  1. Give me the Powerball numbers.
  2. Um, no. Raiders fans are idiots. And the Raiders had the worst offense of all time, led by 2 coaches who hadn't coached in over 5 years. Believe it or not, but schemes count for something. As for trusting in the Bills, it's either believe them or believe people like you. The Bills had the ability to keep Clements, LFB, McGahee, AND Spikes, but chose not to do so.
  3. The only mistake was agreeing to not franchise him again. But I don't believe that Nate would have signed last year for much less tahn he's receiving now.
  4. McGahee's average against teams not named the Jets was 3.3. Again to counter your "a rookie would need to get more than 70 YPG" argument, I said it would be a RB-by-committee. And again, the O-line has been upgraded. The Bills had their chance at Rod Hood and either didn't want him or he didn't want them.
  5. That's not how one should look at it. It's A-Train PLUS a rookie RB. Because Ellison was a rookie and Spikes the highly-paid veteran who they wanted to evaluate for the future. I'm not entirely comfortable with Youboty starting. But I also wasn't comfortable making Clements the highest-paid CB in NFL history and then seeing him produce seasons like 2005 and the first half of last year.
  6. No, it means that instead of OregonSU covering the cost, the Bills are. Otherwise it would have said Ellison is paying for it out of pocket.
  7. The end of an era. I'm surprised he made it this long.
  8. Actually, RB is one of the few positions where players can make an impact as a rookie. Again, it's not like McGahee put-up all-world numbers here. Hell, they weren't even average numbers. Whittle is a good utility man. As for what Raiders fans "think," if one can use such a term with them, I'd just assume believe the opposite. Their offense was possibly the worst offense in NFL history.
  9. Apparently you need a hit of some sort. Apparently you didn't realize that the Bills signed FA O-linemen like Dockery, Walker, and Whittle. That alone should help boost the running game no matter WHO is back there. But having a guy who actually LEARNS the playbook and hits the correct hole will be an upgrade.
  10. How CAN the Bills expect to replace a 3.8 YPC, 18 catch, 6 TD no-playbook studying malcontent? As for Spikes and Fletcher, thanks for the memories. And to Nate, hope you're worth it.
  11. He's 6 months younger, hasn't suffered a major injury, and would fit a need. I'd do it.
  12. The Sabres are pretty well set for the immediate future. They've developed players amazingly well. Basically you could say everyone on the team outside of Drury, Numminen, Spacek, and Zubrus.
  13. I think the Bills will explore every avenue as draft day approaches. I'd say that giving-up a 2nd for Turner would be lower-risk than using the 12th pick on a RB, albeit more expensive.
  14. Same here.
  15. The Pens are at least a year away. But man what a future they'll have, if they can keep those guys together under the cap!
  16. I will. I'll be getting it Wednesday (I hope the footpedal, which is coming from Musician's Friend and not Amazon like the amp, comes soon after). And I'm going to install an EMG-89 that I was saving for the 3rd/last guitar I was going to build into my current/2nd guitar. That should make it scream!
  17. I guess that poster on the BB.com board wasn't so full of it after all.
  18. I'd love to see the Bills mine gems like Ellison. It just seems that they try harder because there's less of that sense of entitlement.
  19. Are you thinking of Kevin Harrison? There's no Roy Kelly in any search I've done.
  20. No clue. And as I and BC said, it's all rumor at this point.
  21. On the BB.com boards, someone is saying he heard TKO will be traded to Philly. No verification on this though.
  22. But, did he do better than Tom Brady?
