    Who knows if they had an idea that Jones would be suspended, much less for the entire year. Or even if he weren't, whether they would have suspended him themselves. In any case, they have several holes to fill, and already have a high draft pick RB on their roster in White. But hey, if they want to swap firsts and throw in a 2nd (I heard 3rd), they can have him.

    Why do you think the schedule was delayed? Obviously the Pats did NOT get to play the Bills after their bye week this year, the Pats caught it before it came out, and the schedule had to be reworked.

    Again, the Devils were 3-1 against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Worry about your Devils getting by them FIRST, before thinking they have any chance at beating the Sabres in a best of 7 series with Buffalo having home ice.

    Come on DC, because the Devils won the SC 4 years ago, they're surely going to repeat THIS year. Despite "recent history" from last year.

    What "history" is this? Last year, when they suffered a ton of injuries in the playoffs, to derail what would have been a sure SC winning season for them? That's about the best chance the Devils have of beating the Sabres, i.e. if they suffer a ton of injuries. That's assuming the Devils don't choke again early in the playoffs, going by recent history.

    So you're banking on the Sabres' lack of experience in a tight game 7? They took the eventual SC champs last year, with 7 AHL call-ups, to the last period of game 7, and most of those guys have plenty of playoff experience.

    Oops, you're right. But the Sabres have those 3 guys back while Gionta's still out, and have home ice. Not to mention they're the best road team in the NHL.
