  1.

    The slant is yours.

ACL's are not career ending injuries. They aren't even career threatening any longer.

As for his age.......who cares? It's the mileage on the entire body when it comes to RB's. He isn't a physical back so getting tackled 600+ times the past two season isn't the same as a DeMarco Murray doing the same.......but he also isn't a 230# RB who can withstand that either.

I wasn't against adding McCoy......i KNOW they needed a feature RB......but all things considered they should have got him for a late round pick and they shouldn't have re-done his deal. Instead they traded Alonso for his negotiating rights.

I really think that the bills didnt overthink this like fans do

Whaley "I can trade a defensive asset to improve the offense because I have a young stud MLB now"

And I hate delving into this too much because it ends up downgrading a player to justify a player.....I want Kiko to do well but

    - TWO knee injuries already....one in college

    - I felt his play fell off a bit in that rookie year towards the end......teams were taking advantage of his aggressiveness.....and I saw the same thing happen last night

I still think he can be a star int he league.....but I totally understand Whaley's thought process here.

  2. One thing I think that is very telling is the timing of release of the players Jackson and Brown

Jackson - we love you....we think the world of you.....we think so much that we are going to cut you at a time where you can still hook on with another team

    Brown ................... .................... ...................

  3.

    Nope. Had no idea.

Hey, I understand your line of thinking, and it's shared by most. That's cool.

My take is this: Most fans hate the Pats*. Most fans hate Goodell. But everyone loves a good street fight. Regardless of what happened, Pats* fans will still tune in to watch their team, and other fans will tune in to watch in the hopes that Brady and the Pats* choke.

Egos aside, the NFL is a business, and the Pats* remaining relevant is good for ratings -- and hence, business, especially due to the buzz generated by Deflategate.

I love the Bills as much as anyone, but, without being a homer, can I say that ratings for a Bills-Packers Super Bowl will draw the same ratings as a Pats*-Packers Super Bowl? Nope.

My take on this.....and maybe I am completely wrong

I think other NFL owners are now just PO'd and sick of the patriots and their cheating.......one game played and the coaches of the steelers are talking about it....ask the bills players and they will tell you how much they hate New England

I think behind closed doors NFL owners are putting a squeeze on the guy that works for them.....Roger Goodell......to put the squeeze on the pats.

The pats are no longer the NFL darlings.....everyone knows they didnt get what they have by fair play.......who knows how many championships they would REALLY have on a level playing field.

The bills are coming along at just the right time now.....everyone loves an underdog......thats us....a underdog with lots of teeth

  4. While I have no problem do this....I do have to ask.....what exactly does Fluellen bring to this team where we keep picking him up and dropping him off.

If I had to guess......Brown wasn't too pleased with not being on the active roster and probably asked for his release.

If Cierre Wood ends up starting for this team in November that won't do much for Whaley's approval rating.

When you wanna' run the ball 35-40 times per game you need some RB's.

That would only be if Cierre Wood didnt come in and perform well....if he did then Whaley's approval right might even go up since he brought him in as well.

I thought Wood looked ok in pre season......

  5.

At least I'm not claiming that someone with a 1-7 W/L ratio knows how to beat them, even the Bills did better with 2-6 over that same period. Let me get it straight though that I pray that Rex is able to improve on his record against them, starting now.

You keep coming up wrong in half the **** you post........but keep going.

    Kudos

  6. Yeah, I also looked some ALL-22 Footage and I see why Sammy went without a catch. It seems like to me he was double covered alot during the game by shading the safety his way. The BILLS need to do a better job with putting him in motion and moving him around the formation. Teams like the Falcons and Steelers gameplan on how they are going to get Julio Jones and Antonio Brown the ball. We need to do the same with Sammy. Not complaining cause we got the win

    :P
