  1. True, everything is a mess with the CBA but most of the teams are retaining their core players. And the Bills.......well the Bills don't exactly have a solid core of players to build around. McGahee hasn't blown me away and it's tough to build around a WR. Don't even get me started on the QB situation.
  2. With the release of Mike Williams, Sam Adams, Lawyer Milloy, Mark Campbell and quite possibly Eric Moulds, I'm glad to see this overrated, overpaid bunch on their way out. The only exceptions are that Adams can be good and Campbell isnt overrated, he's just not good. The one thing I hate about this is that it's back to rebuilding and I don't expect this team to even sniff the second season for another 2-3 years. The team needs to place a bigger emphasis on the TE position to get the offense going. The obvious are both of the lines. Still a terrible time to be a Buffalo Bills fan, but it's nice to see this bunch on their way out to make room for some solid linemen.
  3. Those are calls made by the jurisdiction of the official. For once I'm taking the referees' side. The push off in the endzone was blatant. Really, I don't give a sh--, I'm just wondering what aaron schobel and mark campbell shot at the links in south carolina yesterday.
  4. Now that the media's collective boners have subsided, they need something else to talk about for the next 3 weeks. I for one feel as though the officiating did not determine the outcome of the game. But what do I know, i'm not an analyst.
  5. Thank GOD for the sabres. With the barnum and bailey (buffalo bills) circus going on, it's refreshing to see a winning team in buffalo.
  6. Absolutely not, I'll just be realistic and have to accept this team's commitment to mediocrity. I would swim with sharks before I ever cheered for that team.
  7. That's becuase their owner isn't cheap. RW will hire 2 mediocre coordinators because he is cheap and the bills will maintain mediocrity.
  8. Ya, new ownership in a new state that is.
  9. I was just thinking about that, but I think Sherman would've come cheap or at least at a respectable amount because the packers would've had to pay a chunk of his salary.
  10. I hear you, BUT: If you're looking at Jauron's career coaching record to project his success in Buffalo, think Bill Belichick. Belichick was 41-55 as a head coach before his first winning season in NE. When the patriots picked him up, do you think the fans were ecstatic about it? I doubt it. So before we throw this guy under the bus, let's have some patience and see what happens.
  11. I heard his friends call him Henry. Clone of Dom
  12. I'm completely fine with the bills being patient. It's time to get the right coach in here instead of rushing towards the popular pick. Yes, they have to act swiftly but I'm going to assume they know what they're doing.
  13. Honestly, I'd love to see a 3-4 defense. But the question is, do we have the depth and versatility to do so?
  14. Actually check my posts, I have not posted one thing about the coaches. I'm not trying to pretend I know half of what the professionals know. But I think there is so much bickering around here because a lot of people put a lot of time and money into this team and they're tired of not seeing a quality product year after year. And your right, the real head coaching decisions are and will be made by the professionals, (as they should be) but as the people who keep this product going, we have the right to add in an opinion, even if it may be bogus.
  15. I will not be satisfied until the bills at least make the playoffs, then an eventual super bowl someday. Until then, as a fan, I refuse to accept mediocrity and below.
  16. I hear what your saying, but it is still his job up until the day he is fired. Besides, I think this signing was a no-brainer. TD is as good as gone.
  17. I highly doubt that MM is going anywhere. He has 3 years left on his contract, and I think this win coupled with the win next week against the jets will cement his job for next year. RW doesn't want to eat three years of his pay, and who would? TD on the other hand, have fun golfing!
  18. I'd like to see donahoe and clements gone. Make wyche the OC and bring in a competent GM who knows how to address needs not flahy players who sell tickets.
  19. I hear what your saying, but it does nothing for me. Instead of the bills being a good "spolier" team, I'd like them to be a good playoff team for once.
  20. Don't kid yourself. We still suck. Today was a fluke.
  21. Keep: 1. Bannan DT - the more depth the better 2. Thomas CB - same as the last one, at least a decent nickelback 3. Shenk LS - either keep him or hire me because I could probably do it 4. Clements CB - keep him just because mcgee is not a #1 and we would not get equal value for him 5. Edwards- decent backup DT 6. Crowell- LB- try him at LOLB 7. Haggan- LB- good depth, knows the system 8. Stamer- LB - same as above SEE-YA: 1. Denney - DE- i've seen enough 2. Aiken- WR- another blown pick 3. Matthews- let him go advertise for levitra 4. Teague C - overpaid and gets blown up too often
  22. Let's put a solid line in front of him and see what happens. Methinks he'll rush for at least 1,500.
  23. Honestly, fletcher has been good this year and im pleased with his perofrmance. But you have to remember, he is the quarterback of a piss poor defense. If this defense was top 5, we would be singing praises.
