...and the chosen one wonders why Americans are balking at the prospect of the government being in charge of health care. Reminds me of the hospital "pillow to face" scene in the Godfather. Very few states left NOT being run by criminals IMO.

It's not even about the expectations of him producing. We all know that the country was in the crapper before he took over and that any recovery was going to take time. It's more about him saying one thing on the campaign trail, talking about being a moderate who will reach across the isle, then once in office dramatically making a hard left turn by letting the liberals take over the policy making. Americans gave him the benefit of the doubt when he first ramrodded the 700 billion dollar economic "stimulus" bill which no one who voted for it actually read. An over 1000 page bill which was voted on only three days after it was finished. The reason was supposed to be that Americans can't wait for this money to be spent. Well six months later only 7% of the "stimulus" has actually been spent. It was clearly NEVER going to be something that helped average Americans. If you look at the recent poles, it appears that the dopes that bought his bull__t the first time are waking up fast on the heels of this healthcare bill fiasco.

I knew this day would come. Mr. "I'm the President" likes BEING President, not the actual sitting down and doing the f'ing job. Here's a guy that had the "audacity" to think that two short years as a US Senator was enough toiling for him and decided it was time to stop working and go and do what he does best, talk talk talk in front of embarrassingly fawning audiences and media for two years running for the biggest office in the country. Once he was elected he just gave the "work" part to the far left loonies in DC. To paraphrase his angry radical spiritual leader..."Obama's chickens...are coming home". This pathetic attempt at the "Chicago style" ramrodding of an over 1000 page health care plan that no one can apparently explain what it does or what the costs will be to the American people is simply outrageous.

EVERY TOUCHDOWN FROM 2008-2009 SEASON
1billsfan replied to Glass To The Arson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For as feeble a team the Bills were at scoring touchdowns in '08 (23rd in the NFL), when you string them together it looks exciting. I don't ever remember watching an NFL team making the process of scoring touchdowns look so painful as I did watching the Bills last season. The Bills should hire the OP for a new marketing plan. Damn, look how exciting we were in '08! Everyone's back and TO too! Step right up Bills fans for the Greatest Show on Earth! -

Him and his liberal buddies are very upset because she's now free to sober up the jackasses who helped vote in their leader. -
I am sick of hearing about how our coaching sucks....
1billsfan replied to SKOOBY's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is just so ridiculous. You guys have to stop with the comparisons of Belichick and Jauron. You could not have a wider gap of coaching abilities if you put a thousand Grand Canyons side by side. Please stop. Just a quick look at their pre-head coaching resumes shows you all you need to know about who and what they would become... Exhibit A: Belichick is considered the best and most innovative defensive coordinator in the history of the NFL. Exhibit B: Dick Jauron had three ok but average years as the Jaguars defensive coordinator. A team that won because of their offense and the head coaching of Tom Coughlin. Baring a freaking miracle in Orchard Park, it's over for Dick Jauron. You don't all of a sudden "get it" at his age. At his age you've either been there done that or you are what your record says you are. The fact that an unknown and inexperienced guy like Matt Cassel had the year he had in '08 tells you that Bill Belichick is lightyears ahead of Dick Jauron. These two men literally are polar opposites in terms of coaching. -

http://www.slate.com/id/2218602/ Well at least that bitter plagiarizing left wing kook is only pretending to lift sh_t this time. Sorry, but that catty piece screams Dowd's obvious insecurity with regards to Palin..."She's even prettier than me even in an f'ing fishing bib!!!!" -

That's why she has so many of the Washington republicans panties in a bunch over her. The Washington establishment in both parties are petrified of a truly monumental shift in the political arena, where people start voting in "ordinary" and "average" Americans with "lousy" educational credentials like Sarah Palin. I think there's a very real anger towards these DC lawyers turned politicians. No matter how much they try and dismiss her right now, I think she's a perceived threat to everybody. It's amazing to me how much venum she is able to extract from people who don't like her. The reaction is so over the top. For the record, I liked what she had to say during the last election but I'm not ready to support her for President. I like what Palin represents as far as wanting to vote for a REAL Washington outsider who will shake the you-know-what out of that place. -

Keep fighting the good fight Kelly. I'm afraid it's going to be a long four years for you, trying to explain why the liberals are so darn intelligent while they're driving our country off a cliff. -

You seem to be oh so impressed by the current crop of ivy league educated lawyers turned politicians in Washington. Because as we all know by now, they've done such a bang up job for the American people. I mean, just look at that gem of a 9.5 unemployment rate and don't forget America's dazzling trillions of dollars in debt. Just imagine the mess our country would be in if we didn't HAVE all these "intelligent", ivy league educated lawyers turned politicians in Washington. I've figured out why you're so fixated and threatened by that darn "stupid" Sarah Palin. It's starting to dawn on you that there might be a REAL political revolution (and not that fake "change you can believe in" load of crap) ahead. You can already imagine the possibilities of Americans throwing out all of these so-called "intelligent" bums you so admire, and start electing some folksy talkin' people with degrees from (gasp!)...small colleges. -
I think Brady would have had around 24 TDs with our 2008 group. Flawed? Yes. But certainly not as anemic as last years numbers would make you think. The QB and coaches need to show some confidence in themselves and the skilled players in '09.
-
Sorry, but I don't buy into the whole "receivers don't get open" stuff. With the speed of today's secondaries it's rare that receivers are open. The QBs today who have successes are the one's who aren't afraid to throw it to guys that are covered. The Cardinals do this, Giants do this, Steelers, Patriots, and on and on. For whatever reason the Bills refuse to do this in favor of the "safe" check down passes. Either Edwards doesn't trust himself enough to do this, or the coaches have him too petrified of throwing interceptions. Trent is going to have to put on his big boy pants in '09 and throw the ball to guys that aren't "wide open" down the field and trust that with a quick release, the accuracy of his arm and the aggressiveness of his receivers that the Bills will hit the jackpot of points this season. As for the O-line, the only reason they were able to even have pedestrian numbers was because of Lynch's heart. Last year's line couldn't get a push against high schoolers.

That's a pathetic response. It's so sad watching a liberal who doesn't know what to say when he doesn't have George Bush to kick anymore. Now they're only left with beating down Sarah Palin! You're too freaking funny man. -

Fan of Palin? Yes. Hitching my wagon to her in July, 2009? No way. Angry at the clowns (FYI, they just swore in the newest clown Al Frankin today) in the government and think they should all be thrown out? Hell yes. -

As opposed to the brilliance of your cult following of the savior who's bankrupting our country? The same guy who goes "uh, uh, um, uh, uh, um" when his binky (AKA teleprompter) is broke? Who's so confident in his brilliance that he uses plants and prearranged questioned at a supposed public "townhall" meetings? I didn't realize that cowardly burdening your children's children with trillions of dollars of debt was so freaking brilliant. How's that tax and overspend working for California and New York State? Being that you're a liberal you probably don't know the word, but it's called being irresponsible. It didn't take long for you guys to start shaking in your boots. Nowadays, that's about the only thing that's transparent about you liberals. -

What I got out of that very cryptic speech was that she was tired of fighting with one arm tied behind her back (it wasn't in the speech, but $500,000 in legal bills with a job that pays $140,000 can help force a change of plans also). The quitting thing will hurt her for a little bit, but when the money and growing cult status start piling up you will understand why she wanted no part of being a lame duck governor kept nice and neatly in a box till January of 2011. Her being freelance next year is going to be the messiah's worst freaking nightmare. -

 Too funny. It's amazing how liberals, the media (redundant, I know), and some fearfully insecure republicans continue in vein trying to bury this women. After a full year of Americans being liberally clusterfckd by the Obama admisitration, Sara Palin is going to become a gigantic cult hero. She'll be out there pitching the "need to stop the glutenous governmental spending and taxation" message to the hungry masses supporting the cause for the upcoming 2010 midterm elections. It truly will be the perfect storm...the media can't get enough of her, her message will be dead on with Americans sick of socialism, the liberals massively overreached like they always do...she'll become a daily nightmare for Obama and his dwindling followers. I think that the short-sighted republicans taking jabs at her are even more funny (and pathetic). She has what it is that they ALL woefully lack... http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/charisma I'm not saying I'd vote for her (I actually kind of like her just because she pisses off so many liberal people), just saying that this is what's going to happen. So be prepared. -

Just watch, he won't even get hired as a defensive coordinator after he gets canned after this season. Is there anyone here who'd even take him as the Bills' defensive coordinator? He'll either have to take a job as a positional coach or retire. -

As for your post...I'm tired of our head coach sucking. It's been a long painful three years watching this team look like they're being coached by the keystone cops or three stooges. They get nothing but derision and ridicule from me until proven wrong. -

You're wrong. I've been here a long time and this board has never been this nasty. Personal attacks were very rare here and now, not only do they come in every thread, they come on the first page. It used to be that vicious, passionate and fervent attacks on opinions was the norm (as it should be). Now it has become like kindergarden here with the constant name calling by the same members day after day. It's embarrassing what this once proud board has become. -
This team fell off a cliff in 2008. Given two cracks at it, they couldn't beat a team within their own division and then couldn't beat the NFL's "little sisters of the poor" Browns and Niners at home. They went 2-8 in their last ten games in '08. Though I do think they have the talent to max out at 10 wins this year, the big BIG problem is that they have one of the worst ever NFL head coaches. Dick Jauron's schemes, philosophies and decision-making abilities are all embarrassingly poor. His one positive trademark that his players play hard for him hit with a tremendous thud during that 2-8 stretch. To top it off the schedule looks to be much tougher this season. Sorry, but as badly as I want to believe in 09, I'm only left with a small hope that a miracle could happen and Jauron could coach our team to the playoffs. Seriously, I envy guys like you who can still muster up so much hope.

I rarely attack someone personally here. Use sacrasm? Hell yes. Personal attacks? Try not to go there. But I did fall off the wagon and I do apologize for the "jock sniffer" comment earlier in the thread. But there's no doubt that there's a mob type mentality here where if the majority doesn't agree with you, then you're from mars and it's free-for-all pile up on the poster time. Even the few times that I did agree with these guys I never felt the urge to, as part of a group, make fun of someone personally by calling them names. There's nothing more stupid than thinking your sh__ is better than the other guy's sh__ to the point of putting them down with a personal attack on a message board. Can't you be more creative than that and knock down the opinion and not the poster? This place just keeps getting nastier and nastier. We're all Bills fans. Shouldn't we all try to at least have a minimal amount of respect for one another? -
