  1. ' Coach on the field' Warrick Holdman? has a nice ring to it.
  2. Is it possible that snaken-Aiken could make the roster again!!!
  3. in 2005 I had tix with 2 other friends in 117, row 9. This year if we dont go that route(which we may not as at least double that number will be getting them this time) we may opt for the rockpile to save the extra 170 bucks. Too early to tell though. No matter where the seats are itll be great, Ive only ever had a seat at the ralph I didnt like once(2nd to last row for home game vs texans in 2003 i think).
  4. The only reason I feel assured that Ill havce tix is bc Im getting seasons. DUring the season I can usually get tix to even the sellouts but 10 is a tough order to fill.
  5. What is the wager again?
  6. Funny how we'll end up facing Travis two home games in a row for 2 different teams.
  7. Id be #17 and play WR because im new-school cool like that.
  8. OK, here goes, people whom I have seen out downtown or have heard of(sometimes on multiple occasions). A few years ago I heard about someone running into kelsay when he was first drafted but not much since. Plenty of stories about friends of mine seeing JP downtown, once I guess he tried to go to some club in sweatpants and the bouncer wouldnt let him in despite name recognition. I guess that Josh Reed will put em back from time to time as well. Friends have also run into: Stamer and jabari greer. I know hes not a current bill, A guy i used to deliver pizzas with told me he saw a guy come up to lawyer milloy and act like a tough guy only to havce lawyer one-handed slam him into the wall. I also heard a hilarious story about Drew Bledsoes days in New England. As for denney, hes a mormon so I doubt hes a heavy drinker. In terms of who can drink the hardest and stand the longest my vote would go to Kyle Williams.
  9. Not surprising, but it could be the worst thing for him. Hard to say with a guy like that though.
  10. This could definately be fun. Where would we post the pictures to?
  11. If you dont think theres easy access to drugs in buffalo then I'll go hunting for the easter bunny with you. IMO Ricky loooked like he was not in playing shape in any way(he wasnt fat, he just didnt appear as cut up as he once was even though its hard to tell when he wears a sweatsuit). RW always ran well, this is true, and he seemed to thrive in cold weather. Heres the thing though, having watched that piece, I dont see how that guy could have any tenacity, the fight needed to get those valuable inches. ON THIS TEAM WE FIGHT FOR THAT INCH. BECAUSE AT THE END OF THE DAY WHEN YOU ADD UP ALL THOSE INCHES IT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE BETEWEEN WINNING AND LOSING! BETWEEN LIVIN OR DYING! seriously though, RW is definatley the biggest RB x-factor at this point in the offseason, wich michael bush being a distant number 2,i predict the falcons draft bush late 2nd early 3rd.
  12. 3 things: 1-We wont take the CB from Texas: Character issues. 2-Wont take Henry: never produced at the college level, Director or Pro Personnel John Guy , Coach Studesville AND marv both place a lot of value on production and less on projection. 3-I agree with Bill about it always bveing a good time to add quality depth on the lines. I also agree that drafting more second day guys to replace earlier second day guys probobly isnt the answer but if one of the better guard prospects falls into the third, I say, "take em".
  13. You're right, his junior season he really didnt produce. Those numbers are overblown BVVVVVVVVVVVT!! Bush is injury prone, no doubt about that, but I wouldnt mind grabbing him with pick 3b or 4. Before the new surgery I wanted him to go to us in round 2. The risk is worth it as the guy could be a force(in the mold of stephen jackson). We just cant draft a potential turd in the first and think eveerything is going to be hunky-dorey because it wont be(a la mcgahee).
  14. PLus, when you werent a first round guy it makes it that much harder. Schobel definately deserved it and to think otherwise is to be foolish.
  15. Denney in coverage would look like Eddie Robinson trying to tackle chad pennington. I am right now guaranteeing that you will never see an unathletic 6'7, 275lb mormon DE turned LB in our lifetimes, EVER
  16. Thank god for Dish Network, now only if they would restore my damn CourtTV.
  17. Ive been thinking about Leon Hall. Picking up the consensus #1 corner is never a bad thing, even though if Youboty steps in it would be somewhat of a luxurious pick, but in todays game, especially in the AFC it helps to have as many guys who can cover as possible. The only thing that would justify the Leon Hall pick would be if we could address LB and RB needs adequately with something other than a first round pick.
  18. If those guys are ALL still there, exactly who got picked 1-12 ? Okoye, Branch, Anderson all could very well be gone by the time we pick. I know Branch and Anderson to a lesser extent are falling but huge run plug DTs and DEs who can rush the passer dont grow on trees. SOmeone would probobly want to trade up to secure one of those propects, in that scenario we move down and select the best player available. If Calvin Johnson and Joe Thomas go #1 and 2 overall then I think Peterson is the guy who drops. If he can just slide past Minnesota/Atlanta/Houston/Cleveland we'd be good and of those teams Id say Cleveland is the only truly legitimate team who could be taking a HB.
  19. Id prefer it if she would just take care of business and then leave.
  20. Cant say that I echo that sentiment. Theres 2 backs in the league worth that pick as far as I can tell, LT and Larry Johnson(minus the craziness), thatd probobly be it. I take that back, Reggie Bush might make it 3.
  21. No way we'd sign him......character issues. You left Nat Turner off the list.
  22. Theyre not gonna get rid of caddy. They started out the year with neither first string guard helthy until like week 5. Their QB situation with or without simms was atrocious. Their line, even when healthy, is garbage. I dont think Caddillac is the next LT or anything but hes better than showed last year. In addition to being part of what one poster called a "one dimensional" offense(which I call no dimensional) he was also banged up from the get-go.
  23. I think thats the old peerless, the one who will eternally play for the atlanta falcons. Not that peerless impressess me nor do I hate him. I used to though, because of that Minnesota game back in the day.
  24. No offense but in case youre not aware the draft is loaded with reciever talent and VERY thin at TE talent, 2003 wouldve been a good year to take a TE(was that it? whatever year LJ Smith, Dallas Clark and Jason Witten all got drafted). Since the that is the case it would be foolish to reach for a TE at 2/11 when theres likely to be a first round caliber recieving talent on the board. Just because Robert Royal isnt that great dont forget that weve functioned without a top notch tight end since late in the kelly era(or ever if you werent a metzelaars fan).
