I know that it's been said here before, but I'll repeat it - your posts are literally very unpleasant to read due to run-on sentences. It hurts my head to read them. You seem to have a lot of valuable knowledge to add, but your sentence structure is terrible. Please, please, please - limit your sentences to no more than two lines. My brain thanks you in advance!

Except they really couldn't. Most NC games scheduled by large conferences (Big 10, SEC, etc) are against lesser opponents within the same region. In fact, Boise St's strongest non-conference opponent, Oregon St, defeated USC. Besides Oregon, the Pacific NW doesn't currently have too many strong college football teams.

Except they play Denver at home if the OP is correct. But yes, it's pretty amazing that the Bills will not be leaving the eastern time zone next season.

If we're in line to have a decent shot at the playoffs, this game's getting flexed. The Ravens haven't had a lot of national TV exposure thanks to the AFC west (Broncos, Chargers, Chiefs) and NFC East (Giants, Dallas, Eagles) having a stranglehold on national games. The other possibilites are PIT/CIN and ATL/PHI. If we lose, and the Jags are in contention, it could be JAX/KC.

And why don't you include Akron and Sandusky in the Cleveland numbers? As much as I hate to say it, TD is the reason the seats are going unfilled. He excelled at getting people's hopes up, getting them to buy tickets, and then having the floor fall out underneath the team. Marv and Overdorf aren't giving the same false promises, so people aren't ponying up the money to buy tickets. As bad as TD was for this team, he did a good job at getting people in seats for some pretty terrible teams.

Ding ding ding, we have a winner! I apologize for neither the NFL nor Time Warner. However, looking at this as a person who lives 3000 miles away who isn't affected by this, you have to wonder why Adelphia had no trouble getting a contract and TW's playing hardball with the NFL. My guess is that they're bitter over ESPN outbidding TNT for the MNF package, and they're making their feelings known.

I know a lot of us are fed up with the constant barrage of commercials, but tonight was a new low. Chargers score a TD. 0:08 left in the first quarter. Cue commercial. Broncos receive the kickoff. 0:01 left in the first quarter. Cue commercial. Broncos run a play, Chargers called offsides. Cue commercial, even though it wasn't the end of the quarter due to the penalty. Cut back to the game in the middle of the commercials. End of quarter. Cue commercial. This is getting ridiculous. But of course there's nothing we can do about it.

My question is how you could enforce such a thing. Do security guards all of a sudden have retina scanners making sure that people who were banned years ago don't re-enter now?

Oh give me a break. Just because I don't like excessively rowdy fans making total jackasses of themselves means I'm not a football fan? Would somebody who's flying out from Seattle in a month just to see the Bills play not qualify as a fan? Who died and made you commissioner of the NFL? And while we're making assumptions about people, I think I can safely assume that if you think people who buy tickets to a football game shouldn't be concerned about their cost, then you must be up to your ears in debt. I think the sad part about the whole thing is that I have to sit in the clubs to avoid the idiots making trouble. It should make the "fans" praising Marv about high character players look in the mirror.
