We absolutely should not be thinking about contract extention or anything based off one game (I did joke about it during the game though)
We have TT on a cheap contract for at least this year.......let this play out
One thing we do know
- We are 1-0
- We just beat a team that went deep into the playoffs last year and their start QB
- Our QB played very well

The Colts player was pushed into the punter. The right call was made. The one on the Bills was bad though.
Watch the play again.....its not the player that was pushed into the kicker there is a SECOND defender who rolls underneath the kicker not allowing him to land......
At least that is how I saw it

Yep. To top it off I'll take Sammy having zero receptions all year if it means 16-0!
Vontae is one of the best corners in the league. Right up there with Sherman and Revis. I'm not too concerned that they game planned away from him and let other guys make plays. They could have kept trying to throw in his direction like Luck did vs. Gilmore only to get pass after pass batted down and two completions slipped in.
Yes the object of the game is to win.......Sammy is gonna get his this year its coming

That said...ln one of those targets TT forced it into Watkins in double coverage and it was almost picked.
Watkins was taking double coverage and other guys were open.

I was really upset during the game about Gilmore dropping that interception.....it just seems to me that elite players should make the obvious plays
that said.....he picked his play up in the game and had a lot of pbu's

1. The play where the ball was fumbled.......and he went and got it and prevented a turnover on our side of the field.....first one there picked it up and made sure it didnt turn into a negative play
2. The play where the pass was batted......and he went and batted it down and prevented the interception on our own side of the field
Tyrod Taylor just gets it man....his brain is just so aware out there

But yes....having to have your knee drained too many times is a concern.

One day when I no longer need a job I'll share some of the funnier pitch meetings I've had with network and studio heads in town. Some of the stuff I've heard is priceless. A lot of otherwise really bright people saying some really crazy things like, "We love everything about this idea, the setting, the characters, the title. (cut to five minutes later in the same meeting) ...Now all we need to do is change the setting, the characters and the title and we'll really have something."Id love to be a fly on the wall Gregg......lol

Rousey responded back that she would go as long he got her crew (a bunch of females) dates as well

Not a popular opinion, but this seems like too much money for a DT. Dareus, Suh and McCoy don't really have a lot of playoff victories among them.
Its a good thing smart football people are running the team.

I think our worry of lack of corner talent is way overblown.......
Darby did a excellent job on Hilton (I saw the knee thing with Hilton hope he is ok)
Butler was out there and def did not look out of place.....
