  1. That's good. You attempt to refute and then concede that you don't know what you're talking about. Genius.
  2. Ya, you're right the best team in football for basically the past 5 years built their team through the draft, and that's not a good enough example. The same team who has tried to buy championships for longer than that has sucked for a while. That's a bad one too. Sorry for trying to answer your question.
  3. That's a good point. I'm not looking for losman to be a gunslinger. Just a big play here and there. We need playmakers on this team, and I think our qb should be one of them.
  4. The draft is THE way to win a super bowl. Look at the patriots. Free Agency is THE way to dissapoint. Look at the redskins.
  5. That's fine. He can be "good." I just want him to make a difference. We did make quite an investment in him, so I think the expectations are warranted.
  6. Ya i'm real proud of our loss. I'm proud of our anemic offense. I'm proud of our 3-6 record. Comeone, take the blinders off. (I'm sure i'll be grilled for not being a real fan after this post because I criticized the almighty bills)
  7. Yes, I watched the game. And I agree with many in that the playcalling was subpar. This is the last time i'll say it: WE NEED JP TO BE A PLAYMAKER. JUST AS MANY TEAMS DEPEND ON THEIR QUARTERBACK TO MAKE PLAYS. So fairchild called 3 pass plays in the red zone. What does this say in their confidence in their quarterback? What does it say about losman's confidence in himself? I will give him the rest of the year to prove something, but as of now he's just behind center going through the motions, not making a difference.
  8. You can't compare running the ball with throwing the ball. Most runs are around 4 yds a carry. Most passes are for at least 8 yards per. All i'm saying is i want losman to make some plays, even if he doesn't have many opportunities. The best players make the best of their little opportunities before they become good.
  9. Thomas = North to south McGahee = east to west, southeast to west, you get the picture.
  10. My problem with losman is that it seems as though he's just "there." I want my quarterback to have a presence, be a difference maker, make plays, and be able to lead their team. So far, I don't see that in losman, and I'm thinking our coaches don't either, given his opportunities.
  11. No finishers on offense. If you want to know what I mean by finishers, watch a buffalo sabres game.
  12. True, but those are 3 times he failed to make a game-changing play.
  13. Absolutely. Unfortunately, his career looks like it's on the demise from the achilles injury. It's sad because he was once a great playmaker.
  14. At the end of the day, the main who is releasing the ball out of his hands is the quarterback. He is the one on the field (hopefully) throwing touchdowns. Ya, playcalling may have been a problem, but fairchild can't call the plays and execute them. Losman is supposed to do the latter.
  15. The main reason for the loss was the bills' inability to finish in the red zone. 11 plays for -8 yards is pitiful. Coming away with 6 points on 3 chances is also a disgrace. For this, I have to place the blame on losman. He has got to make plays in the red zone. I don't care what the gameplan is, we all know that we most likely won't be able to run the ball all the time and score touchdowns. Losman was 9/13 for 85 yards today. I understand it is playcalling. However, after today I am starting to lose faith in losman and his ability to win football games. We need our quarterback to make some plays, and frankly I don't know if he's capable of that. Between him and mcgahee, we have 2 guys that will play ok but not be those difference makers which we direly need. I am still willing to give losman the rest of the year, but he needs to start making a difference. I don't want a quarterback who is on my team soley to "not make mistakes." I need a guy who can be a game changer, and who I can count on to lead his team to victory. One more thing, to those of you who say "they almost beat one of the best teams in the league!" I don't care. Is it better to "almost" win or get blownout? The answer is neither, they're both losses.
  16. 23- Give him the remainder of the year. If he plays the same he has thus far, look elsewhere via draft because it's not like this team won't be rebuilding for the next 2-3 years anyways.
  17. So I was bored, and with the recent travis henry talk around here I decided to look at a comparison between henry and mcgahee. I took 2 years as starters for the bills and compared them statistically. (Yes I know, the lines were different with different coaches etc.) Two things I did find interesting however were the yards/carry difference and the overall yardage. We all know about henry's fumble problems. Somewhat similar numbers but not as much hype for henry from what I can remember. No I am not insinuating anything, but my question is do we overhype McGahee around here for whatever reason (big college name, miami player etc.)? I really don't have a solid opinion on it but I was wondering what everyone else thought. Henry: 2002 BUF 16 games/ 325 att/ 1438 yds./ 4.4 yds-carry/34 long/ 13 td's/ 72 1st downs/ 11 fumb./ 8 fumb lost 2003 BUF 15 games/ 331 att/ 1356 yds./ 4.1 yds-carry/ 64 long/ 10 td's/ 76 1st downs/ 7 fumb./ 3 fumb lost McGahee: 2004 BUF 16 games/ 284 att/ 1128 yds./ 4.0 yds-carry/ 41 long/ 13 td's/ 64 1st downs/ 3 fumb/ 2 fumb lost 2005 BUF 16 games/ 325 att/ 1247 yds./ 3.8 yds-carry/ 27 long/ 5 td's/ 71 1st downs/ 1 fumb./ 1 fumb lost
  18. It doesn't make it easier to be a buffalo bills fan per say. However, it does make it easier to be a buffalo fan. The only way it would be easier to be a bills fan is if they were competitive.
  19. How about when the san jose fans booed the canadian anthem last year? Gotta love ignorance.
