  1. That's a US Airways commercial flight. If "Cowler" ends up coming here, it'll likely be on a private jet hired by Ralph.
  2. And for those of you curious, apparently the Colts take Northwest: http://flightaware.com/live/flight/NWA9963
  3. Flightaware.com tracks all flight plans filed with the FAA, including general aviation (i.e. private jets). You'll notice a flight last Tuesday from KDET (Detroit Municipal) to KBUF (Buffalo-Niagara) on a gulfstream if you take a look at the past history. Could this have been Ralph? Who knows. This link shows general aviation flights that are en route/scheduled to arrive at KBUF: http://flightaware.com/live/airport/KBUF/enroute/ga This link shows general aviation flights that are scheduled to depart from KBUF: http://flightaware.com/live/airport/KBUF/scheduled/ga Nothing too interesting yet, but who knows what will transpire over the week.
  4. Oh dear God I want the chin here so bad........
  5. This is actually believeable. Listen to how Kelly pronounces Cowher's name at 3:05 in this video: http://www.buffalobills.com/media-lounge/v...b0-bf425b721369 If you're some random writer for a local-yokle newspaper, and you've never heard of Cowher before, it's possible to mess this up if you only listened to Kelly.
  6. Jauron would probably be a very good DC under a Coughlin-type personality. Even a baby can do one or two things well.
  7. I think it has everything to do with the Rooney rule. Fewell's interview would look like a sham if they just fired everyone and announced Cowher/Schottenheimer/Billick's hiring a day or two after that.
  8. I would agree with Rivera IF they didn't just ax the entire coaching staff. I'd like to believe it's the chin that's coming, but something tells me it's Billick or Marty. My money's on Marty given Schefter's latest tidbits.
  9. I've limited it to the latest crop of contenders. If you have an "Other", please note it below.
  10. Graham's list also includes Tyke Tolbert, who didn't finish the season with the Bills, correct?
  11. If it's Brian Schottenheimer, how can they possibly have talked to him given the Jets' situation? If he ends up with the job, the Jets could have a legit tampering case.
  12. I would too, but given the choice, I'd take Chin over Martyball.
  13. ESPN's insider claims it's Marty: Rumors: Schottenheimer in play for Bills job
  14. While they're at it, have them report on any Siefert or Cowher sightings.
  15. The only team in the NFL that's LESS desirable than the Buffalo opening.
  16. This was my first thought as well!
  17. I just got off a 6 hour transcon flight, my DVR didn't record the game, you commited a pet peeve of mine, and I wanted the latest info on Cowher. Sorry for snapping at you. And yes, it does cheer me up. Thanks!
  18. I'm sorry, but if you're going to take the time to scold someone on posting a duplicate thread, the least you can do is link to it...
  19. - He'll be available after today. - 388 career victories - 21 bowl victories - Ten years younger than 'ol Ralphie - He'll work for Metamucil
  20. Did anyone consider that we might not be hiring a GM? Ralph is cheap, and if he can get an expensive, big-name head coach that would want to shop for his own groceries, he kills two birds with one stone. Weis isn't qualified to be a GM, but that hasn't stopped 'ol Ralphie before.
  21. Unless the playoff races are decided, look for the colts game to get "flexed" into the 4:15 slot with Nantz/Sims doing it as CBS' late national broadcast. I highly doubt it will get flexed into the 8:30 NBC slot.
  22. Questions: Who starts? Chroise or Brohm? Who do you want to see start? Honestly, for the entertainment value, I'd rather see Chroise.
  23. If only we still had the Chroisen one...
  24. I don't even think April would have come up with that monstrosity.
  25. Perhaps a few thoughs about the game from me can substitute... - WTF happened to the offensive line after the first series. The run blocking was excellent and one of my friends, who doesn't follow the Bills, mentioned what a great OL we had. I told him to just wait and see - and of course, right on cue we had the false start penalty that negated the TD and resulted in the FG. Add that to horrendous play the rest of the game and it was same old, same old here. - I wonder whose decision it was to put Trent into the game. There has been speculation here that TO prompted the change to Fitz several weeks ago. I tend to believe it was Ralph, but that's beside the point. Other than sending a message to Fitzpatrick (and I'm not sure why you'd want to do that), it gains the team nothing. Whoever made the decision gets the bonehead award this week. - Speaking of horrible coaching decisions, what is up with not using your timeouts at the end of the first half? - The game officials didn't like our secondary's tactics. I don't know if it was the Patriot* bias showing through, but we've gotten away with a lot worse than what got flagged in this game. - I really didn't understand the Maybin situation until today. I initially thought it was the coaches misusing him - this guy is a !@#$ing top 15 draft pick and he's never on the field. The onside kickoff play changed my mind - this guy doesn't have a lot of football intellgence and makes stupid plays. I think Fewell realized this at some point and as a result he's been shelved. - The Bostonians have now beaten us in 19 out of the last 20 meetings. As bad as 0 for 20 was during the 70s against the Fins, this has to be just as bad, or slightly worse.
