  1. Is it getting harder to type?
  2. That is what it will look like the day I stop watching football.
  3. As long as he has someone in the booth I don't think it matters much. It's may seem impersonal, but the birds eye view is a MUCH better way to break down a defense. But with todays technology, TC can probably be told whats going on, and have plays put on a monitor on the sideline if he really has to see it. Kind of like when they show a QB sitting down 1min after an INT looking at pictures of what the D formation was and what they missed. Honestly, I'd rather see him upstairs, but that's just me.
  4. I'm in if you end up needing someone.
  5. I've done 3 leagues so far and Manning and LT have gone 1 and 2 in all 3. I haven't picked top two, but if I did, I would have to go with one of them. If you don't want Manning, I think Alexander would be the way to go. Manning would be really hard to pass up though (and this is coming from a guy who hates drafting QB's early)
  6. I think he does it on purpose, just to F**k with us.
  7. A third and a conditional. Then I would trade Josh Reed and 2 third rounders for Corey Simon. Then I would save my game and take a break.
  8. 62. Ask her if she ever has this much fun with her husband.
  9. He meant 4th-6th pick....not round.
  10. As seen in the TBD3 league, I only have two players rated above WM...Manning and Tomlinson. IMO, the rest of those guys will all have VERY similar seasons, so being a Bills fan I want McGahee on my team. Not exactly being a homer, but close! The only other RB I would consider taking over WM is Alexander. He gets a lot of TD's that really push his fantasy numbers up. But I would rather take a flyer on McGahee. It makes the fantasy season that much better.
  11. It's been a while since I played in a 12 man league, but from what I remember that roster looks pretty damn good. You have at least one strong starter at each position, which isn't always easy to do in 12 man league. RB is your weak point, and I agree with others who said drop a kicker and pick up Toefield. Taylor and Duece should give you good points, but when Taylor goes down you'll really be hurting if your not ready with Toefield.
  12. Well, if nothing else you DO have your priorities in order!
  13. Yes, and Peace Corps is the obvious next step! I haven't been in and I've never known anyone who has. I can't be any help, but sure does sound like a great thing to get involved in. Of course, after a few replies I'll probably find out it's really a undercover Nazi organization intent on taking over the world. Good luck.
  14. Hey, I've never heard of him. So according to most that must mean he's good...right?

    My draft

I was actually going to draft Palmer after I got McGahee, Johnson and Gates in the first three rounds, but somebody drafted him about two picks before me. I was PISSED! I think Harrington went in the 3rd round. Too early if you ask me. I MAY drop a WR and pick up Garcia...just in case.

    My draft

Yeah, I know that's pretty weak. My first few weeks are going to depend on the Seattle recievers being able to hang on to the damn ball. MH is a pretty damn good QB, he just needs some WR's. I probably won't trade for a QB. The rest of my roster should hold me over until I find out which QB comes out of no where this year. Thanks.

    My draft

I drafted for my big draft (guys at work who are all pretty good) that has a $100 buy in. I picked 6th in a 10 man league. I don't remember what rounds I picked everyone in since I only wrote down positions. Standard scoring (focus on RB's/WR's and TD's) QB: Matt Hasselback (got him very late) RB: McGahee WR: Chad Johnson TE: Antonio Gates WR/RB: Ahman Green WR/RB: Andre Johnson WR/RB: Julius Jones K: Nugent D: Buffalo Bench: Troy Williamson ® (wr) Bench: Cedric Benson ® (rb) Bench: Jimmy Smith (wr) Bench: Chris Chambers (wr) I'm obviously going to need another QB, but I couldn't pass up the guys available. I'm hoping Hasselbeck does okay for a couple of weeks until I can find someone else to pick up.
  18. I'm not so sure. Drew is a bastard, but he gets fair deals for his clients and gets contracts done. I don't know who this Cornich guy represents, but it may be possible he will be looking at this as HIS payday too. In that case, his best advice to Nate would be to wait until FA. Just another possiblitly.
  19. I haven't checked the links offered here, but it's worth a shot.
