  1. NYJ are the solid bet this week...I like the colts str8 up too
  2. Great Idea, I'd sign up for that if i was there. Better yet, i'd love to be one who tracked them down.
  3. I think it's more an issue of the fact that most other countries do not like the Bush family. Thats why I want to see him out. He's drawn us into a big mess... Costing, lives, money, and time. War is not the answer.
  4. IMO SMith is adequate, and s probably on eof the best pulling guards the bills have had in a while, the guy can get out there and make some blocks when he is pulling. MW does not have the speed nor the body to be a guard.
  5. I totally agree with you... I see the same with London Fletcher. Our Blitz packages are relatively ineffective. Our LB's can't shed off the blockers. Based on memory, the only true pressure we generate with the blitz is from the safety position, or from Posey.
  6. I have jumped onto the DREW BLOWS category. I Feel Shane Matthews could have done better last game. I'm anxiously awaiting the return of Losman, and saying adios to Bledsoe and his cap hit. I truly feel that if he was rel;eased, he would be no better than a backup on any other team.
  7. I feel sorry for the defense. Any defense that consistently holds teams to 14pts or less is great. Only sad part is we are good for 10pts/game.
  8. I am noticing that our offense has zero production against the blitz. This is dating back to last year, most vividly, I remember dallas and Miami doing this to us. Miami were the ones who started this plan. All out blitz against Buffalo renders Bledsoe as ineffective and useless. EVer since then the majority of the teams we have played against have follow this "beat bledsoe" blue print. Don't let him stand in the pocket and beat you. Now, I thought with Mularkey and Clements being offensively minded they would have studied the game tapes of last year enough to know to adjust their offensive schemes to avoid, and most importantly BEAT the all out blitz. The way you do this is by counter plays (Which i saw them try and run), quick out passes, quick slants, and screens. I saw them try and run the WR screen a couple of times if I remember correctly, but Moulds dropped the play. If Moulds is dropping a basic WR screen, then they are not emphasizing it enough in practice to make the team comfortable with running the play. Secondly, 3rd and 1 you RUN the football, you do not run a bootleg with Bledsoe. You run it behind your biggest guy, Mike Williams. No counters, No draws, Just straight behind Williams, and you pound it in there. I have to say that comparing both O-lines yesterday, Oakland looked great. Not once did we sack Gannon, and not once did he truly look flustered. Even when we sent 5 and 6 guys, he was ALWAYS well protected. Up until yesterday i was a firm believer in The Bills being cheated week 1 and being able to turn it around. Now I'm clinging onto my last hope that if they can turn around and beat New England, or at least compete, we are still ok. I would like to see more screens, and quick patterns to complement the run game. A quick passing game is just as effective as a run game. I give props to Buffalo's Defense though, any other team in the league that can consistently hold teams to 14pts or less would win 90% of their games. Keep up the good work D, and rally up the other half of the team. Enough of this losing mentality!
  9. Josh Reed, over 100yrds receiving, with 1 td.
  10. I dont like brady, and don't like mcnabb that much... I always route for the underdog teams.
  11. Many times people portray onto others their very own weaknesses.
  12. On bodog, raiders were -3.5. I dont ever really bet against the bills, however I love to bet against the UB BULLS football team. They are playing in Nevada, I would bet against them.
  13. The oakland traitors will be held to 13pts or less... Question is, can we put up 14?
  14. moulds will restructure if his cap hit is as high as you say it is. Clements hit is not bad at all, the last yr of his rookie contract, if anything I want his contract extended, and I expect it will be, because he is the closest thing to a shut down corner we have. With some more maturity, and experience he will only get better. I wouldn't be surprised to see Mcgee get locked up as well. Drew, I agree with after this season, maybe after next. Hes very expensive without the results. I would like to see moulds and clements stick around. 2 of the best players on this team.
  15. NYJ have J. Abraham, and S. Ellis, Panthers have J. Peppers and soemone else whos good, forget the name.
  16. Clements IS a playmaker, no question about it. He played that ball great thrown to Jimmy Smith. He wrestled it away the first time, and damn near had it the 2nd. i give him props
  17. I feel that we faced on of the best run defenses in the league week 1 vs the Jags. Stroud and Henderson are better than Ted and Sap vs the run as a group.
  18. Ummm... IMO, if we don't make stupid game costing mistakes like fumbles in the redzone etc.... we will be a solid winning team, we can put up a fight with costly mistakes. Watch your offense struggle against our D, watch for our offense to pound the football, to open up the play action. They may open up the passing game a bit more vs you guys. Just my opinion.
  19. For an NFL kicker... he is terrible, one of the WORST in the league for 40+ yrds, which should be an average field goal for most kickers.
  20. In my opinion, this defense is underrated. I love to watch this defense and am 100% confident when they are on the field. I wouldn't trade this D for any other in league. Just my opinion. Our defense set us up for most of the scores. If we had an offense that could put up 14-21 pts/game consistently, we would have a great team. the defense is good for setting us up for 3-10pts on their own/game. We need the offense to captialize on the defensive turnovers, and score twice on their own. Wait for the maturation process to unfold in the coaching staff, and the team adjusting to the run first mentality. i personally like what i saw last game with the exception of a few key mistakes. I highly doubt they will ever pass again on 3rd and 1 from the 1yrd line. Correct the fumblitis, and we are set. I see all the right ingredients, just need the chef to get the recipe straight.
