go no huddle.
  18. Is it too much to ask Walker to get in shape? If he can't then maybe D. Bell is our guy. Desperate times call for desperate measures. This team has not good, but great skill talent and the no huddle just might be the ticket to much bigger things for our team. The Bills have a big advantage playing the Pats in the first game with Belichick having no film on the 2009 version. If the Bills choose to not change anything then they will no doubt lose that game, but if they do something completely different like the Dolphins did last year then they indeed have a shot. You need not worry because Dick Jauron doesn't have the balls to do what the Dolphins did last year. Getting your popcorn ready to watch paint dry Part IV.
  19. He's said to have great instincts and a nose for where the ball is going. That sounds like the perfect guy to me.
  20. Thanks! Life's too short to spell check everything!
  21. Exactly how much water do you have to throw on this bonfire of radical change? Either get him in damn shape or rotate Bell or someone else in there, If the Bills were to do this they would have to employ a great conditioning program to gear up for the rigors of this system.
  22. You know, it's exactly this kind of fearful stick your head in the sand reasoning that was being ignored by the Dolphins which helped give the Patriots an ass-wuppin' they soon couldn't forget. My Bills team would be the ones up by 30 and if they did end up getting their ass kicked...well they went down trying something different than the conservative play not to lose crap that obviously DIDN'T work the last half dozen times they played.
  23. Trent's only allowed to hold the ball for one and a half seconds unless it's a middle screen pass just to tire them out even more. Seriously.
  24. Yes, it will be easy for them after the fourth play when the Pats are sucking air.
  25. ...throw out your WORTHLESS stale game plans and come up with something COMPLETELY DIFFERENT! 2009 is your last shot at the rodeo fella...you know it, we know it, everybody knows it. I know this is a crazy mind blowing idea to grasp ahold of, but don't you think that it is to YOUR advantage that they are playing you the first game of the season without them having any film on what if any changes you've made? The Pats are going to expect the expected from you, because it's all that you've ever given them. Your boring and predictable game plans are like clockwork to them. Here's my crazy idea on defense...go man to man with one guy as the safety net (Byrd). And yes, there is no Whitner. He sucks and we are playing the best guys for the job for a change. You need to keep the front seven players around the line of scrimmage in constant motion with a healthy dose of blitzing by Poz and Mitchell. You should also drop Maybin in coverage from time to time in coordination of said blitzing linebackers. Trick them, knock Brady on his ass for once! Byrd - center field McKelvin - moss McGee - welker Florence - galloway Harris OLB Poz MLB Mitchell OLB Schoebel DE Stroud DT Williams DT Maybin DE Here's my crazy idea on offense...no huddle. A very fast paced no huddle. I know this is being talked about over there, but there is alway a HUGE disconnect to what you say you're going to do and what happens on Sundays. Make this offense a controlled chaos. Give Trent a system where he is calling the plays at a breakneck pace with the point of trying to score a minimum of 30 points on the Pats defense. Throw caution to the wind and rotate in Johnson and Hardy to keep the receivers fresh. I know this isn't ground breaking, but maybe you can come up with something like the Dolphins did with their wildcat rollout which completely baffled the Pats. The point is to give them fits with stuff they've never seen coming from Dick "Mr. Vanilla" Jauron, head coach. Evans WR Owens WR Reed WR Nelson TE Jackson RB Edwards QB Walker LT Levitre LG Hangartner C Wood RG Butler RT Please feel free to add your own game plan twists that could surprise the Pats.
