  1. Hey Tim, Page 2 has been running a series, "Who runs this town?" but they rudely skipped Buffalo despite doing cities with only one team. So, who would you pick as the runner, and the runners up?
  2. I might trust this guy more if he could spell the names of the players. It's Bulaga.
  3. Any others were mentioned? Ididn't see it. Thanks
  4. If Florida can beat us, what would they do to Tampa Bay?
  5. It is Lance's organization. See the bottom: http://www.livestrongaction.org/content/gl...ment-end-cancer
  6. Major - difference between Moss and Owens is that the Raiders had to give up the 7th overall pick. No team is like the Bills both past and present. The Browns and Raiders have both been much worse recently than the Bills. For the decade, the best comparison is the Texans - a team that has been in the middle of the league in a division dominated by one team with the other two teams having their moments of competitiveness.
  7. Your points contradict themselves. First you argue that this game is much tougher than it seems (and I'm not sure who is saying this is going to be easy). And then you argue that Jauron should be fired for losing it. Why would you fire a coach four games into the season for losing a hard game? Losing to Cleveland would be different.
  8. Hey Tim, Changing topics for a minute, what in the division do you personally find most intriguing here on out? Jets rise? Sanchez's play? End of Patriots dynasty? Owens? Other? Just wanted to point out in blitz post, the Raiders have more sacks than the Jets.
  9. 1. Orlando is closer to Tampa than Jacksonville. 2. At least their columnist seems excited by the idea. The Toronto media saw it as a burden from Day 1.
  10. The Bills have as many wins in the Dick Jauron era as the Raiders and Lions combined over the same time period.
  11. Maybe they tried, but Walker feels spurned by the Bills and wants to go to another team.
  12. Sorry. They had 10 sacks.
  13. You are really digging deep for things to whine about.
  14. The Ravens only allowed one sack - to a team that had 9 sacks all of last season. Kudos I say!
  15. Tim, Any sense of if TO's more visible frustration on Sunday was a result of dropping passes or not being targeted enough?
  16. Schouman hasn't been ruled out officially for next week, right? I was thinking they were doing that for Hardy's roster spot.
  17. Do you still expect the Jets to struggle?
  18. They are 0-2 this year after 5-11 last year. That's sub-decent.
  19. You know, the Red Sox won three World Series with Ruth on their team. Remind me, how many Superbowls did Flutie win for us? How many playoff games?
  20. All that, and I remember how much 2001 hurt. I know not much was expected of us, but we were beating a pretty good Saints team in the second half, and then Cowart, who was far and away my favorite player, tears his Achilles, and the team never recovers. That was rough.
  21. Blame #1 is the wide receivers dropping third down passes. We had seven drives. Two were TDs, one was a field goal. The other four ended on 3rd down drops by Evans, Owens, Jackson and Schouman. And blame starts with Evans and Owens, the two veterans who were supposed to be the best unit on the team.
  22. It's really lazy on TMQ's part. All he has to do is look at the gamebook to see the Bills were taking up about as much time as they could between plays (if that wasn't obvious from watching the game).
  23. That was Mularkey, and it wasn't a season opener. No, he means like Belichick before the Pats.
  24. Read it again. I'm saying the defense played well.
  25. Good stuff as usual, Tipsy. And while we're giving Jauron a six-day reprieve, we should do the same for Kelsay. He was good out there - and he was missed.
