  1. Doesn't the value of a trade down depend on the trade-down offer?
  2. He's a free agent. He is no longer on the team.
  3. His production, for one. He had fewer sacks in four years than Von Miller had as a junior. He's also on the older side, more than two years older than Miller.
  4. I thought this was pretty interesting: http://espn.go.com/sportsnation/chat/_/id/37855/football-scientist-kc-joyner Daniel (NYC) Are Andrew Luck, Landry Jones and Matt Barkley better than any QBs in this draft? KC Joyner (4:34 PM) That's a very broad question. Yes is the answer but the more specific answer is a) Luck could be a truly great NFL QB, b) Jones is more of a system QB and c) Barkley may be just as good as Luck.
  5. http://sports.espn.go.com/boston/nfl/news/story?id=6337678 Does this change your view of him? And is that exactly what the Patriots want?
  6. It's a small plane. I have a hard time believing that they weren't aware of what was going on when they saw a 6'9 person being escorted off the plane. They don't necessarily need to be asked - they can volunteer, too.
  7. Assuming that he would have fit in the exit row, that means that some passenger(s) in that row would not change seats with him, but would rather the flight be delayed and that this person be kicked off. How about sharing the blame?
  8. Yeah, not sure what any of it has to do with anything, though. We need a starting RT more than we need a 4th DE. That is, if the goal is winning football games.
  9. Sorry, can't say I'm shocked. I haven't gone through all the teams yet, but of the final four, GB's was in the first, Pit's was in the second, the Jets' was in the third, and the Bears' was in the seventh. Patriots, Eagles and Ravens also got theirs in the second. Colts got their in the fourth. I'm not going to check every team, but if you would like to tell me where to look to be surprised, I would appreciate it.
  10. I'd be more than surprised if there is no difference in on-field performance. I'd be shocked, and I have no idea what you are basing that on. A RT helps in the run game and from the pass rush coming from that side. Just because a QB is righthanded doesn't mean he never gets sacked from the RT side.
  11. No, but I think that's closer to reality than just equating the worth of a 1st and 4th round pick.
  12. Didn't realize I was buying a brand name. I want Sherrod (at least at first) and Carimi to play RT, which I think is the biggest hole on the team right now. And there has to be something in the over Brewer if they're gone in the first and he's around in the late fourth. Same applies to every player at every position.
  13. Umm, that's correct. Unless you mean the selection is not excellent.
  14. Agreed. How much would you like to trade Shepard, Jenkins, and one of these 4ths for a shot at Sherrod or Carimi? Astro, next time you do this, we need more OTs.
  15. http://www.csnbayarea.com/04/04/11/Maiocco-Five-year-study-of-NFL-drafts/landing_maiocco_v3.html?blockID=496960&feedID=5936 According to a guy on a website.
  16. Polian didn't draft Kelly. Collins was a huge disappointment.
  17. I'm guessing the Bills have seen him play.
  18. I never thought of asking Kyle Williams for help with my math homework.
  19. The music business is dead? http://www.forbes.com/2010/07/16/u2-lady-gaga-ac-dc-business-entertainment-top-earning-musicians_slide.html
