  1. Ok, link doesn't work because you have to sign in so here's the original text: World Diversity If we could shrink the earth's population to a village of precisely 100 people, with all existing human ratios, remaining the same, it would look something like this . . There would be: 57 Asians 21 Europeans 14 from the Western Hemisphere both north and south 8 Africans • 52 would be female • 48 would be male 70 would be non-white 30 would be white • 70 would be non-Christian • 30 would be Christian 89-would be heterosexual 11 would be homosexual 6 people would possess 59% of the entire world's wealth and all -six would be from the United States • 80 would live in substandard housing • 70 would be unable to read or write • 50 would suffer from malnutrition 1 (yes only 1) would have a college education 1 would own a computer When we. consider our world from such a compressed perspective, the need for acceptance, understanding, and education becomes glaringly apparent. 2. This is from one of my education classes (multicultural education) at Fredonia. I found it very interesting. If we could shrink the earth's population to a village of precisely 100 people, with all existing human ratios, remaining the same, it would look something like this . . World Diversity
  3. So was Ryan Leaf.
  4. I constantly hear all of these athletes say "We wanna win this one for our fans and the city." Are these guys being sincere or are they under training by the team PR guy? I always wonder this and I have difficulty seeing these guys as being genuine. I guess I just can't get the money factor out of my mind. I would like to believe that they really feel this way, and I'm sure it is in a few instances. It's hard to look at someone as a human being when they make millions of dollars a year I guess.
  5. Agreed. Also, for working out, remember not to overdo it. When your tired, stop because anything you do after that will be pretty much worthless and you'll risk injury. Also, switch up your exercises every few months. Your body becomes stale with the same workout, so keep switching it.
  6. Please put aside your jealousy and realize that the guy will be in the hall of fame someday. And you make an argument of a bad qb on a good team. Well, Ben roethlis-overrated just had a terrible game and he is a on a pretty good team.
  7. Ok, I hear ya. I guess I just can't take any QB seriously who has played for the rams. When warner was there the offense was unstoppable. Now Bulger is there and the offense is still very explosive. I just think it's his weapons moreso than him. The way I look at it, if you put Bledsoe on those rams teams, I'm thinking we would have seen the same results.
  8. I wouldn't say a lot less talent. The giants' o-line was pretty bad, ours was ok i'll say. However, he did have a solid running back in tiki barber and a solid receiver in amani toomer. Also, Jeremy Shockey is a nice target. I really don't think Warner would work in Buffalo because he is the same type of QB that bledsoe is. Pocket passer, needs time and weapons, very high maintenance. Give me a QB with a decent arm and some pocket awareness to go with moderate mobility and I will be happy.
  9. Great post. I agree with everything on your list excpet for two areas. 1. Keep Prioleau. I don't think we should change one thing from our special team personnel. He was solid in kick and punt coverage all year, and a decent backup FS. 2. Drafting a QB in the 3rd round. I don't think is the route to take. We need someone with experience in there to help Losman through his training. A rookie certainly can't help him with this. That's why I wouldn't mind seeing Bledsoe back as a backup. If we are going to take a QB in the draft, I say use a sixth or seventh rounder on one and make him the third stringer.
  10. Ok, now you've gone too far. Kurt Warner will do worse than Bledsoe here. There is no holt, bruce, and faulk in buffalo and our o-line is half as good as the rams line in his mvp years.
  11. Wow, you a little bored on this sunday afternoon?
  12. Those three are unrealistic. I like David Givens. ND Grad.
  13. I have a couple questions about this Nugent. How is he on kickoffs? Any info on how many touchbacks he had? Is he like a sabastian janikowski type who can hit from anywhere and puts kickoffs in the endzone most of the time? Thanks in advance.
  14. That's how it's been all year, I'm tellin ya he's overrated.
  15. No way we would have beaten the steelers. Jets? maybe. Steelers? definitely not.
  16. Did you really expect the guy to be happy about his starting job being taken away? Hell, I'd be pissed too. I could care less if he pouted, he never caused any real problems. (refer to moss) All I can say is that I am grateful for what he has done in a Bills jersey and that he has a good, injury-free conclusion to his career, preferrably outside of the AFC east.
  17. Why all the hatred towards travis henry?? jeez talk about unappreciative.
  18. I don't smoke but alcohol probably an average of about $150 dollars a month. What can I say, I'm Irish.
  19. My understanding of Polian's fallout with with Bills involved Polian and Ralph Wilson. Polian had a trade set up in principle to bring Charles Haley to Buffalo. Ralph told Polian he didn't want him to make the move but Polian said he had to because he already gave his word. Wilson sternly rejected the idea and their relationship was permanently tainted.
  20. HE LOOKS LIKE A FREAKIN NINJA TURTLE!!
  21. Ya it must be nice to play catch with Brett Favre when you're on the opposing team.
  22. Personally, I think that is ridiculous. Not to disappreciate the importance of kickers, but we some of the glaring needs this team has, a kicker is not worth our secound round pick right now.
  23. Well, our options are limited when it comes to what you speak of. This is the wrong year to be in need of a proven, veteran QB. And please don't tell me Warner is the answer. I thought about it, then I came to realize that he is just like bledsoe. The St. Louis offense with the line and receivers they have would make rob johnson look good.
  24. Why not, Kelly Holcomb?? Kelly Holcomb stats He is going to be a free agent and he has put up decent numbers for a weak cleveland offense over the last few years. IMO, he is an upgrade from Bledsoe. I think we should cut bledsoe, pick up holcomb and give Losman a full, hopefully healthy year to develop as the #2 QB. Holcomb is an eight year veteran with some decent experience. Also, I think he would be relatively cheap which is always nice.
